It never wants to play, new games right out of box, it freezes when your in the middle of a game. It also makes a loud noise and we have to keep shutting it off and turn it back on until it stops.

I am just so sick of it, you spend tons of money on games and the system is junk, my husband gets really mad and is ready to smash it. So please get back to me.

I bought an Xbox360 about a year and a half ago, paid over 450 for it, and now it's not working anymore. One day it just died showing the 3 red lights on the front panel. I sent it for repair to Microsoft, and UPS told me they delivered it on the 20th of February. Today I called Microsoft, and they told me they didn't receive it yet. Somebody's lying... but the UPS tracking number confirms that it was delivered. So I guess Microsoft is lying.

I'm losing money from my Xbox Live subscription, plus I have over 2000 in games that I can't use.

The system burned a little and does not work at all now.

My husband splurged to get the xbox 360. It was a gift for him and his son to share together. Nice Christmas present. They bought games and wireless remotes. All the good stuff. And don't forget the online card too. Very expensive for everything and we don't have a lot of money and my husband saved for months. Well it didn't last but a couple of weeks. It got sent back and took a month to get the new one.

Yes, you guessed it, it lasted 9 hours. Now I'm waiting on a box to send it back again. When I called the myxbox number the people were rude. First time I called I had no idea what the guy said. I'm usually good at accents but this time I understood nothing. I hung up and called the number again. This time the accent wasn't so heavy but still he had to repeat a few times. I asked to talk to a manager and I was told no . I asked why and he said that the manager doesn't talk to people and he wasn't allowed to connect me. Wow, I was shocked. I kept trying to get a manager but gave up after 4 hours of calling back. I just asked for my box to send the machine back. I can't see why we just can't get our money back for all we spent. Can't say they enjoyed using it because I think they managed to get maybe 1 week use out of it. Other products can be returned but not this. Microsoft has lost my business. I'm not sure what to do with a machine that keeps breaking or all the stuff they bought to go with it, but be sure I'm not buying another xbox.

Bill of Piney Flats, TN February 24, 2008

In early February, my son's XBOX360 was returned to the repair center for a warranty repair. It was replaced with refurbished unit which immediately had problems, included a loose piece in the console and bent connectors on a controller port. We called the service center the next day; we were told not to worry. Four days later the unit would not even start. We returned the second unit for repair. It has been returned with the determination that the unit was tampered with and therefore no longer repairable. Two calls to the service center have resulted in the determination that we have no recourse, the determination of the service center is final. WE DID NOT TAMPER WITH THIS UNIT. The alleged tampering was the result of Microsoft's refurbishing of the unit. Additionally, we have not received all of the materials sent to the repair center (the power brick). I am not even sure we were sent the same unit we had returned.

This product was purchased by a 13 year old from money he had earned himself. All of his Christmas money was spent on software. He (and I, his father) have essentially been called liars by Microsoft. The product has - we have since discovered - a history of high defect rates. They have not even offered a paid repair option - although the tampering was not done by the end user.
