Original Liquid Siding |
||||||||
|
Chris of Cincinnati, OH May 15, 2009 spent 20,000 in 2005 for liquid siding w/25 yr warranty. Paint on house is cracking, peeling, flaking off. Caulking has failed allowing water to enter behind paint and wood is rotting. Have had sporadic contact with steve m. he sent some men on 10/14.2008 to replace rotted wood and make needed repairs to paint. Used paint that is not liquid siding and the color doesn't match the house. Filed a claim with BBB of Lexington,KY and were told on 1/19/09 by BBB that company phone lines have been disconnected. Called which is corporate number to call. Answered by phone service and messages taken over course of several months. We can not even get anyone to sell us this paint so we can make repairs ourselves. Steve M last contacted us on 4/1/09 and saying he gave his contractor 2 gallons of paint to deliver to us. We are frustrated and angry that there is no resolution. We would like to get the liquid siding paint and make repairs ourselves. This company should not be allowed to make claims and tell consumers that the product is warranted for 25 years. the econonic damage is 20,000 for the paint job plus whatever it will cost to replace all of the rotting cedar siding on the house.
