Shortly after purchasing my xbox 360, games were not being read by the system. I noticed on the back of my games there were circular scratches on the discs. I take very good care of the games and knew it was not from me. After 4 different phone calls to xbox customer service they finally decided to have me send in the system. Once I received it back they informed me that they sent me a new system, but never stating what was wrong with the original. The issue I have is that 7 out of my 8 games have these circular scratches on them and will not work even with the new xbox. So I have a working xbox with 7 games that wont work for it.

I sent in two letters, one to the xbox people when I sent in my system and one to Microsoft with no responses. I also called xbox about this and was told that they would not replace or reimburse me for any games unless they were created directly by Microsoft. This left me still with 6 games damaged. I cannot afford to go out and buy these games (6 games at 50-60 dollars each) and in no way is this fair that a system made by Micrsoft that caused the damage has no consequences on their behalf. Not to mention they would not even respond to my letters.

I have an Xbox 360, and my son has one at my ex's house. His failed about six months ago, and I called and had a box shipped to us for repairs. Two weeks went by, and I hadn't seen anything. I called and asked for the tracking number and checked UPS on-line while I was talking to the service rep. The UPS web site said the box arrived in another city over 100 miles away. When I asked why it had the wrong address, she explained that UPS must have switched the labels. I tried to get this process expedited, but they won't help. I even tried to pay for the shipping, and that's not allowed. I asked for a manager and was told they don't have any. The Service rep then sent out another box; I sent it back, and in a total of 2 months finally received a refurbished one back.

Now my Xbox is broken. It was 8 days to get the box for shipping. While I was waiting, Xbox sent me an email that said if I didn't send my box soon they would cancel the repair. It took 6 days for them to receive it. On the repair web site it states that they will have your Xbox repaired or replaced within TWO days of being received. It has been down there for 7 days now. I have called to find out the status, and the rep can only tell me it has been received. I asked about the two day statement on the web site, and he explained that was two days to receive, then two days to diagnose, followed by two days to repair. If they can't repair it there is an additional two days to test the replacement. Do they make this up as they go? I am so severely disappointed with Xbox. I love the system, but their support is dismal. I also received an email saying they are having problems charging my credit card for Xbox live. It might be because I'm not paying for something that is useless until they return my Xbox.

These xbox 360's are defective! Mine was purchased last November 2006 and I have the 3 red lights coming on. Called Xbox and they are advising to send it in and we may have to pay! How can they charge us for this product when they break? They need to be recalled, this is ridiculous!

I paid over 400 for a xbox 360 used it for a little over a year and now the money is wasted because it does not work anymore.

I have had the XBox 360 for a year and the video has already gone out on it. The color gets distorted and then goes black. The sound of the game still plays in the background.
