Bought a 2070X Espresso Machine through Direct Buy. The pump didn't work so I took it to their local repair shop ABC. They figured parts would be in within 3-4 weeks. After 3 weeks, I kept calling ABC and no one picked up the phone. Finally went down to the shop 5 weeks later and they had no parts. Called Krup costumer service Oh, I think we sent the parts.......... Finally ABC gave me a new machine. Same problem. The pump doesn't work. Back and forth with Krups Customer Service and nothing. All I want is a refund and I'll stay away from Krups for the rest of my life. Their products are crap and their customer service is worse.

Still waiting for a response/refund after 4-5 months.

Purchased Orchestra for approx. 1,000 about 4 years ago - in the repair shop withint first few months - several machines were replaced by place of purchase - then finally, they stopped replacing (would not give a refund) so had to deal w/Krups repair. Same story as previous customer - machine spent more time in repair than in my home...I think for 1,000! one should be able to get a decent cup of coffee for a few years at least?

Our store displays cabinets, countertops, doors, windows and hardware for homes. We have a very nice coffee center hutch display in which we bought a rather expensive coffee/espresso machine from Krups to use and accent our display. It gave us nothing but headaches from difficulty making espresso to a carafe that is impossible to pour from without dripping. The user guide was not user friendly? and the machine quit working as soon as the, very limited, warranty expired.

Bought a Krups coffee maker (made in China of course) that stopped working in less than 6 months. Forget trying to contact Krups they are always out to lunch.  This was my first and definately last purchase with a Krups name tag. Krups used to mean quality now they sell nothing but Chinese garbage.

Purchased an electric kettle in April 2008 for 80. It quit working in January 2009, within the one year warranty period. I have tried to call Krups for a week, 1-800-526-5377 and it only rings busy. They may not have it set to work outside the Lower 48 and I'm in Alaska. So, I sent messages via their website and have never got a response. I simply need to know where to send the kettle. Their website is horrible. Links which should take you to an address to send products to goes to a page that says not found. Never will buy a Krups product again.
