Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I ordered and paid to Perfect Hearing Aid for 2 hearing aids worth $598.00 on Sept. 3rd. I got 1 on Sept. 12th. It didn't work. I called Eric on Sept. 14th and told him I only got 1 but it didn't work. He told me to send it back. He sent me 2 new ones and never heard from him. I sent it back the same day I emailed him. I told him I didn't want the hearing aids. I wanted my refund back but he refuse the refund of $598.00. He lied to me all the time. The biggest lie he told me that he was an honest man. If he was there, there wouldn't be all the complaints against him. I told him he was the most dishonest man I had ever done business with all my life of 85 years. He did deny it.

The Consumer Law states that it is sometimes necessary for them to contact you, in order to determine whether there is a legal remedy for your complaint. There is no charge for any such consultation. Check below if you do not want to be contacted by an attorney.

Complaint submitted on May 12, 2010. I ordered hearing aid from Perfect Hearing Aids on Oct. 16, 2009. I called Eric at Perfect Hearing Aids with complaints of comfort and he advised me to return for an exchange to a different model, which I did in Nov 2009. I waited until Feb 2010 to get the replacement and never did. I submitted a complaint to BBB and found they have an "F" rating when I submitted the complaint. I wish I checked BBB before I ordered the hearing aid. I requested $288 refund in March/April with a 100% guarantee by Eric by email that I would have a cashier's check in my hand in April. I never received it. Today is May 12, 2010 with no refund or response to the email sent to me on April 20th.

I just want to let the people know about this business that's trying to sell hearing aids to the consumers. We people try to save money and when businesses of this type try to do all they can to keep our money, it is hard for us to trust anyone we try to buy from. Yes, I also was a victim of theirs.

I ordered my hearing aids the programmable type last Nov. 09, which when I received them they worked, but after a few days, they started to acting up. Let Eric know did some adjusting as he said, that worked for a couple of days. Then they kept getting worse. The sound I would hear instead of voices was more like echoing and muffling sounds. I let him know. I wanted to get them fixed but no answer. I kept emailing. No answer. Then I finally said, okay I will just send them back and to do so you needed a confirmation number.

Let him know about this. Well around Jan, I finally got one. I sent them back with confirmation number from the Post Office with insurance on them. That was Jan 27th 2010, well now I still have not received my cashier's check that Eric said he sent to me last month. I talked to John the other day. Well he said they were having problems. And said he would email me my mail confirmation number to keep up with where the mail is.

Guess what? I am now having problems with him, he called and asked me if I sent them back if I just wanted them fixed. I said, "No, it has been since Jan that I sent them and now you want to know if I want them fixed." I just want my money back and it seems as though they have all kinds of excuses to keep someone's money. John said he was going to make it a better business.

Well with my opinion, I haven't seen any results yet. And will keep letting people know until I get my cashier's check they promised me last month that I should have gotten about 2 months ago. They owe me about $878.00 and would like to see some kind of results really soon. Please people watch out for the trap. I have better results with others I have tried and sent them back for my money back. Hope this will help others.

My complaint against PerfectHearingAids.com has been resolved as of April 13th. My money has been returned in form of a cashiers check. The company is now being ran by a new gentleman, who was more than willing to assist me.

We had a horrible experience with perfecthearingaids.com. His company is completely unprofessional and unreliable. However, we were taught a lesson in that we will always check with "Better Business Bureau", "Rip off Report", and "Consumer Affairs" before making any future internet purchases. We had to file a dispute with our credit card Visa in order to obtain a refund.

In Sept. 2009, I order 2 Rosebud Digital hearing aids. They ask for my hearing test. I sent it to them and they told me the hearing aids would be programmed for my hearing loss. I got the hearing aids and used them a few weeks and decided they weren't working correctly. I emailed Eric several times and finally called and got a message. I left the message about my problem. No response.

After a few days, I called and left another message after three messages, I got a little bit hateful and I finally got a return call from Eric. I told him the volume control on the right aid was not working. I did everything he told me to do and still no satisfactory results. I called again and again and when I finally got to talk to Eric and he told me he would send me a new set of tubes.

Here, it is Feb 2010 and still no tubes or satisfaction on the hearing aids. I think this company should be put out of business and all the money that consumers spent on these "make believe" hearing aids should be refunded. I am on a fixed income and paying for them put me in a financial bind. Without a doubt, they should have to make restitution and put out of business.

I purchased a pair of programmable hearing aids from Perfect Hearing Aids.com and they did not work properly. I kept trying to do things to get them to as Eric described for me to do, of course, nothing helped. So I informed him it did not help. Of course, I kept emailing him letting him know I would just like to send them back and be refunded. Well, he just kept insisting I try something else. I just kept telling him they just don't work. They don't seem to be programmed right. I still told him I wanted to return them. Of course, no answer. Now, hear I am writing a complaint about him. I want to make sure this company will be shut down. It is bad when these kind of companies prey off of people that just want to try to save money because they really can't afford the big prices.

I ordered a hearing aid to try for my mother and it didn't fit in her ear. I called and was told that they could send me one that didn't have the tips and it should fit, plus it was $20 cheaper. I returned the first one and now, weeks later, I still haven't received my replacement. If and when I get someone to answer the phone, I just get the run-around. I have left multiple phones messages and sent multiple emails without response. I have been told, "It's on the way," "You should have it tomorrow," "I will send you the tracking number today," "You have my word that I will send you a tracking number this afternoon."

I have requested my money be refunded and it hasn't. On January 13th, I finally got someone on the phone and told them that I still hadn't received my replacement. I was told it was on the way, so I insisted on the tracking number, so I could find out where it was. Eric assured me that I would have the number within 30 minutes via email. I checked and within the hour, there was an email from Stamps.Com with a tracking number. The tracking number was created on January 13th, not some day before, so my order wasn't on it's way as I was told.

As of January 19th, the package still hadn't arrived. I contacted the mail service because to me, the tracking message indicated that they had been notified to expect a package, but they didn't have it. As I expected, that was what I was told by the postal service. I had just been given a number, but no box was on the way. I called PerfectHearingAids again and got Rich on the phone. He told me that Eric would be in at 12:00 and he would call me then. I had been told that before and no one called, so I informed him of that. He told me he only answered the phones and couldn't help me. He assured me that Eric would call. I sent an email to support and to Eric once again stating that I wanted a full refund immediately.

I got an email "sent in behalf of Eric" stating that he would be in the office and would call. I did get a call from Eric and he assured me it had been sent, but when I told him there was no activity on with the tracking number and what the postal service had said, he said, "There must be a problem at the post office and the box must be sitting there somewhere." He told me to give him an hour or so and he would go to the post office and find out where it was. He told me, "I can understand your frustration with the postal service." I informed him that wasn't who I was frustrated with.

Well, it has now been more than 24 hours later and I still have no call from Eric. There still isn't activity on the package. I sent another email to Eric, telling him that I wanted my credit card to reflect the return of my money this week. But once again, I haven't received a response. When I was buying, they were oh so helpful and kept telling me how easy it was to return the product before the 45-day warranty if it didn't work. What a story that was. At this stage, all I want is my money back and they don't seem to want to do that. I filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau in the Ocean Springs area earlier this week and noticed that there had already been multiple complaints filed against their company in the last few months.

I ordered a pair of behind-the-ear hearing aids from PerfectHearing.com in Nov, 09. I dealt with Eric and he assured me I would be well satisfied. I sent Eric my hearing test so my aids could be adjusted accordingly. Upon receiving my aids, I felt they weren't adjusted right but wore them a few weeks to be sure. I'm now convinced they need adjustment but I've been unable to talk to anyone at Perfect Hearing and my voice mails have been ignored. I'm now convinced Perfect Hearing is a fraudulent company preying on the unaware. I want to see this company put out of business. I am disabled and my only income is Social Security. The loss of the cost of the aids was a disaster for me.

On March 19, 2009, I ordered a Digital Mini In the Canal Hearing Aid from PerfectHearingAids.com I received the hearing aid on March 30, 2009. I immediately noticed that the hearing aid sent to me was different from what I had ordered. It was too big for my ear. It came out too far and could easily fall off. I returned it the very next day March 31, 2009. I insured the mailing of the hearing aid with the post office. I wanted to secure my investment. I called Perfect hearing aids after about 2 weeks. They could not tell me if it had been received.

I called again a week later. I still didn\'t get an answer. I spoke to Eric in customer service. He was irritated with my call and told me that I had to wait 45 days for a refund. I have records of e-mails that I have sent to PerfectHearingAids.com It is now June 17, 2009 and I have not received my refund. I have e-mailed them and tried to call them since last week June 11,2009 at 1-888-435-3339. I have not been able to get a hold of anyone. All I get is a recording that there is no one available to take my call and to leave a message. Well, I have, but no one has replied. Funny, how quickly PerfectHearingAids.com took care of withdrawing my money for payment but they are nowhere to be found now. I am so unhappy and feel so cheated by PerfectHearingAids.com
