The company failed to fix failing phones in the store. I could not reach customer service. I could not dispute your bill because you could not reach customer service. I sent emails to customer service with no response. I also filed with WI BBB and the matter went "unresolved" as they didn't respond to them either. They threatened me with collections and I responded in writing with copies of all my unanswered phone calls and emails. They still sent me to collections. So, if they ignore your problems, questions, and billing errors for 1 year, they can send you to collections?

I called to cancel my mobile phone as of August 16, 2011. I then called on the 17th to ask how much I would still have to pay and I was told to pay for the full amount of the service through September 7. I called them back and was advised that their policy only cancels at the end of a cycle. However, my policy is that I don't pay for services that I have already cancelled. Element mobile "took over" the service that I had contracted with Alltel several years ago. I am not breaking any long-term contract with Element. I asked for a copy of the "contract" and they told me that I was not "on contract." At the end, I was speaking with a supervisor. I just said "good-bye" and hung up the phone.

Element Mobile recently bought out my service from Alltel. Following the transition on 01/08/2011, there have been several changes to my service. (1) I have been unable to send or receive text messages longer than 2-3 lines; (2) Many text messages sent are never received or are not received for several days, despite my phone telling me that they were sent successfully; (3) Many text messages sent and received contain cryptic text other than the original intended text; (4) I was unable to open or send picture messages; and (5) I have made numerous attempts to contact Element Mobile regarding these issues by phone and email beginning on 01/09/2011, but to date, not one call has been returned.
I am currently paying for a service that I am not receiving. The delayed text messages caused my ride to arrive at the airport at the wrong time following a delayed flight and left my employer uninformed that I would not be able to attend a meeting. The inability to send picture messages has made it difficult to send photos of items to my supervisor for purchase approval. The limitation on length has made getting a message through difficult, and the cryptic messages have left customers and myself confused as what the other person is saying.

Our cell phone company, Alltel, sold out to Verizon and Element Mobile. Our part of the company went to Element Mobile and our phones have not worked since 1st part of January. They are continually on roaming. Phone calls are not reaching us. It took a visit to the local shop (15 miles away) to get our phone reprogrammed, but as soon as we walked outside the door, our roaming was back on and not all calls are reaching us. We can't get anyone to answer the customer service lines or return calls and can't get out of the contract until June. We don't know why we have to pay for a service that doesn't even let you know what is going on and you can't get in touch with.
