Hampton Bay Glass Patio Table Top Exploded - We stored it in our downstairs garage for the winter. My husband went to move the table top and barely touched it, then it exploded. No one was hurt fortunately. Our 9yr old son was standing nearby and saw it happen too.

We purchased two Miramar chaise lounge chairs a little over a year ago. The cushions have completely shredded, ripped, faded, and even burned in the sun. All the padding is falling out. I contacted Martha Stewart who directed me to the manufacturer, Pacific Casual. After many e-mails and photos going back and forth, going to Home Depot to get a duplicate receipt, and much begging, I was basically told that it was too bad. They said that there's nothing they could do since the seams weren't ripped. Really? So they can completely fall apart but if the seams aren't ripped, they don't care. Thank God we didn't purchase the shattering table top.

Patio set was a gift about 3 years ago. I love it. The chairs are swivel and my daughter was sitting on it when it just broke and she fell over onto the deck. All three legs that were attached to the base of the chair broke off the chair. Can you get a new base for the chair as it is not damaged?

I purchased a Cascade Valley 7-piece dining set on May 27, 2011. It sits on our patio. Almost immediately, we noticed rusty water coming out of the chairs and table frame. This has stained our deck which is just 1 year old. The frame has an orange discoloration now and does not look nice. We are not at all happy with this product and would like something to be done. It is not of good quality.

I had my patio table for only eight months that I purchased from Home Depot and the other day, the glass just shattered into pieces in the middle of the day.

I was sitting inside my house looking out onto my patio when the glass top on my Hampton Bay Kampar outdoor dining table shattered before my eyes in millions of little pieces. I purchased this set in 2007 from Home Depot and still have my receipt. I brought in a bag and photos of the shards of glass and missing glass top. I have gotten the run around from Home Depot. They told me to go online but I can't even find this product line on the Home Depot website. Looks like I will get nowhere. Class action lawsuit sounds like a great idea.

I purchased a 5-piece table and chair patio set and I must say that it is the worse that I have ever seen. Every time it rains rust drips off of the furniture. It stores water in it too because it could be completely dry out for weeks and if you go to move a chair, you have to watch your clothes. It's so rusty. Water doesn't get all over you!

Last year at the end of the summer, I purchased a 7-piece set called the Cardona. I was really excited to have my first patio set. With such a large family, it would be nice to be able to sit outside with my family and enjoy the barbecue at the table. Well, lo and behold, I came to find out for such a high price tag, you really do pay the price from sitting in the chairs and falling completely backwards because the screws come out or food falling off of the table because it snapped at the joint. Upon inspection, it appears as if this is made up of some cheap aluminum that my toddler was able to bend in her hand. For $500, heck even if it were $1.00 when you buy something, it is obviously because you wanted it.

I had just finished grilling and was burning off residual grease when I came out to turn the unit off and had flames coming out every nook and cranny of the BBQ. I was able to get to control knobs, turn off and then I turned the tank off. Upon further looking around, I discovered that 2 of the five burners had completely crumbled and were the cause of the out of control flames. Then to my surprise, the cost of replacing each burner over 30 dollars each. What a rip off. I will no longer purchase BBQs from Home Depot and will never purchase a product made from Charm Glow.

I ordered it online and when I got home from a day away, the table top of glass was shattered on the patio. It was a beautiful set - four chairs and a glass top table. The table top was shattered and I am still picking up shards as I have grandkids and pets.

I purchased the Martha Stewart Mallorca 7-piece outdoor dining set for $499 plus tax.Recently, the glass in the table top shattered because the hold does not correctly fit an umbrella, and although I had a heavy duty holder, it still occurred when there was a slight wind. Home Depot is telling me they do not help with this even though the purchase was less than 3 months old. They want me to contact the manufacturer, which I will. However, I do feel that this was a high cost table and should be covered by Home Depot and they should be willing to take care of the problem instead of sending me off to someone else. I have used a Home Depot gift card to purchase this and have spent over 2k with them. The item was purchased online. The $499 table that is less than 6 months old.

I purchased a Hampton Bay umbrella 2 years ago at Home Depot, I intended to redecorate my outside deck. I also purchased accessories as well, including 4 pillows, an outside rug and some flowers, etc. all at Home Depot. I took very good care of my purchases by bringing them in from bad weather and also stored them during winter. The inside guts of my umbrella just came apart and when I went to put my new deck together the next season (only one season), my umbrella was not only useless, it injured me as I tried to fix it.

I took my receipts and the crappy umbrella back to Home Depot in May. I requested a new one, which I did receive credit for. On that same day, I purchased another umbrella from Home Depot. Another Hampton Bay. A 9-foot rectangular that matched all the previous purchased accessories. I loved it. That is until the guts fell out of that one too. As with the first one, I took very good care of the umbrella. Again, I took my receipts and umbrella back to Home Depot but this time, they would not comply! It is clear to me that the Hampton Bay design is poorly crafted and that Home Depot does not back up their products. This is unjustified! Again, I do not have an umbrella! I will not purchase anything from Home Depot again and I do not recommend Hampton Bay products!

My husband and I purchased a Hampton Bay patio set about three years ago. On Mother's Day the base of the chair snapped causing my husband to fall on his face right by our hot grill. Then on Memorial Day of this year I was sitting on one of the other chairs and the base snapped throwing me back off of the chair slamming my head on to the cement. I went to the E.R. I have been attempting to get Home Depot to give us a new furniture set and pay the one doctor bill.

They told me that it is not their responsibility but rather Hampton Bay. They cannot give me a phone number to contact Hampton Bay & I am having a very difficult time finding the correct point of contact on line. We did not put this furniture together ourselves, it was made in China and poor craftsman ship is evident. Not sure what to do?

One summer ago, I bought a new table and chairs from Hampton Bay and a glider to match, and two of the chairs have broken down at the base and snapped off. This is unacceptable when you spend hundreds of dollars on outdoor furniture. I now have broken chairs. One person was sitting in one and fell back in the chair.

I heard a loud bang on our outdoor screen in the porch. The patio glass table had exploded and the room was scattered with pieces of glass. Finding a replacement is impossible. Tables are sold as sets including chairs, which ours are like brand new. This glass is very expensive.

I purchased a seven piece patio set with two swivel chairs. This set is four years old, and has always been covered during off seasons. I have been very pleased with this set. This year, both the swivel chairs snapped at the base, one while I was sitting on it. I went to the store where I purchased this set, to try and purchase two new chairs of the newer set, even though the color is a little darker, but was unable to purchase individual chairs. I would like to try and purchase two of the older style chairs, or replacement parts (two bases) if that's not possible. I would purchase the newer style. I did hit my back and head, when the chair broke, but had no serious injury.

As I stated in previous complaint; this has been a nightmare of product misformation. I purchased a spa through Home Depot .com. Due to several communications with different individuals involved, I feel like I have been bent over the barrel. I was told that the spa had to run for 16 hours in order reach factory preset temperature. I followed enclosed instructions to the "T". After running 5 or 6 hours it had only heated up 1 degree. I called back and asked if there was a heater for the unit. The QCA technician told me to get in touch with spaguts.com to find a heater, I did, and spoke with a young lady the name of Nancy, she told me to go to a web site that sold in-line heaters.

According to what was found there I ordered from Home Depot.com the heater. Which I have since returned because it would not work on the spa as stated. I was supposedly given credit for the heater. I talked to Tammi at QCA again and was told it would cost only $.75 a day to run the spa. Furthermore they wouldn't take it back since I had used it. I told her I had not used it. Simply followed the instructions that came with it. I talked to a Florida Power and Light Represenative and gave him the statistics of the motor and how long it must run. He stated that it would add at least $50 to$60 dollars a month to our light bill. I then called a man by the name of Chris at Your Other Warehouse supposedly owned by Home Depot.com. I told him that I had been under a lot of stress behind this Spa and all the run around behind it. Also I was physically sick and I wanted to return the Spa. He said because it had been used; which I denied again. The best he could do was to give me a 15% credit on my account, but would not take the Spa.

I do not have a complaint about the service when we bought our patio set. My complaint is with the product. Our Dana Point patio set is 1 year old this summer, it has not had hard use at all, yet two of the chairs broke at the base causing two of our guests to fall to the ground. There were no injuries for which we are thankful. One of our guests fell into the pool as a result, ruining her cell phone and watch. Just a suggestion, reinforce your chairs. Neither person was over weight. Don't know what happened.

I purchased a patio furniture on 05/05/2008. I ask for a new one and they told me that this was the only one they have in stock and they would discount the patio furniture due to floor model and I have to purchased the patio that day. I made the purchased the same but did not take the delivery till the following week due to the size of the furniture I have to hire a outside delivery persons to deliver to my house.

I contract outside delivery but when I received the items a cushions was missing. I contacted the store and they told me because it was missing cushion that is why they discount the patio furniture. I was never told from the beginning that the cushion was missing. I contacted the supervisor Kevin M. and he promised to call me in few days. I have not heard at all from the supervisor therefore I went back to the store and try to resolved the problems with the manager.

Finally the manager came out and help me and I have the phone call from Doreen that the cushions is ready to be pick up. Today I went back to the store try to pick up the cushions that promised to me and met customer service Lawrence H. and I gets a run around again from him. I was very upset at the store treatment and he escalate the problems to the next level and I feel very threatening by his behavior and finally we have supervisor Vicky came out and told him to go inside the office. I am extremely dissatisfied with the treatment from home depot and especially customer service Lawrence H. toward me. He verbally abused me at the counter and I told him to stop it and he continue to badger.
