Sears Push Mower |
||||||
|
As a former customer of sears I would like to make a suggestion. I believe that you should change the name of your yard and garden tools from Craftsman. This name insinuates that they are of high quality parts which unfortunately they are no longer. I have been buying Sears lawn and garden tools for the past 25 years with no problems. But, approximately 1 year ago I purchased a 6-horse Push Lawn mower. This lawn mower was used for cutting grass around the house. The house has been in the same location for the past 25 years so you can imagine that there isn't any large rock surrounding the house. My wife ran over a rock and it bent the cam shaft. The housing and the blade are not damaged. This of course is not covered in the warranty and the estimate to repair the lawn mower is $194. If I would have know the quality of Sears had changed that much I would have just purchased a Murray lawn mower for $135 and thrown it away each year. Report Your Experience
