Customers have 5 different eradication techniques to choose from:

• High voltage termite control

  this is a non chemical technique that involves a technician identifying where the infestation is and then the technician uses a copper wire to help use low pulse electricity to kill termites that are present in the wood. This treatment is best suited for infestations that can be easily identified and easily reached. The treatment only kills termites that are within reach of the electrical pulse and this type of treatment does not prevent future infestations from occurring.

• Bora-Care

  is a termiticide that is used for the treatment of all 3 major types of termites. It is a solution that is applied to wood and it helps render that surface useless for termites. It is recognized by the U.S. Department of Housing Development as an acceptable agent for dealing with termites, ants, beetles, and fungi.

• Orange oil products

  is a chemical treatment for termites and the compound is made from the rinds of oranges. This technique is used for easily identifiable and small termite infestations. The chemical is applied to the infested areas of wood and many times drilling is required when applying the compound. This type of treatment is only effective for drywood termite infestations.

• Termidor termite control

  Termidor is one of the most popular termite products that is used in America. It is a liquid compound that can be used to eradicate existing infestations as well as a defense tool for future infestations. A technician will apply the product all the foundation walls of the structure and also to any visible areas of infestations. The product is undetectable to termites and the termites spread the product to each other.

• Whole structure fumigation

  The fumigation process is used for exterminating termites that are inaccessible or from the technician’s recommendation. The process involves sealing the structure with a series of tarps and then the structure will be fumigated. The structure usually remains sealed for about 1 day and all air levels are checked before the structure is deemed safe. The process is very safe however occupants and pets will need to leave the structure during the process.
