Betty Crocker Juice Extractor

Jan. 26, 2009 I put a carrot in the juicer and the carrot flew threw the top plastic and the whole juicer broke apart. Pieces of plastic hit our son, 25, and our young daughter barely escaped being hit. Food flew all over the kitchen with a lot of force.

Luckily no one was seriously hurt, the kitchen was a mess and upon checking the juicer, we discovered that the carrot made a hole and exploded thru the plastic top and then parts of the grinder broke and were explelled with great force. We are out a juicer and need to find out if there is at least a reimbursement for it.

January 4, 2009 I was starting to put an apple into the juicer extractor. The ring inside of the extractor and the front blew apart with such force that it was all over my kitchen and into my living room, which is about 12 feet.

A piece of the plastic cut my upper lip just below my nose enough that it started bleeding. We put a cold wet washcloth to stop the bleeding. I'm not saying that I was severely hurt. This is the following Thursday and I still have the marks under my nose where the plastic hit.
