Janice of Newnan, GA (10/21/06) I received an invitation in the mail to attend a 'free' dinner to learn about the benefits of magnetic mattress pads, pillows, and seat cushions. It sounded good so I bought 1 queen size mattress pad, 2 seat cushions and got 2 'free' pillows.
I was supposed to receive a full price rebate after 35 months, if I submitted all proof of purchase as required. I made a notation on my computer calendar so that I wouldn't forget or run out of time. I also made copies of the original papers I had to submit. My rebate was supposed to come from United States Administrative Services Company, 18950 U.S.Highway 441 #102, Mt Dora, Florida 32757 where I sent my required documents by certified registered mail. It was received by Ronald K.Gooding on 6-10-06, over 4 months ago and still no rebate.
I am now 75 years old and I have fibromyalgia which the magnets was supposed to help.They didn't help and probably delayed me receiving proper treatment. I'm out $1,329.12 plus postage of $5.04. I feel like such an idiot for being taken advantage of this way. This 'free'meal really cost me much more than I could afford.
Janet of Ravenna, OH (10/08/06) I purchase a twin size magnetic mattress pad. It was suppose to be delivered within 8 weeks but was finally delivered after 5 months.
I'm suppose to be reimbursed in 35 months after going through the necessary steps that was indicated. I called but the number was disconnected. Now I find out that the state of Ohio is trying to sue the company for their neglect.
How are we suppose to know if we are entitled someday for a refund? This company has completely vanished and what about the sales reps and the managers? You mean none of these people can be located?
Jackie of Buffalo, MN (09/27/06) We purchased 1 queen mattress pad, 1 twin mattress pad & 2 seat cushions which totaled $2,210.94 in May 2003 from Greentree Health Systems.
In July, 2006 I called Cash Back America and they gave me an e-mail address to find out when the rebate would be processed. I tried several times but nobody every replied until yesterday when I got an message saying "Unfortunately Greentree has gone out of business and did not pay for many of the vouchers they issued, so as a result we have to look at each one to verify that it has been paid".
We jumped through all of the necessary hoops to get our rebate 35 months later and now I verified through a google search that they are out of business. Most of the people that wrote in the complaints on Google had dealings with GHS to purchase magnetic items after we did. We were told at the seminar that this was guaranteed cash-back money. No if, ands, or buts.
We are out $2,210.94.
Glenn of Brunswick OH (09/18/06) I purchased a magnetic mattress March 20,2003 (voucher #359465) with the understanding I would get a refund in three years if I followed the procedures, which I did. I have been since March 10, 2006 trying to get some information. USAS tells me Greentree did not pay the vouchers. They waited six months to let me know. If there is anything I can do to get in line for this refund, please let me know. I have all the copies and paperwork from this transaction.
Lois of Port Huron MI (09/07/06) I purchased the magnetic mattress with the promise that after 35 months I could receive my money back a total of $996.88. It has been 2 weeks since I sent a certified mail to the company asking for my money back. I have not had a returned copy of the certified mail leaving me to believe I probably will not ever hear from them.
Rita of Eastaboga AL (07/28/06) I attended a dinner at the Annistonian. I purchased a magnetic car cushion and two pillows. I was promised if I waited three years and followed the procedures I would get all my money back thru a rebate system. I've done everything i was supposed to. I sent all papers in, I have called the company -- they said i would have to contact the holding company which is called Cash Back America Inc. I have emailed several times and get the same responce each time that they are still processing. I don't think i will ever get the rebate.
James of Bellefonte PA (07/28/06) March 7, 2003 we purchased 2 magnetic pillow specials @ 2/$149.00, 2 for 1 magnetic seat cushion special @ total of $280.00, for a total of $454.74. We were promised up to a full refund of $454.74 if we filed a claim to Cashback America, Inc. if we submitted the proper forms and certifications by a certain date. We submitted these forms on Feb. 17, 2006 , Confirmation received indicating Cashback America, Inc. received it on Feb. 21, 2006. Promise was we would receive up to full value spent within 6-8 weeks. We have been waiting for five months and have not heard a word. Items are not presently being used. We received no benefit from them.
We do not feel the products performed as they promised. We saw no benefit. We are both retired and would like to receive a check for $454.74 as soon as possible.
Byron of Bellefonte PA (07/28/06) March 7, 2003 we spent $1460.68 for the Greentree sleep system, king matress pad, two magnetic pillows, and 2 magnetic seats. We are both heart patients & we asked if they were safe for us and was told YES. Mrs. Hall had also had three back surgeries. At time of purchase we were told we were covered by a cash back insurance through Cashback America, Inc., 5449 South Semoran Blvd.,Suite 20, Orlando, Florida 32822 if we sent the proper information to them by a certain date. Because of the near disastor caused by using these three products, we determined we were definitely sending for the refund of all three (5 pieces) items. We sent all information to Cashback America as instructed on Feb. 28, 2006. It was to take 6 to 8 weeks for the refund check to arrive. It is now July 28, 2006 and we have not received the check. We have a Certified Mail Receipt indicating they received the information on March 3, 2006. Greentree can pick their trashy products up at any time. We haven't used them for more than two years. We want the money back as they promised.
Both of us ended up having serious back problems, Mrs. H had to roll out on the floor and then attempt to climb up on the side of the bed to get on her feet. We both had to go to the chiropractor for months and months. Our heart medicine had to be adjusted for almost the whole year. As soon as we quit using the Greentree products, we started to feel better. We are both retired but spent $1460.68 we really didn't have because of their promises of benefit from their product. It only made our conditions worse. They promised all we had to do was follow their instructions and we would receive our money back. They have not fullfilled their promise.

In the agreement we were to receive up to 100%of the amount shown on the face of the check if we sent the proper papers by certified mail 35 months after purchase to United States Administrative Services Company. The amount of the check was $1357.88. We sent the papers as directed to the United States Administrative Services Company, 18950 U.S. Highway 441 #306, Mt. Dora, Florida 32757. They received them Feb. 2,2006 By certified mail. It was through Cashback America.
We have contacted both Cashback America and United States Administrative Services several times and just get the run around. Two people told us that our claim was processed April 7, 2006 and we would be receiving a check. We called April 28,2006 and a woman at Cashback America said that the last of the April 7th checks were mailed that day. It is now May 8th and we still have no check. The people at United States Administrative Services are not returning our calls anymore. No one has ever given us any specific information as to what is going on or how much we will receive. We keep getting answers like an unusual amount of claims or they've had people off sick at the office. Cashback America's address is 5449 South Semoran Blvd, Suite 20, Orlando, Florida. Phone 1-407-658-8404 They say United States Administrative Servies handle the claims. Their phone is 1-352357-4731. We are very upset with this situation. It has been over 3 months and we feel that is enough time to get something done.
Charles of Troy OH (02/07/06) Attended a promotional dinner for Magnetic therapy products on Feburary 26 2004, at which time we purchased a King size Magnetic Mattress Pad and Magnetic Seat Cushion Special. We paid for these items by credit card that same day. We recieved the items in late April. Our concern now is the refund of our purchase according to the Cashback Voucher. A letter from United States Administrative Services, Inc. tells us that monies were never recieved to honor these vouchers and that makes them void. We have tried to call Greentree with no luck. Phone has been disconnected. Another incident of senior citizen abuse.
Ann of Aiken SC (07/21/05) We were sold a mattress pad through a direct sale seminar. The company never has delivered our pad and has taken more than the original amount agreed on siting a clause in the contract that it would cost more if not paid in full by credit card.
We have lost over $1150.
Jeanette of Statesboro GA (02/25/05) I purchased a Magnetic Mattress Pad on 2/17/04 at a supper program in Statesboro, Georgia but as of 2/25/05 I have received only the free items which consisted of a free pillow and ladies shoe insoles.
This is a lot of money for me to lose. I am retired and on a fixed income and money is important.
Frances Tidball of Glen Mills PA (02/24/05) I went to a dinner/demonstration on 9/30/04 in Concordville, PA and purchased a magnetic mattress pad from Jack Wilson, a rep for Greentree for $898 + 53.88 tax. He said delivery was a little slower than usual. It would take 10-12 weeks. I have made many calls. They kept saying I should receive it shortly. Now their phone number is disconnected.
Economic damage is loss of $951.88.

I made a purchase thru Greentree Health Systems thru a seminar and free dinner at Whitehouse Inn in Whitehouse, Ohio. At the time of purchase we were told that if we followed all the terms and rebate rules we would be able to receive all our money back for the purchase. But we had to buy that evening. The UPS man delivered a heavy package to my door sometime in September 2004. Three days earlier, I had cancelled the product after waiting almost five months. At that time I talked to Dominique at ext. 204 and she said that would be no problem. The package that was delivered was a magnetic mattress pad. It was very heavy. Approximately eighty pounds. I met the UPS delivery man at the door at delivery and signed a little computer screen with a plastic pencil. I even helped the UPS man put it back in the truck. I don't remember any paper work left.
I am going nuts trying to prove that the item was sent back to sender. There was another package that was delivered a few days later and I again sent it back to the same sender. I believe it must have been the magnetic pillow cases. I never got a chance to look inside. It never made it into the house as I again was there when it was delivered. I had sent one parcel back certified to the same sender after I had cancelled the order. This item I received three months after purchase. It was two seat cushions. The purchase was in May of 2004. I have had the credit card company and my lawyer on the case for quite a while. No one from Greentree will return my calls.
The seller and the credit card company are still debating over whether or not I had the product or I had shipped it back. UPS can't help me either as far as tracking the returned product because I do not have the tracking numbers. They have all products and all of my money. The total was $1499.36 including shipping and tax.
