My daughter and I went shopping at Sears for a sweeper and cookware because she was planning to move out of town and get her own apartment. During that shopping trip, I purchased Farberware utensils and happily discovered at the checkout counter that I was entitled to a $30 rebate.

The sales clerk pointed out that the conditions specified on the rebate form had to be followed. Consequently, I cut the UPC label from the cookware box and filled in the necessary forms. Then I made color copies of the forms that were to be enclosed in the same envelope and put it in the mail at the local US Post Office. The conditions stated that it would take eight to eleven weeks to process.

Many more than eleven weeks have now passed and I have yet to receive a rebate. Moreover, the people at the rebate center failed to contact me acknowledging my complaint.
