I contacted Tax One around, I believe, February of this year. They returned my calls and paid my 295 dollar fee. I've been trying to contact Patrick ** for 2 months. Just now, I tried to contact him and Tax One Solutions but their phone numbers are disconnected. I want my money back so I can hire a private attorney to get this issue resolved. I sought tax help and a representative set up an account along with my bank account routing number to pay by payments. I was told I will be contacted by an accountant. Two weeks went by and I became worried so I finally called to check on my status. I talked to Mike ***, manager and he informed me that the cost and payment plan that the representative set up for me was wrong by her part and that they could not handle our case at that price. I could not afford the new price estimate Mike gave me to get our tax case started and since I was set up for a payment plan to be taken out of my bank account, I informed him of my concern for that and he assured me that since they could not handle my case that no charges were going to be charged to me.
I just received my bank statement and they charged me for two payments. I called him regarding this issue and he told me that I did not make it clear to him to stop payments. He did agree to refund one payment but that he really did not have to and since hours of work went into my case that he will not refund the other payment and I asked him what work since they could not handle my case on the price given to me by the representative to begin with and he did not answer me. I was told by the representative after completing our agreement along with my personal financial information that I would be contacted within a couple of days. Well almost two weeks went by without a word from them before I finally called. I suppose if I never called to check, they would have just kept on charging me even though they did not proceed on my case, which was because on behalf of error on their employees.
