My oven was just outside of warranty and the control panel stopped working. I paid 983 for a stove that was considered top of the line and not even 2 years go by and a vital piece of the range stopped working. It is now going to cost me almost 700 to get the oven working properly again. When I spoke to Whirlpool they insisted that there was nothing they could do even though I was just outside warranty. When I noticed that there were many other people experiencing similar problems with Whirlpool appliances I decided to contact your organization for assistance. Please if there is anything you can do for me it would be greatly appreciated.

700 in repairs for an oven that cost 983 initially....not even 2 years later. No oven for two weeks when you have two kids can prove to be challenging and expensive.

I bought a whirlpool double oven,model#RBD245PDT14,and the control panel went out rendering my oven useless. After inquiring what the code(E6-F2)that flashed up meant,I ordered a part that the supplier recommended but it did not solve the problem(part in excess of 200.00) now they recommend another part that costs about the same but it is factory backordered ,which leads me to believe it is a common default in the design itself.Went on the internet and found that countless people are experiecing the same problem nationwide. If they manufactured a faulty appliance and sold it to the consumer,Whirlpool should recall or pay to have it fixed.

Recommended part cost over 200.00,(didn't solve the problem)next part cost almost that much!

The house we bought had the Whirlpool Accubake self-cleaning oven. The home was expensive and the appliances appeared to be good quality. The first time I used the self cleaning feature, the entire oven's electrical ability had died. We called a reapirman and he said that this happens sometimes, but he put in new whirlpool parts and the oven worked again. The next time I used the selfcleaning oven, last night, the same thing happened. I am very disappointed that this situation occurred again. At 150.00 a pop, I might be better off buying a new appliance. I believed Whirlpool made quality appliances, but if this is symptomatic of other peoples issues, I wont be buying another one!

I have another repairman coming out tomorrow to fix the oven, again.

We purchased a Whirlpool Double Oven model GBD307PDS09 for our new home in 2004. After using the self cleaning feature one time, the control panel went on the fritz, sometimes working sometimes not. Called Whirlpool, Yep out of warranty... Sorry to hear about that but it happens. UGH! There are several older model ovens (different manufacturer) in my family that have been dependable and are still working to this day, well over 20 years later! The idea that these ovens need maintenance parts on a regular basis is absolutely stupid! This new oven has an obvious defect in design and WHIRLPOOL could care less. On top of that they seem to hope the problem will go away if they deny it exists and they hope we will believe it too! Looking at all the complaints all with the same exact problem tells me otherwise. The integrity (or lack of) in this company makes me sick!

Besides me being out about 400 to fix the problem every 5 years, the true consequence is that I will NEVER buy ANY Whirlpool product again and I will do my best to warn everyone I know about this particular issue and how Whirlpool has no warranty, no customer service and absolutely no integrity.

In 2005 I built my home and bought a Whirlpool gas stove from Lowes. Last year the touch pad stopped working. I called Whirlpool and the told me who to call to get it fixed. The company sent a repairman out and charged me 65 to tell me the keypad was stuck and would have the order another. It is now 9 months later and if I hadn't call them I wouldn't have heard a word and was only told that the part was backordered. Where do you go from here, to use my oven I have to cut the breaker off to get the oven to go out.
