Buyers Haven

Donna of Eastsound WA (11/8/04):
We ordered hearing aid batteries on Oct. 4, 2004. We did receive a confirmation of the order on the same day of purchase and were told the batteries would be delivered in 4 to 6 weeks. I checked our credit card and the charge was made to our account on the same day the order was placed. I tried to Email them to check on the order with no response. I have since checked (which I should have done prior to the order) for complaints. We are not the first to have a problem with this company.

James of Phoenix (6/27/04):
Hearing aid sent to them for repair 05/26/04. My credit card charged for "rush" service 05/31. After NUMEROUS e-mails and phone messages left, NO response whatsoever. I am out over $2,000.00 for hearing aid replacement if they do not return it. A business associate of mine in MN actually got through on the phone and was told they were returning my hearing aid but "it got broken in shipment because it was sent in an envelope". My aid was returned wrapped in a zip-lock bag in bubble wrap in a cardboard box as witnessed by my wife. I have filed complaints with the MN BBB, MN AG, and AZ AG.

Unable to hear and conduct business in a proper manner. Headaches and suffering, especially when flying or in a crowded room. Mental anguish, dispair, and embarrassment. $2,000.00 + expense for replacement

Frank of Pequannock NJ (7/17/03):
I ordered hearing aid batteries from a company on the internet for $17.75. I received the batteries on 6/20/03 but they sent the wrong size. I emailed them immediately and asked them if I could send them back as I was leaving for vacation on the 29th of June. They said they would send them back by return mail.

I came back July 7th, and they still hadn't arrived. I sent numerous emails and never received an answer. They show no phone number or location, only the e-mail address. I finally e-mailed the webmaster and told them my story. Within an hour they replied, telling me they never received the batteries. If this is true, why didn't they answer my emails? They asked for my information again and promised to mail me the correct batteries. That was the tenth of July, and I have heard nothing from them since then.
