I ordered Kevin Trudeau's book, Debt Cures, before searching his credibility on the web. I believe I am another victim. The same things happened to me: the Customer Service rep just kept on pressuring me to purchase other items, such has a newsletter, magazine subscriptions and other items. I kept telling her"no"--that I just wanted the book. And I have paid extra to receive the book in 3 to 4 days. It's been 5 days, and I haven't received the book yet.

I didn't have the money for the book to begin with. And now I don't have the product. I wonder if the book has helped anyone, anyway. I'm not sure if my credit card was charged any additional fees, which I will investigate.

I paid 44 in January for 3 of his books and have NOT received any books so far!  HELP!

I was sitting in front of the TV just this weekend, and somehow ended up watching Kevin Trudeau showing his books. He got my attention with things that are true and that I have researched. I decided to purchase the books that were suppose to be free of charge, only paying handling and shipping.

Right after the order the lady started offering me more and more things. I told her I didn`t need anything else, I was interested only in the 2 books.

Two days later I received a phone call, on the phone number I left when purchasing the book, from a company called Quality Resources. They were offering me a 40 free gas voucher and some other things for 1.00 using my credit card number.  They knew my card number, my name, my cell phone number and my address!

When I asked them where they have this information, which is not suppose to be in their possession, the man left a phone number and tried to hang up as quick as possible.  After a short search online I found that this same company is some how connected to Kevin Treadau and the purchase of the books.

I will cancel the newsletters and maybe stop the charges. I am also planning on changing my card number and contacting the Federal Trade Commission.

I don`t know if it is Kevin that is doing all this, the tv show, or maybe the companies that do the transactions for him. I don`t know, but I know one thing, it is a scam and I didn`t expect such a thing.

I just wanted to say thanks for the heads-up on this guy. I've had some health problems and have been up late at night recently. It was the first time I heard of this joker. But the health and debt help sounded SO plausible and convincing, I ALMOST bought into it.

However, I'd like to offer some help to others who might have been taken, or to avoid it in the future. First of all, NEVER NEVER NEVER purchase anything like this with a debit card. There is often little, if any, way to get your money back, and scammers then have access to your bank accounts. If you MUST make a purchase, use your credit card. If a charge is on there you did not authorize, contact your credit card company directly (both by phone AND mail...instructions are usually on the back of your statement) and report a fraudulent charge. The company should remove/suspend the charge(s) pending an investigation. Finally, contact your state's Division of Consumer Protection to file a complaint. (If you don't know how to find them, Google or go to www.(your state).gov and then use the search engine. It's often in the Department of Commerce. Many states have laws against this type of thing.) Also, if you have a media consumer reporter in your area, contact him/her, too. With enough bad publicity, perhaps Kevin Trudeau (and those like him) will shrink back into the woodwork. Finally, remember: If it sounds too good to be true, it IS! Be Cautious, Be wise, Check it Out FIRST! Good luck to you all, and thanks for helping me stay AWAY from another scam artist!

Natural Cures book does not provide that much information that Mr. Trudeau claims it does. After reading these complaints, I am sorry I have purchased his books. Alliance Publishing are the ones who publish his books. They are involved since they publish his books.
