I have replaced the top on my Martha Stewart outdoor glass table with 4 tops and all 4 have shattered. First the table shattered in July of 2005 about 3 weeks after purchase, purchased a replacement as it matched the rest of the furniture thinking it was a fluke and was just ours. The replacement shattered in Septemeber of that year, and they sent 2 replacement tops, that arrived in mid-november of that year. The first replacement lasted until late summer 2006, and now finally the 4th top has shattered in June 2008. They need to accept the fact they a horrible product and give a refund to all the customers.

199 for each table--398+tax several hours of cleaning and changing the tops of these tables, minor cuts to hands during cleaning and getting the old glass out of the table

I came home Friday night May 30th to find my Martha Stewart glass top table had smashed into a million pieces. There had been no one home all day and it appeard as if smashed on its own. After finding out about the issues with the MS sets, all appeared to be just like my case. No one home, as if something fell from the sky.

Bazillion shards of glass everywhere. On top of the deck, underneath the deck. My dog frequently goes under the deck, which is only a crawl space. It is going to be very difficult to clean that mess up.

Purchased the Melrose table and chair set and we were using it for the very first time today for a graduation party. While people were sitting at the table it just exploded into a million pieces. A young girl was cut on the leg and another woman was cut on her foot. Glass everywhere--it sure did ruin the party. I thought it was just a freak accident. I was surprised when I found the web site with 73 pages of complaints with the Marta Stewart products and am shocked that it has not been recalled.

We paid 400 dollars for this set to be used only once.
