My gas range that I purchased 4 years ago has never worked properly it does not heat up to proper temp. or just shuts down by itself it is a accubake range. I have had it repaired 4 times the last time the tech. said that it was all brand new except for the housing he said that they should of just gave me a new one this was last year (2007) know I have the same problem (2008) started on Thanksgiving took all day to make a 12LB. turkey tried to cook pork chops for dinner took over 4 hours had to buy fast food for a family of 4 can not afford this. Called company stated that they would only pay for part after I had one of their service companies come to check it out I would have to pay for service call(69.98) and labor(18.25 for every quarter of an hour).

I asked if they could buy it back or help purchase another one since I had repeated problems w/ this all of the same thing they only offered me 20% back on one of their models. I feel that my unit should be replaced at no charge or at least buy back at value. They are no help what so ever it seems like alot of people w/ the accubake system has had the same problem I feel these should be recalled and the consumer should be refunded!!

I have had to buy food from restaurants that I can not afford my husband was out of work for 7 months and had to take a pay cut of 15,000 annually. I can not afford to buy another unit and I can not afford to spend money for fast food!!!

In 2005, I purchased a Whirlpool double oven from Sears. Model #GBD307PDB09, Serial #XR2101045. I remember months ago using the self-cleaning feature and the oven just stopped working. Ever since then, I would get PF and error codes. I would simply restart and it would work. Eventually, the clock began to dim and show error codes, the doors would lock and it would act bizarre and beep. I would cut the power from the fuse box and it would start to work after a day or so.

Now, the oven just does not work. I called Whirlpool and told them I was not happy and that a simple google would show lots of other people have this problem. They stated they were unaware of such a problem, but that if I wanted to buy another Whirlpool product they would give me a 15 percent discount. I was furious. They obviously know about this problem and refuse to do something about it.

This has been frustrating. This oven cost a lot of money as well. I thought I was getting a brand and company that I could trust. This oven has been a disaster.

Whirlpool has 1,037 electric control panels on back order as of today, with 68 on back order at just one parts supplier in Atlanta. Mine has been on back order since before Thanksgiving. They hope their customers will have this repair part for their double ovens early next year Their control panels (part # 8302967) are failing faster than they can make replacements but their Customer NO-SERVICE department says there is no defect or problem! I will never again buy anything made by whirlpool.

I am one of many waiting for a control panel for my Wirlpool Gold double oven. When I called to find out about availability, I was told December 31st is the projected date. I want to know how many parts they expect to receive! The list seems long and Whirlpool can't tell me anything! How about their customer NO service?!
