Charles of Spring Hill, FL August 28, 2009 In the book Free Money I wrote to all the address he put in the book and got return to sender from the Post Office no long at this address. The address are all olut dated or don't exsist. I ask for a refund and haven't got one. Beth of Hudson, NH August 28, 2009 After viewing an informercial which looked like it was part of the Home Shopping Network, I decided to order Kevin Trudeau's Free Money Book. Unfortunately, I did not research Trudeau before ordering. Part way through the order I told the operator I wanted to cancel because of all the additional offers and actually felt like it was a bait and switch situation, since I was encouraged to pay extra money for the latest addition of Debt Cures. I was told at that point I couldn't cancel the order and would need to call a customer service number to do so. This was before the operator had finished offering me everything from Walmart gift cards to "free" magazines. It seemed this company really pushes items that require monthly charges to your credit card. I had not been given a total or confirmation number yet, but I was not allowed to cancel. I called the customer service, as instructed, only to be told that they can't cancel orders. I was told that the order was already in process and there was no way to stop the order and my only option was to return the books when received and absorb the shipping charges. I told the operator there shouldn't be any way that it was too late to stop my order since I didn't pay the extra 9.95 to rush my order. I was told my order would be shipped the next day and my information would not appear on her computer until then and it would be too late to cancel. Fortunately, I realized I could work with my credit card company and stop this company from charging my account. It did require me to cancel my card and receive a new one. David of Wilson, OK August 28, 2009 Ordered Kevins book "FREE MONEY". It absolutely told me NOTHING I didn't already know. Sent me to a nightmare of government websites that were about as easy to use as his book... Most of the informations was for people who was older or needed more welfare. very disappointed..... michael of goodlettsville, TN August 19, 2009 ordered the book went to every website in it and every one of them wanted money i thought this was the idea of this book was free money well i am very upset and will never listen to a word he says again. jenny of anchorage, AK August 19, 2009 i watched his infomercial on tv and then went on line to google him and his book. the infomercial made it seem like the grreatest thing and he really just wanted to help people get what was owed to them then i read what others had experienced by buying his book what a scam i'm glad i googled him first because like most people i can't afford to throw my money away he should not be allowed to be on tv making promises that in reality are just lies shame on him and the people who are involved with him Michelle of Danbury, CT August 17, 2009 I paid for (and was charged for) a one-year membership costing 59.95. I never received a confirming eMail and have tried to contact the support center of the site 5 times and have even tried leaving voice mail messages and eMail, which is Kevin Trudeau's radio show web site. No luck with any of them. I even tried calling various phone numbers that I found on the web. All to no avail. Barbara of Clovis, CA August 14, 2009 I ordered the Book Free Money..During the order process the lady KEPT trying to sell me one thing after another, I KEPT TELLING her NO!!! NO!!! NO!!!..after 38 min I was assured the order was for ONLY the Free Money Book NOTHING else................LOW and BEHOLD I got the bill today and it was 167.00, NOT 29.95 + Shipping and handling..I called the customwer service number spoke to Yvonne agent #3266. Told her I was NOT going to pay this bill and will be returning th ENTIRE mess and I wanted a FULL REFUND including the S+H, she informed they do not refund shipping and handling which in my case happens to be 23.90 WHO in their righ mind would agree to pay 23.90 to ship a samll hard cover book. NOT ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Joyce of Buckeye, AZ August 13, 2009 Ordered book from television promotion for Kevin Trudeau's Free Money Book for 29.95 plus shipping and handling. Received and empty box! Called customer service and alerted them on 6-15-09 of problem and they sent me an email for a postal claim for the problem. Sent it back to them. Waited until 7-15-09 and called back to complain nothing had been received. They stated it was "in the mail" Now on 8-11-09 they say I waited too long and "nothing can be done and I just lose my money and still no book! This fraud! deb of ANDERSON, IN August 11, 2009 in ordering the 'free money' book, i was pressed to buy all the add-ons. i stated repeated;y that i did not want anything else other than the 3 copies of the book. Finally, in frustration with their continued harassment, i simply cancelled the order during the call. to my surprise the books came anyway. i did not accept them from the mailman and hoped that would be the end of it. i was charged for the books even though i had cancelled the order and refused delivery. when i tried to recover my money in a series of long phone calls, they refused to credit my account saying each time that the telephone order taker was not allowed to cancel the order or credit my account. the only option was to lose my money and the books or pay to have them shipped again. so it was no money, no books or books i did not want for double the outrageous shipping. i have been a professional bookseller for 30 yrs. and have never encountered anything so deceptive and unprofessional. i have ordered from them before under somewhat better circumstances in earlier years. i told them i would not stock their titles in future if they didn't make this right. they could have cared less. i will never support this greedy person again! he is well over the line! harry of troy, TN August 11, 2009 I ordered his Free Money book and i was told i would reeive debt cures free. I stayed on line with operator for about 45 min. , she was trying to sell me every thing and i finaly told her that if she tried to sell me one more thing i would cancel my order. She tried to sell me something else and i told her i was through. When i got my package there was a lot of stuff that i did not order but was charged for.I sent it all back but the two books i wanted . It cost me but lesson well learned. Report Your Experience
