The Manager GG was mistakenly ridiculed on my email page through AI generated corrections response. Anyways I've had the Greatest experience doing business with RAC and g gig, that's been overly gracious by allowing me a extra couple weeks to pay my bill, I thank you guys... Miss ** you are a real gem. Thank you for making me keep my word. Only if I'd have been two years earlier... The store is in Panama City, Florida on 15 Street.... Thank you, guys. See you soon.

John & Kenney were fantastic. Got me set up in about 10 minutes tops for a complete bedroom set. Their customer service skills are above expectations. Do not hesitate to get started.

Absolute ridiculous service! The amount of excuses they cannot get a tv into an apartment? How pathetic!!! So how did the rest of the furniture get in the is twice the size of the tv!!!! Absolute pathetic service! And the "assist manager" has a super big attitude!!! I would like someone to contact me please, someone who does not have an attitude and can solve this and then I must wait days for a refund! Ridiculous!!!

I rented a computer about five or six months ago, and it broke down approximately 17 days ago. I requested support, they came but didn't take the computer, said they would return the next day, and they didn't, so I had to take the computer to the store myself. I messaged the technician, and he was very helpful, but then there were complaints because I pay for insurance for this computer, and the company guidelines state that if you pay for insurance, you are entitled to it.
So he said he's not going to fix the computer and he's not going to bring me another one, and I'll have to keep paying. I've already sent messages to the store and other providers, and so far, nothing. I need to resolve my issue, so I'm very disappointed as a customer and will not recommend them to anyone after this situation. It's been over 17 days, and I still haven't received a response. I'm simply very disappointed. Don't trust this store.

Very poor customer service. Nearly threatening language like "It would be in your best interest to." Collection tactics teetering on the edge of being illegal. Especially if there are no trespassing signs in the yard and no soliciting signs. Our county has an ordinance that specifically says if there is A sign that says no soliciting and no trespassing they are not to knock on the door.... period.

Bad Behavior on workers and Management. Overpriced items just to make Commission for themselves. Don't want to work any thing out when you lose your Job. They keep showing up at your door. Find a lawyer and you can sue them for Harassment Charges.

The new manager at this store is very rude and does not have good customer service skills at all. Please don’t go to this store, they are very unprofessional. I was 2 days late, which I pay my bill all the time. They came to my house banging on my door hard which made my neighbor think someone was breaking in. She called me and told me they was ringing my bell a lot and banging on my door, screaming my name out, calling reference, talking about they about to put me out just lying, they treated me as if I don’t pay my bill. Woke my neighbor's sick mom up off, put her to sleep. Please don’t shop at this store, my neighbor calls me like why everytime I get paid, I pay my bill. DON’T SHOP HERE!!!!!

I am writing to express my profound bewilderment and frustration regarding a recent financial transaction with Rent-A-Center. On March 6, 2026, my refund, initially valued at a modest $129.32, was inexplicably canceled by the company. Seeking immediate clarification, I contacted Rent-A-Center to understand the rationale behind this cancellation. The lack of transparency has left me feeling disoriented and thoroughly confused as to why a business would choose to void a refund that was rightfully issued.
Further compounding my concern, an additional five business days have now elapsed since the cancellation of a more substantial refund, amounting to $129.32. This significant sum was intended to be deposited into my bank account following my decision to cancel a furniture order with Rent-A-Center. The absence of this reimbursement has intensified my feelings of uncertainty, confusion, and a sense of being misled.
During my recent interaction with the establishment, I was informed that I would need to endure an additional 14-day waiting period for the refund to be processed. Today marks the second day of this extended delay, and still, the funds have not materialized in my bank account. This ongoing situation has led me to believe I am being subjected to a deliberate runaround, as I am not receiving the refund that I was assured would be processed five days ago

I’m been dealing with Rent-A-Center for the past 20 years. Never had a problem. I brought a mattress that takes 4 to 24 hours to inflate. It was damage. They told me they don’t take mattress back. They was going to bring me another. The day they came was 4 pm. They wanted to take the mattress back and leave a new one. I go to sleep early. Never had a problem. No communication. The lie to us. I would never go there ever again. Is the one on 625 Wolcott St Waterbury. The manager Lloyd ** is terrible.

I am done with Rent-A-Center in Hickory off Hwy 70. I tried my best to explain to that woman Amy about something that someone stole off my property couple days ago. I tried get the report from the cop. They told me Rent-A-Center has to go get the report and all that woman could say is it’s my responsibility which I understand I have to pay it off cause the deputy explained that to me. That's not a problem. Will be paid for but I explained to her at Rent-A-Center in Hickory that the deputy I called today told me y'all have to get the report. I can't cause y'all are the victims. Then I explained to that guy other day that I am going to be in the hospital Thursday for my surgery then they taking my gallbladder out. He said he understood but the woman called me about the report a while ago. Said she didn't care about me being in the hospital. Come to her office. I can't my gallbladder.
Then she said, "I been a manager for my whole life. I don't care what the deputy told you on the phone. You do as you're told. You're responsible to get the report and pay on it." Then I said, "How can I get the papers when they told me you're the victim?" Rent-A-Center has to come get it not me. Then she got hateful with me. Said, "Listen to me. I know more." That’s when I told her, "Look lady I am trying explain everything they told me for you all to go get the report. How hard is that? Like I can’t go anywhere. I am having surgery. Get off your butt."
She hung up on me. So don’t go to Rent-A-Center in Hickory Hwy 70. Amy is crappy rude. Doesn’t care if you're having surgery. Yelling at me even when I called the deputy back she said that was ugly of her. Told me give them Rent-A-Center number so the deputy can call Amy herself since they got hateful, didn’t want to listen to me, explain even was ugly about me having surgery. She needs lose her job. It’s not like I ain’t gonna pay for the items. You still didn’t have to be mean ugly claiming to be a manager when the guy is the manager. What is wrong with people nowadays?

I have been waiting a long time to write this review so hear it goes. I had rented a computer from this organization. It was working fine for a few months. It stopped working all of a sudden. I take it into the store I was renting from at the time and they said they will send it in for repairs. I get a call that it's ready for pickup. I go in the store and try it out, it was having the same issues. They send it back for repairs. I get a call the second time that it's back in the store. I go the second time, same issues and they send it back. I get a call for the third time, and you guessed it, it didn't work again. This happened multiple times. I was tired of playing these games with them so I decided to save up my money and purchase a brand new computer from Best Buy. Purchased the Best Buy computer almost six years ago and it still works fine. Moral of the story: Avoid ANY RAC location in the entire world.

If I could give minus stars I would! I got living room furniture, reclining couch and loveseat from the Crafton, PA store. A few days after receiving the furniture my husband noticed that the couch had a been torn and sewed back together. I immediately called the store and spoke with the manager Randy. He advised he would schedule one of his staff to come out to look at the couch. That took almost a month and several calls. After it was looked at Randy advised me he could order just that piece for replacement, I agreed.
6 weeks went by with no replacement so I one again called. I was told that he was unable to get the piece and he will swap out the furniture with a different set. That I would not need to make anymore payments and what I did pay would be applied to the new furniture, I agreed. The set I picked had to be special ordered and I was told it would take 2 to 4 weeks to come in. He stated I can keep the current furniture without payment until the new stuff is delivered.
Another 3 weeks went by so I called for an update just to find out the set I picked out was never ordered. I called customer service and escalated it to the district manager. She was very nice and apologized for the way the situation was handled. I advised her I am done with RAC due to the poor customer service and the couch was now ripping more. My husband and I ended up going to a furniture store and buying a new reclining living room set. My husband received some back pay and it was significant payment. If the situation was handled properly the furniture I had from RAC would of been paid off. Instead they lost a sale and a customer. I have spoken to the district manager regarding a full refund of what I paid toward the furniture. She stated I will receive a full refund within two weeks. Hopefully she is good to her word. Due to this situation I will never use RAC again.

I have tried since July rent from my local Rent A Center. Even though I have been approved and rent within my budget the women there cancel my orders and refuse rental to me. I have never rented from there before. So there is no reason at all for them to deny me. When I do speak to them they are very short, rude and hateful to me. They leave me in tears. I called another rent a center but I'm not in their delivery area. But the girl did tell me that the other store is franchised and they get to pick and choose who they deliver to. This is all so unfair to me because I am in desperate need of a washer and dryer. So they are discriminating me and there is no reason for it. Someone please help. Because customer service laughed at me when I told them that they the store had left me in tears.

This company should be illegal. They are a huge rip off over charging for crappy, used furniture. If you are late with a phone call to let them know, they harassed my landlord, my mom, and ofc me at work. I paid them but returning their crap. Don’t get involved with this company, trust me!

In December on 12/8 I called in to make a payment and at that time requested the items be picked up as I was moving out. They were being returned to the store and therefore only a partial payment was authorized and acceptable. Your store employees scheduled pick up for 12/16 as that was the soonest available and prior to the 12/20 move out date. Upon arrival I questioned why a full payment was taken and he said he wasn’t sure and would address it when he returned to the store. I called in and spoke to him again this month and he now says “ well it’s been over a month I can’t do anything about it now”. Absolutely NOT. I asked for the corporate contact information he says well let me see what I can do and I’ll get back to you. It has now been over two weeks with no communication and no return of the 2 week overcharge. I’m glad to have switched stores now and have had no issues since

I have been a customer for years and have never even been late on a payment. I recently sent a computer back that I never used. I was told they would credit me some of what I paid. Well, as before they did not. When I called they said… oh that will be applied at the end of year payments. This happened once before and I never saw a cent of it. I will probably go with someone else next time.

Williston North Dakota RAC is unprofessional and decided since I returned item they said I can’t rent from any other location. When was delivered I had to hook up and put in house as they were unable to common sense really is not so common. When picking up they were mad cause I my self moved inside but their two staff could not even do it and then left hookup from washer unhooked and left incorrectly causing hundreds in water damage. I would go to Aaron’s are a trustworthy company. The manager here is not doing your business well.

I had the worse experience with Rent-A-Center. First of all they false advertise by saying you can pay $10 for the first week which wasn't true. Still had to pay more money before I can pick up my item which wasn't told to me before I filled everything out and paid but that wasn't the biggest problem!!!! I called the store that the agent online told me to call where he put the order and the manager (well he told me he was the manager and turned out he wasn't) told me he was gonna send me everything on my email to fill out and they would have my item ready to be picked up today. (Mind you I live in Texas and was trying to get a generator before the big storm just in case the lights got knocked out).
After they verified everything so I called back today and the actual manager told me that their store wasn't in my area so I had to go through the store that was closest to me. (Mind you the online agent had my address and put my order to that store). So I called the store close to me just for them to tell me they were out of generators. They got rid of the last ones the day before. Really!!!! I was so mad. Wasted 2 whole day because of their screw up and so now I stayed stuck without a generator (hopefully the light don't go out). I wouldn't recommend Rent-A-Center to anyone. So unorganized!!!! Very unsatisfied.
