Tom of Butte, MT November 14, 2009 Just like everybody else Kevin Trudeau is GONNA HELP I had a card with about 60.00 left on it---today I have 8.00 I ordered His book for 29.95 after the insane shipping charges of 33.oo I dont even have gas money, this 65 year old vietnam veteran really thanks you Kevin e of EUREKA, CA November 12, 2009 why don't you HELP put this swindler out of business Charles of Cordova, AL November 7, 2009 I too picked up the phone and called to order Kevin Trudeau's books. I was immediately given the sales pitch for other things that I was not interested in. When I was told about the shipping costs, I knew then that I was in trouble. I had already given the operator my debit card information. I told the operator that I did not want anything other than the books. She proceeded to still push other "free" items on me, but I told her "NO". Immediately after getting off the phone with her, I researched Kevin Trudeau on the internet, and it comfirmed that I was a chump! I called the number, and I give them my financial information. After reading about the mysterious charges that others were hit with, I decided to put an end to this mess and not have to deal with Kevin Trudeau anymore. By the way, I was charged MORE than what I agreed to when I called and placed the order. From what I read on this site, and others, I knew I had to do something to prevent them from taking any more of my money. Here is what I did... I cancelled my debit card with my bank, and ordered a brand new one. It will take about 5 days to get a new card. It sucks, but it's like I put myself on a 5 day probation for being stupid! My bank informed me that if anyone tries to use that card for any future purchase, it will be declined. I hope they try to send me all the same crap, they've sent other people, and charged them for it. I'm not going to pay to send it back, and I'm not going to pay to keep it either! I didn't ask for it, and I am NOT going to pay for it! If you want a solution to them taking money out of your account... There is something you can do! It's a little aggravating, but it's well worth the trouble! Just cancel your debit or credit card. Close the bank account that they have on file, and open a new one. Problem solved. Just keep the stupid stuff they mail to you... and that you didn't ask for. When you cancel your card and banking account, they will not have any way to take any more of your money! Oh, and if you start getting hit with a lot of calls from the telemarketers from hell.. You have two options. The first option is to have your number changed and get a new one... And the second option is to get a whistle and blow it when they call you, and you answer the phone. Kenneth of North Adams, MA November 3, 2009 he offers you a look into the world of debt to help you out and cures for pain and what ever else false web pages that lead you in circles and on top of all that when you order your credit card number is given to all kinds of money grubbing sharks who feast on the poor and unfortunate who try to get some relief from false statements. the next thing you know your credit card has been charged an unreal amount of money and i think that the goverment should stop this phoney and all his cohorts from being able to lie and sell your credit card number to all these infomercial companys. we need help with this and there isnt anyway to stop them from this without help from the feds or whoever. plz help me and people like me who have been scamed from this beast. i have gone neg on my account at my bank and payed over the limit fees for things i didnt buy and for this i think someone should step in and go after these snakes in the grass Robbin of North Haledon, NJ November 3, 2009 I tried to place an order for a book and some free items. They were very far from free. As I expressed my frustration, and after giving my credit card number for the items I wanted to order, I was offered many additional incentives and costly items that were supposed to be part of the initial 29.95 book. Finally, the rep.hung up when I stated that 99 was just too outrageous for a "free" offer. Since she had my credit card-I tried to call back to be sure what happended to the order and/or my credit card number. I was told to call customer service. C.S told me to call the order department; the O.D. sent be back to C.S. I then began to receive calls of extra special incentives with a number that went to the order line where no one knew anything about the extra special offers who told me to call C.S. I gave up. These folks should not be in business. Their practices are deceptive. JACQUELINE of York Springs, PA November 1, 2009 I called to order Kevin Trudeau's book advertise on TV. Low & behold I was charged 152.85. For what should have cost &29.95+S&H 41.95. I kept telling the girl over the phone no, I din't wante extra books & magazines before. I could canle she sayed it was already charged to my debit card; Ibit I'll have a hard time getting refunded. I know now to late this Kavin Trudeau is a charlatan. Please warn others. john of wasilla, AK October 18, 2009 I ordered the debt cures book didnt find anything i didnt all ready know I googled him was surprised at all the complaints he will not get any more of my money it seems the gov. cant or wont stop the scams heres a thought the tv stations put him on just for monetary greed call the station ask them why a person like trudeu is allowed to scam people through there media tell them if they dont stop you are going to contact all the buisneses that advertives with them you will not shop with them as long as trudeau is alowed to continue to scam the people the tv stations should research the companys before they are allowed to scam the public tv stations who put them on have dubious buissnes ethics Deborah of Powell, TN October 18, 2009 Saw an infomercial and went online and placed my order. While the infomercial was still on, I went online again and read SO MANY complaints about how his book(s) are all scams and that they contain unsubstantiated information. I decided to change my mind and went back to his website, but there was no "Contact Us" tab for me to send an e-mail that I want to cancel my order. I would like to cancel it now before it ships because I don't even want to pay the S&H charges. Plus, it will take a lot of time to get my money credited back. There needs to be a way to contact. One woman said that she called Cust Sv about another book and was treated rudely. I don't want to go there. Sandra of Banks, OR October 16, 2009 Kevin Trudeau is using unethical marketing and duping people out of a lot of money. He has a revised version of his Debt Cures book, but is using an old infomercial on TV. He is offering the book for only 19.95 instead of 29.95, shipping and processing charge is almost 12. The offer includes another small book on Credit Improvement and a CD. But when you call you are bombarded with other expensive offers. If you order the book and then try to cancel your order, you are told that it is going to ship and they cannot cancel. barb of lexington, SC October 13, 2009 saw ad om tv about his book. freemoney, called number, ordered book. then girl on phone tries to sell me additional pkgs, told her no, then started in on another pkg deal, said no, i have limited funds, kept on about deals, so i told her to just cancel my commplete order, to delete payment, not put it thru. needs to stick to just what people call in to order, not try to shove another deal on them and charge extra shipping charges, racking up more money on deal! I won't bother to buy anything else on t.v. again. got ripped off before on music pkgs. this kind of advertising ruins it for other prospects. Report Your Experience
