I contracted them to put a new roof on the extended part of the house and to put new vinyl siding and house with seamless gutters. The contract was signed in December 28th of 2009 and have them start early January. It took me weeks and up to a month to get an answer from all the messages I left them. I had given them a deposit for them to start as soon as possible and they promised that the material will be delivered within two weeks. Well, a month has gone by and nothing; no-show and no response from them. Finally, I called them with a warning to sue and I called the main contracting company they work off of, and they responded quickly and showed with the materials. It took them about three months after the contract was signed.

After completing the job, they came quickly demanding cash instead of a check the next day they finished. I was furious and I told them that I was going to write a check in full but that I was not going to give them cash. After discussing it, he finally took the check. I paid in full when the job was done. The problem I have now is that after four weeks has gone by, the side of the garage, the vinyl siding has warped and I called them but again the response was not there.

I finally got a hold of them and the result was that it was not covered under manufacturer's warranty due to the fact that it is from my next door neighbor's windows that did the damage. I could not believe his answer. He told me that it is common for this to happen when homes are close together. I told him that if he knew that, then why did he not say anything so at least I would have an option in what to do. Why tell me that everything is going to look good and that you wanted for me to be satisfied.

Well now, I am told that I have to pay another $700.00 to replace it with cedar board and that I also have to paint to the color of the house because it's not going to match and if I wanted for it to match, it would have to be ordered and is going to cost me more money. I don't know what to do.
