We have an LG over the stove mount. micro wave that is less than a yr. old. It has a small burn hole near one of the rack mounts that sparks and crackles when the oven is in use. LG sent out a service company in our area and told them to buy some stray paint and paint over the area. The service company refused to do the repair because they decided that is was unsafe.

We are getting the run around from LG every time we call. It's allways a different story. We heed to get a letter from the repair company etc. We have done everything they have asked us to, but no decission to replace the stove has been made. It seems they are dragging their feet until we are out of warrantee. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

We have been without the microwave for 3 weeks. If left in the state it is in there could be a fire, injury, etc.

I purchased an LG above the stove microwave. It had a one year warrenty. After one year and 2 weeks it started to make a loud electrical popping noise when turned on. LG will not do anything because the warrenty is two weeks past. I have to purchase a new one because it is not worth fixing for what I paid and I will not use it because it is unsafe. I will never purchase that brand again because of this. I could swear they manufactured it to be no good after one year!
