Blast Fitness

6832 B Market Street
Wilmington, NC

Sylvia of Wilmington NC writes (3/1/02):
Blast Fitness was formerly Exercise Today of which I had prepaid for two years gym services. That term would have ended on 5-19-2002. I was told Blast Fitness would honor any deal customers had with Exercise Today until their contract ran out.

I knew I would not be renewing with Blast Fitness so I elected not to sign up with them. Because of this, the person in charge (Jim) demanded I leave and even threatened to call police. I did nothing wrong to warrant this type of treatment. If this is the way customers are treated at this facility why are they allowed to remain in business.

I would like an apology in writing, a refund of the amount left owed to me, and some type of reprimand to this company to let others know how they treat customers. I was truly humiliated and feel that I was not treated in a civil way that any customer should be treated. I am out $30.00 that was remaining on my original contract.
