We bought our Martha Stewart Amelia Island Patio Furniture May 2008, today 6.4.08, I came home to find the table top glass shattered into a million pieces for no reason. I did some research and stumbled upon your site and found people with the same problem with the Martha Steward brand!

At least another 300 to replace the glass, I used to work for a glass company and know its not cheap o replace it.

I bought a Martha Stewart Patio furniture table with 5 chairs and a lazy susan. Today, my 4 year old came to me and said mommy, a lot of ice fell on the table outside. I went out to see what she was talking about and to my disbelief, the entire glass tabletop is absolutely shattered into a million pieces on my patio for no apparent reason. No unusual weather, nor anything falling from above to shatter the glass. We were sitting at the table about an hour prior to this happening. Thank God we were inside when it shattered.

My Martha Stewart Victoria Collection (purchased at K Mart in 2005) patio table shattered out of the blue. It has ruined my deck. The glass is embedded.

Now I am looking at spending 200-300 just to replace the table. Then it won't even match because K Mart quit selling that certain style. My deck has shards of glass embedded in the cracks of the decking boards. The deck will have to be taken apart to ever get them out.

Mat of North Canton, OH June 2, 2008

Mat of North Canton OH (06/02/08)
I have replaced the top on my Martha Stewart outdoor glass table with 4 tops and all 4 have shattered. First the table shattered in July of 2005 about 3 weeks after purchase, purchased a replacement as it matched the rest of the furniture thinking it was a fluke and was just ours. The replacement shattered in Septemeber of that year, and they sent 2 replacement tops, that arrived in mid-november of that year. The first replacement lasted until late summer 2006, and now finally the 4th top has shattered in June 2008. They need to accept the fact they a horrible product and give a refund to all the customers.

199 for each table--398+tax several hours of cleaning and changing the tops of these tables, minor cuts to hands during cleaning and getting the old glass out of the table
