i bought a xbox 360. They replaced it once because it over heated. It is less then a year old. We sent it in again cause it had the three circles of death, they say now it was tampered with. I said HOW?. They said they had pictures of it. i said can you show me, well unfortunately we can't do that. I am like what? Any suggestions?

i have sent back my console to be repaired 3 times because of the same issue , which is some sort of hardware failure. upon sending it back for repair again forthe third time they did not repair it. they accused me of tampering with the console. which i did not do because i knew it would void the factory warranty as well as the warranty i additonally bought for extra protection. they said that the warranty stick had been tampered with. which is rediculous because it was still in tack and not broken. i now have a five hundred dollar piece of garbage.

i have spent well over a thousand dollars on everything i have purchased to go with this xbox and now it is all useless. i cant believe that they would accuse me of tampering with an xbox that the repair factory sent back to me. i knew that these mac hines were unreliable so there is no way i would jepordize my warranty with them being that it is still under warranty.

if you youwere to request my records from microsoft you would see that i have sent back 3 consoles for repair, within a year of eachother and everytime they give me a new warranty so why would i be stupid and mess with that. the answer is easy. i wouldnt. so i believe that microsft was tired of dealing with my broken consoles and said it was tampered with. how am i to know the signs of tampering. its my word against theres however the warranty seal that voids the warranty if broken is still indeed intact.

Returned console per the warrenty over 4 months ago and has not been returned or replaced as stated on the paperwork. The repair center did not secure insurance and it was lost at FedEx. Which without insurance only covers 100.00.I keep calling and I am told over and over it is in review by a superviser. No one will tell me when i will receive a replacement or if I will. The consule cost 560.00 including the game in the consule when it broke.

My son is broken hearted his gamae has never been delievered. He keeps asking everday after school if it has arrived.

Joseph of Newport News, VA April 22, 2008

Joseph of Newport News VA (04/22/08)
i bought a xbox 360 in october 2006. got home and plugged it in, it had the 3 red rings. took it back t o the store and got another. then i purchased a 2 year service contract with microsft for 60. about 7 months later, 3 red rings and after 4 weeks i got a replacement with a different serial number. i noticed online that my warrenty said it was up in february 2008 (when my contract says october 2009)

so after i got my replacement xbox (novermber 2007) and noticed the warranty i began a non-stop calling sequence that lasted until, in april, after 2 letters to the service contract department and i would say about 15-20 calls from novmber 07-april 08, still not taking care of and all they tell me to do is wait. now for the 3rd time, my xbox is broken, i call to get it fixed and they tell me that its not in warranty! how do they get away with these things! i mean really!
