Great service, they fixed my iPod Touch 4G's broken home button and although it was kind of expensive at like $40 and it did take 3 weeks, it was worth it.
Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I dropped my iPad2 on a concrete floor. It hit on the corner, shattering the glass in the frame area (but not into the display), deformed the aluminum case slightly (like about a fingernail clippings worth) and made a hairline crack across the entire screen. I sent it to DigiExpress. They were prompt about assessing it and repairing it, but they didn't tell me it was on hold until I paid for the parts (why didn't the contact me after the assessment?). Once paid, it was promptly returned, but the digitizer behavior was nearly useless. The entire left inch of the screen was non-responsive, although it would randomly click things in that area. This wasn't a subtle failure. It is complete lack of QA. They accepted it back for a warranty repair (but I still had to pay for shipping to them, which seems like poor customer service) and it was promptly fixed.
The result however is still unsatisfactory. The screen isn't set completely in the case. It is "cushy" in the areas it sits proud of the case. The device works and it is an improvement over the original state and it was cheaper than an Apple authorized fix, so maybe it's just that I got what I paid for. Still, it was a hassle, so there may be better places to try.

Based on testimonials, I sent my unit in for battery replacement as per advertised price of $40.74. The unit was returned, "repaired successfully". Home test revealed battery acting the same as before I sent it in. It would not hold a charge. However, it did work perfectly while in the charger. They sent a "repair return" authorization and eventually told me there was a problem with the logic board. No cost estimate given. They held the unit for 13 days and when I inquired when I could expect it to be returned, they shipped it the following day. No explanation for holding it for almost two weeks with no communication. To my surprise, when I received it, the unit was inoperable. I am devastated and am currently trying to communicate with them as to how and why this happened. So far, no success. My unit does not work at all. I just experienced a $300 mistake by doing business with DigiExpress. They did refund my $40.74 however. This company damaged my iPod Touch while in their possession.

A technician has completed a Diagnosis of your device. The technician has determined that to complete your repair there will be additional parts needed. These parts may be from obvious physical damage or from internal damage, $19.99 for the headphone jack and $9.99 for the battery, a total of $29.98. So I figure 10 bucks for a battery, not bad. So I pay the extra $29.98 a week later and $60 paid to these guys I get this email: Due to a problem detected in the main electronics board of your device, your repair cannot be completed at this time. We value providing our customers with a cost-effective repair solution. However, the cost for this repair exceeds the value of a new device. We will be issuing you a refund for all parts you have purchased for this repair. Your device will be returned to you as soon as possible.
These guys need to be shut down, how can they get away with ripping us off like this? I went to the BBB and they have an F rating, make sure you go to BBB and file.

It has been held for two and a half months, to notify me that it had just been tested, and now I had a hard drive failure, and they and threatening me, if I did not purchase more package insurance. ** DigiExpress. Do not send your stuff here!

I sent in my ITouch for repair of a weak battery (charge not lasting) and the sound was intermittent in one ear. I prepaid for the shipping, repair, and parts. They sent it back saying there was a problem with the main board and it was unrepairable. Now it won't charge, turn on, or anything. They broke it while in their possession. They claim the repair costs more than the ITouch is worth. It's a great way to cover incompetent technicians. They sell refurbished items. Why not send one to replace the one they broke?

This company has ceased communication with me after failing to replace the aluminum back plate with an Apple-compatible back plate for my iPad2, leaving me without the ability to use my magnetized Apple Smart Cover. Additionally, because they opened the iPad up a total of three times because they failed to provide a 64Gb back plate, instead adding a 16Gb version, the display is improperly sealed to the back plate and has no chance of ever being sealed properly. So, I am left with an essentially broken iPad2 which has a much lowered market value were I to sell it.
Additionally, they threatened to return my iPad back to me in pieces. The next day, they then offered to replace both the display and the back plate, but insisted that I take responsibility if their heating up of the computing digitizer causes the iPad2 to be "fried". Of course, I said no way. This company should not be your primary source for iPad repair. Their behavior is inappropriate and illegal, in this case. They refuse to correct this problem.

I sent in my iPod Nano (2nd gen) to DigiExpress (www.Digiexpress.us), because the battery was getting weak. It simply wouldn't hold a charge very long. I sent it in, expecting the $25 diagnosis, plus $6 return shipping, plus $10 for a new battery. They did that, then said there was a problem with the click wheel, and they wanted $20 to replace it. I explained that the click wheel was fine when I sent it in, but they basically didn't believe me. After thinking about it, I paid the extra $20 for a click wheel.
They installed that, and during checkout, before sending it back, they said they found a problem with the main board, and that it wasn't worth repairing. They offered to take the $20 click wheel and $10 battery out, and sent it back unfixed for the $25 plus $6 shipping. I got it back unfixed, as expected, but it came back with a significant scratch on the front, on and underneath the click wheel, which was not there when we sent it in.
Also, it came back completely non-functional, and they admitted it did work when plugged in when they received it. I did receive a refund for the battery and click wheel (after I opened a dispute via PayPal), but I'm out the $30.75. What a waste of time and money! I sure wish I had read about all the problems with them, before I sent my iPod to them. My recommendation is to run away from these guys.

The screen of my iTouch cracked. I sent it in for a screen replacement, paid the extra money to have the board replaced due to their feedback regarding function. I received the unit back and although it works okay, the screen clarity is terrible, nowhere near OEM. Touch screen capability for games is limited and the new home button does not work well at all. So, although they repaired it and it does technically work, the product I got back is much worse than the product I sent. I used to use this for watching movies, playing games and reading books. Now, due to the issues with the screen, I doubt I'll use it at all.

I, like everyone else, wished I had checked them out first. I sent in an iPod Classic for what appeared to be an earphone jack problem (the iPod worked perfectly when connected to computer). I also had them install a new battery, just because they had it open. They contacted me about 2 weeks later, and said my logic board was bad, and it would be another $78. I paid for it and waited.
Finally, after about 6 weeks, they returned my iPod. It did not work at all. I immediately contacted them, got an RMA, and shipped it back. I got it back about a week later. Thankfully, it worked. However, I think I was a victim of some kind of bait and switch. I suspect that they scavenge parts from one person's iPod, and install them in another, kind of like a Ponzi scheme. I will never send them another device for repair, and have urged all my friends not to use their services as well.

Do not send them anything to repair! They left the 4 screws that hold my iPad screen down and they didn't replace the little metal frame that goes around the camera under the digitizer. I guess they needed parts for someone else's repair. Email them several times and never replied. They sure would reply in 5 minutes when they wanted paid! Best bet. Don't use T USE DigiExpress. There are other ones out there without all the complaints. Shame I didn't check these guys out till after the repair.

They assured me that my iPod's problem was the battery base on the symptoms, I described over the phone. After spending about $35 on diagnosis and shipping, they shipped it back saying they could not fix it nor refund my diagnosis money. This is a scam, and a financial risk. Do not trust this business. $35 down the drain completely.

Won't honor my lifetime warranty. I had my IPOD repaired in 2008 . They replaced the hard drive and screen. They charged 138.00 and told me lifetime warranty. This was the only reason I had it repaired.
They said too bad. Warranty is now 30 days. My receipt says lifetime but that matters not to them. I would never do business with these people. Check the BBB they have 44 unanswered complaints.

I sent an iPhone and an iPod touch 4g for repair. I got back my iPhone and the round button on the bottom doesn't work properly. For the iPod touch, I had to authorize replacement of the battery almost immediately and finally received notice that it is unrepairable, after a little over 30 days. I would think any repair facility should have an alternate means of powering a device and should have been able to test in a much more timely manner consistent with their promises. All charges were refunded with the exception of shipping, but the bottom line is that I have spent money on two devices which neither were repaired properly and had to wait in excess of 30 days to get a diagnosis.

Research complaints about DigiExpress before doing business with them. I, like countless others, was returned a non-functioning iPod. Upon return, the device would power up for a few seconds, making clicking noises, then power off. Customer service is a joke with this company. After multiple attempts to contact DigiExpress through email and phone calls, my belated email reply from them was, "we didn't receive your earlier emails. The 30-day warranty period has expired. Please send the device back for another $25 diagnosis". I was furious! To make a long story short, after an unproductive series of email exchanges I deleted all correspondences with this company and chalked it up to "buyer beware". Now today, DigiExpress offers to review the situation if I can produce my past emails. If they had replied to my initial emails or answered their phone, they would have my emails and a record of the situation. This place is a ripoff! Do not do business with DigiExpress.

Here's the bottom line: they give you a 30-day warranty on their work. If you figure shipping, you have about 20-25 days to make sure that the work they do is good. In our case, two weeks after their warranty period ended, it broke again. If your problem is a broken ear phone jack (no sound), I strongly advise against using these guys. They charge about $75 and do not guarantee their work for more than 30 days. We got nothing for our efforts and are worse off than before since we have to pay someone else to do their repair job.

So now just wishing I'd thrown it in garbage and bought a new one.

Sent my iPod to be repaired on 1/12/2011. Clearly stated before sending that the iPod was dropped in a bowl of hot soup. The customer service told me that there was probably just a short to the battery and would be a minor repair. So I decided to use DigiExpress because it was cheaper than buying a new one. After diagnosis, I was told that the logic board was damaged and the cost to repair would be $150 and would take two weeks. I was a little hesitant since a new iPod would cost about $230 but I already paid for shipping and packaging and the diagnosis so I would stand to lose that money.
So on 1/27/2011, I paid $150 for the repair that would take 2 weeks. I have been in contact with customer service as I do not have my iPod back yet, and will not get it back until at least next week. When I contacted customer service on 2/15/2011 I was told I would receive the iPod in two days. Of course, I never did. After almost a week later, I contacted them again. This time I was told that my iPod was sent to a third party company for repair and would take longer because it was a complicated repair. I was never informed of any of this. I was only told two weeks then I would get my iPod back repaired. This process has taken over 6 weeks and I still do not have the iPod.
If I had known all this information when I first placed the order, I would definitely have chosen to go through Apple. I regret sending my iPod to DigiExpress. I was lied to on the 15th when customer service said my iPod would be shipped in 2 days. I definitely want all of my money refunded because DigiExpress was not upfront about the repair. I was never informed that it would be sent to a third party. I was told two weeks for the repair. It has now been over a month. It would have been more costly and time effective to buy a new iPod but the DigiExpress website leads the consumer to believe that their company will repair for much cheaper and faster.
When I originally contacted DigiExpress, I was led to believe that the repair was very minor even though I clearly stated that the iPod was dropped in a bowl of soup. Another lie I was told. I have done nothing wrong and I feel I should not be the one to suffer because I chose to use DigiExpress. I demand a full refund for the repair. Digi Express can eat the expense. Also, I want them to be honest with their potential customers.
