Nathaniel of Jericho NY (06/20/08) On the night of 6/19/08 I entered this store to order at approx. 10:45 pm. There was already someone standing at the counter and two workers behind the counter. I stood and waited to be served, and while waiting the woman who was there already stated to me that she had been standing there for at least seven minutes with no one acknowledging her or even asking her to please hold on.
This restaurant will often close the dinning area at 10:30 pm and tell anyone who comes to the door that they must go to the drive thru. If the dinning area does not close until 11:00 pm why does this happen. I and others work either next door or close by and walk there. At that time of night the service is very poor and with a Wendy's and Burger King right close by also the inconvenience of having to cross Jericho Turnpike becomes less. I will be interested to see if this is even answered.
I will most likely spend my money elsewhere. Rhea of Hope Mills, NC June 15, 2008
Rhea of Hope Mills NC (06/15/08) I went there in the morning for a # 10 or 14. The steak , egg and cheese bagel and a mc skillet burrito. I get all the way home they gave me a sausage mc muffin. So I went back and I asked for the steak bagel. They gave it to me with no problems.
So, I get back home again and I start eating the hashbrowns and bagel then all of a sudden a funky smell overwhelmed a taste that I got in my mouth from the food. It smelled and tasted like cleaner. Immediately after I ate it. I got sick. I saved the puke and the food. I can't even bring myself to eat the burrito in fear that the cleaner is on that too because there potatoes on that as well. I think it may have been on the hashbrowns. I froze the food to preserve it and the puke for proof....
Sick and poisoned and right now. Light headed. No food poisoning yet but give it time. probably will take time to have that set in. Wasted my gas going there twice. From a gas guzzling car and a wasted my 7.56 cents that I spent to eat something! Now I lost my appetite and I sure in heck will never going to McDonalds there again. Maybe somewhere else but not at that location anymore. How they got an A 101 on that place is beyond me! Miriam of Salt Lake City, UT June 14, 2008
Miriam of Salt Lake City UT (06/14/08) On my recent vacation to Europe, I and my 2 kids (6 and 8) drove for 4 hours from Switzerland to the Frankfurt airport to pick up my parents. After waiting for three hours with no luck in finding them we drove to downtown Frankfurt to satisfy our severe hunger. At 10:00 pm that night we searched the unknown city for a familiar food place, mostly for my 8 year old who has a wheat intolerence. What a relief to find a McDonalds.
After standing in line for 15 min, I ordered a bunch of things of which the last thing was a cheese burger without the bun. I know the confused look he gave me wasn't due to my language skills since German is my native toungue. It's a familiar look I get when I order in the USA as well. He asked his supervisor about this and she refused to satisfy my request. She rudely replied I could take off the buns myself. With his disease, however, no food can touch wheat or it's contaminated. After telling her so she said she had never heard of such a thing and still refused to give me the patty. I told her how easy it is to have my request met in the USA. She came as far as bringing a piece of meat on a paper and asking if this is what I wanted. I told her that was right but to top of the tasteless meat with cheese, ketchup and onions. At this point she totally refused my order, took the patty away, and kept on saying no. I told her to tell my 8 year old that she wouldn't give him any food. Nothing helped at that point and I left swearing, crying and hungry.
My son was left to satisfy his hunger by eating left over chips in the car that night. For the rest of the vacation spent in Europe, everytime I had a relaxing minute, I had to think of how unjust and unfair McDonald's was to my already food suffering son. Mary of Chatsworth, GA June 12, 2008
Mary of Chatsworth GA (06/12/08) Time was 5:45 pm on 6/11/08. Establishment was filthy. Flies were swarming (literally hundreds in building). You couldn't eat because flies were getting in your face. They literally were everywhere you looked. (ceiling, walls, tables). Also, customers were left unattended while guys left the front counter to sit with their friends. THIS RESTAURANT HAS REALLY CHANGED LATELY!
None, other than you didn't want to go back there again. Tiffany of Virginia Beach, VA June 12, 2008
Tiffany of Virginia Beach VA (06/12/08) I ordered two of their apple pies. After almost finishing one of the pies. I noticed what appeared to be a burned piece of pie. So I went to take it off, but upon looking directly at it, I saw it was not a burned flake, but a bug. I also felt something string like inside my mouth, and reached inside my mouth and found a bug leg. I was totally disgusted, especially because I am not sure how many bugs I had already eaten.
