We bought a 'Package deal with LG appliances from the local home depot. The package included a fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave for just about 4000 total. The first day the microwave broke and someone did come from home depot and replace it. Within a few months the fridge stopped working. After much hassling with LG they came and replaced the unit.

Within a few months of that, the freezer thawed out all my food and leaked water through the hardwood floor into the basement. While I was on the phone with LG customer service telling her that the freezer thawed everything, her response was you'de better start cooking Every repair place they tried to send me to was in NJ, I live in PA. They made me contact each place to make sure they wouldnt come, which they ofcourse wouldnt.

Finally after a few days of back and forth they found someone who would service it. Now, the fridge part is broken. They tried to tell my husband how to fix it and ofcourse it isnt working. Its nothing but a headache. There is NO reason that a brand new fridge should need to be replaced once and repaired 2 times in less than 3 years. It is so frustrating. Also, the left back burner on the stove broke and the dishwasher is starting to make a squealing noise. I am so mad that I didnt do more research on LG before buying it. I spent ALOT of money on appliances and I expected them to work and also expected to be treated with consideration when I had to call LG and I was not.

When the freezer thawed, and leaked water all over the kitchen floor, I came home to warped hardwood and a leak onto the furniture in the basement. I had to contact my homeowners to come and look at it and give me an estimate to fix it

We purchased an LG refrigerator, LG dishwasher and LG front load washer/dryer from Home Depot with an extended warranty. We have had very poor repair experience with LG, Home Depot and the company they contract the repairs with. I wish we never bought LG appliances.

I also bought an LG Reg. I don't believe in extended warranties, but for some reason I purchased it. To the day of one year old refrig, I continually have water dripping out. The first time it happened water was everywhere, I have had 3 valves replaced. Sears is telling me it is my water, so am having the water tested for gases and oxygen. Got to tell you your light problems scare me, sure hope this doesn't happen to me. I also want a new refrig. but not an Lg. Yes, I think we all need to get a class action suit against Lg and also the different stores we have bought from. It has to more than one person. So lets all do it.

No damage as yet, but constantly have to tape paper towels so water doesn't drip on my hardwood floors.

[They] should be ashamed of TV ads. apparently [they] have made it so difficult to communicate with, that [they] don't really understand how ad about vandalizing merchandise and engrandizing greed is just the most horrific message a company could send at any time - and most especially now. Remove those ads.

[LG], as most appliance companies, are now producing products with extremely short life spans - adding totally unnecessary features which require the public to replace major appliances far too frequently.

Purchased french door LG refridgerator on 3-25-07(model #LFC25760SW). On morning of 10-23-08, awoke to melted plastic in top of unit, due to lights staying on with doors closed. Checked by holding in sensors, light would not turn off. Only solution was to unscrew light bulbs.

Food inside unit was ruined due to high temperatures generated by two 60W light bulbs remaining on all night (8 hrs). If this had occurred while we were away for and extended period, a fire would probably have resulted.

It appears the digital sensor control is damaged. It and the plastic cover for the lights are melted to the point of no longer fitting in the top of the unit. The inside top of the unit is also damaged (melted back into the insulation). About 100.00 in food is ruined.
