I recently moved to Grove, Oklahoma and had the opportunity to visit the Lowe's store in town. Let's start with the 'not so great stuff" first. I know Lowe's can be busy at times, so I tried to do my best by going at a time that would be beneficial for me and the staff. I'm an elderly woman and I also brought a friend with me to help purchase items together so we wouldn't be there so long. I was wrong ...

We went the "door" aisle trying to find someone to help us with the buying of an interior door. We pressed the "need help" button, but none ever came to our aide at all. After a period of time and I do believe it came over the speaker system about eight times, we gave up and moved on. Our next adventure was purchasing metal shelves for a garage. Again, no help or staff could be found in this department. However, we did notice three Lowe's employees on the next aisle discussing other customers' impatience. I thought that to be very ironic. Anyway,..this leads to the two wonderful staff members who did step up to help out two old women!

Jason and Kyle were out lifesavers!!! Even though neither one worked in the departments we needed help with, each gentlemen were courteous and kind to us and Kyle even brought all our stuff to the front of the store and loaded it in our vehicle! What a blessing these fellows were to us! I'm new to the Grove area, and I was a bit apprehensive to shop for items for my new home. I'm just so happy that there are some great workers at Lowe's that were able to help me!

Arrived at the Bryan,TX store to purchase some items. Let back up, had a very bad experience ar the local, well just say the "orange color store". Stated I needed a particular size sub floor material and its on the second level. Older man and young kid stated they would be there in a few minutes. I said, "Ok, take y'alls time. They arrived with forklift and the older man, not only refused to get it off the upper level shelf, he tried to point me to a different size, grade and quote "it's all the same". Mind you I already had my cart full of other materials. The kid on forklift had a suprised look on his face as this is happening. I advised them if they can not or will not get the bundle down, I'll go purchase somewhere else. I told them " Y'ALL CAN UNLOAD MY CART". NOW back to Lowe's.

I walked in and needed help, same situation but sub floor is on bottom level. A young man by the name of Will help me load my cart. I am an older gentlman and just needed an extra hand. He help me load several sheets of 23/32 osb sub floor onto my cart. He went back to his normal duties while I continued shopping. At check out he offered to help load my vehicle and stood with my purchase outside while I drove my truck to loading area. If the "orange store" would done a fraction of that, they might have not gotten a bad review.

I visited the Moore, OK location on Saturday the 28th of March, 2027. I want to take a moment to talk about a young man named Jackson. Yesterday, I went in to get geared up for yard season—lawn mower, chainsaw, weed eater, edger, and a blower. It’s a lot of equipment, and honestly, it can be a bit overwhelming to navigate. But Jackson didn't just 'sell' me tools; he provided clarity.

In a world where everyone is in a hurry to get to the next thing, Jackson did something rare: He stayed present. He listened to what I needed, he spoke with authority on the equipment, and he treated my time with respect. When you find someone who takes pride in the details, you don’t just walk away with a purchase—you walk away with peace of mind. Jackson, thank you for the masterclass in customer service. If you’re heading out to get your yard ready, look for the person who isn't just looking for a sale, but looking to help. Look for Jackson. We need more of that.

When you see something good, say something great! We drove to the next town over because our go-to store didn't have the item in stock. I had discovered the same item was being offered online for much less, so I decided to ask about the "matching price offer". Turns out the very friendly and attentive employee who greeted us was the store manager. She was not able to match the price (because it was an online offer), but did give a very nice discount! I thanked her very much and went about our shopping. Every employee we spoke to made eye contact, answered our questions (with personality), and even joked with us at checkout. All this says that although these people were at work, they liked their job! Trust me when I say, their attitude all comes from how the business is managed! This is the best example of a good "Trickle Down" system. Thank you, Jessica - the Store Manager (in Crestivew, FL).

Came to buy a washer and dryer and salesman wrote the wrong product, caught it when I got home, called it in and they had to cxl order and refund my money. I was not happy with the way they refund my money taking any 4 to 10 business days. Then on the next day talk to manager. She told me that I didn’t needed to come and that they could do it over the phone, she had another associate do my order and he placed wrong, They had to cxl order again. Now I’m out of over $4200 dollars, I had to funds get put in my account again. After a week the 3rd time was a charm. Store manager Evie did justice. Thank you Evie. I was going to give a one star but you made it change. You changed the way I felt about that bad experience. That store should be lucky because they found a diamond.

I placed an order for cement & paid for delivery. Delivery was set for 2pm. I'm paying someone $50 an hour to mix & pour it. At 2pm when still not delivered I looked at order online. It now says delivery today with no time. I'm paying a guy $50 an hour to sit and wait. (I couldn't catch him before he left to come to my home & I don't think it's fair not to compensate him when he shows up.) I called store. They said the 3rd party vendor hasn't picked it up yet. I tried to remain calm & say that the Lowe's site doesn't mention anything about being dependent on 3rd party vendor. If Lowes can't follow through with delivery time when order placed then they shouldn't give a delivery time. I paid for the privilege of being "screwed".

Terrible. I ordered a storm door for my house, and they processed and sent in the order, and the day of installation, the installer saw that the wrong parts were shipped. So, they cancelled that day, and put in an order for the "correct parts". This was about a month ago. I have received no updates from them and have called numerous times asking where things stand, only to be told that they are waiting for someone to say if the parts are in and that they have left messages with various people and departments. I will be cancelling my order and getting all the money back I gave them. Never again with Lowe's.

BUYER BEWARE. If you plan on getting anything huge or whatever delivered and you're unsatisfied? Good luck getting your monies back because we finally did after a month fighting tooth and nail. Poor customer service. Worst ever. They want your money but getting it back is another story. Called the 1 800 number. That was a awful experience, hang ups, no communication, long holds and waiting for a manager was a 20 minute hold and no help. We ordered and they wouldn't deliver it to our yard so we declined and trying to get back almost 4,000 was awful especially to retirement folks like us. Finally after I threatened to call my lawyer we all of a sudden got it quick. Suspicious.

I am writing to express my frustration with a recent attempt to return a defective window air conditioner purchased online from Lowe’s. I bought the unit on April 1st while remodeling a bedroom for my wife, who has stage 4 cancer. I did not open it until May 27th, when the room was finished. When I turned it on, it blew only hot air, and when the compressor finally engaged, it immediately tripped the circuit breaker twice. Clearly, the unit is defective and unsafe.

I called Lowe’s and was told I could bring it in for a return or exchange. However, when I arrived at the store today, the return was refused because it was an online purchase. I was given a phone number—likely the manufacturer—which will take months to resolve. I cannot afford to buy another unit while waiting, as our savings have been drained by medical bills. I am 70 years old, a long time Lowe’s customer, and a Lowe’s credit card holder. I have spent thousands with Lowe's. I just get pushed away with a defective and dangerous product that I purchased from Lowes website.

Abysmal. I ordered a washer and dryer together, and ended up with an electric instead of gas dryer (that part was partly my fault - although I filtered my search for gas dryers the first one that popped up was electric, and I added it to my cart without double checking). The delivery guy, who was very good, my complaint isn't about him, let me know and called the warehouse and had me speak to a guy on his phone who said they were getting the gas one sent out and there'd be no additional delivery charge.

I was given a phone number to get details on the delivery and after being on the phone for over an hour, mostly on hold but also being lectured by the first woman I spoke with about the inconvenience I caused and I might be lying about the second delivery being free, was told I'd have to start over buy a new one. I asked about the price difference since there was about a $200 discount per unit for buying them as a set, and was told there's nothing they can do. I advised they'd need to come back and take the new washer and give me a full refund, which the supervisor eventually agreed to do. This was my first and will be my last time buying anything from Lowe's.
