Consumer Complaints & Reviews

The Premier Savings called me on 4/14/11 and offered to me the lowest interest rate to 7%. They told me that they will send me paper to fill up for other credit cards. Up to now, I haven't received anything from them and I have no any lower interest rate on my credit card that I provided to them. I tried to contact them but I was unsuccessful. Finally, I called my credit card to investigate and I requested credit refund. How come there are so many complaints on websites about Premier Savings but they still have a license for this business? Can anyone answer my question?

As many consumers have reported, Premier Savings contacted me in August of 2010 with the promise of helping to build my credit and lower credit card bills. They took three minutes to take payment from my account while advising me of upcoming information that would help the process along. After receiving the information which included filling out all of my credit card information pertaining to other accounts, Premier savings never returned any of my calls. When I finally reached someone from the company they gave me a number to call requesting a credit card that would be used to consolidate by bills. No one from the other company contacted me, and within a few days I received a letter stating that I had been rejected.

Upon getting this information I called Premier Savings again and was told that I would receive a refund minus the percentage that they would take out for their services. I was told that a refund would be mailed out within thirty days. After not receiving my refund I again called the company which the computer always answer and takes your number for someone to call back. Someone called back and told me that I would receive my refund in April of 2011. After that date I began to call again. This is now June 23, 2011 and I haven't received my money or can reach anyone in the company.

I, like the others, am very interested in lowering my interest rates on cc. They were not able to help me so they told me to apply for Discover Card which I did. When I was declined by Discover, they asked I mail a copy, so I did. They received this letter on March 7, 2011 and said my refund would be here by the 20th. Today is May 5th and no refund. Every time I call, I get the run around. This is not a good and fair company. They just want to scam you.

Premier Savings called me with a plan to get me out of debt. Yes, it sounded too good to be true and it was. I authorized them to charge two of my credit cards totaling around $500.00. They charged one of the cards $202.00. Thank God the other card was maxed out and they couldn't charge it. I faxed them all of my information and they said that they would get back to me with the best consolidation plan for my situation within 5 business days. Well, it's been over 10. And on the numerous times that I've attempted to call them, I've been given the runaround and lots of promised call backs. I'm still waiting! I can't believe that I fell for this, how embarrassing. I'm a single mother who gets no child support and every day is a struggle. How dare this company do this! And why are they still in business? Is there anything that I can do to get my $202.00 back?

I am writing this because it seems no one ever gets online to write about good experiences they have with companies. They only want to complain about the bad things that have happened to them. First of all, I'm tired of people referring to this company as a scam or scheme, or even that they commit fraud. This is all untrue. Think about it. A company that has been in business for over 12 years is not going to be in business for that long by running around, ripping people off.

Second of all, half the people on here have not even signed up for the services. They are just looking to complain and they really have no clue what they are talking about. There are people out there who are seriously drowning in debt and it is a huge problem for them. When they see the said complaints, it keeps them from taking the steps they need to take to get their finances under control again.

It's horrible to hear some of the stories and to listen to how these people got themselves into debt in the first place. Think about it. Life throws unexpected situations at us all the time. Some of us have to rely on credit cards for expenses when we don't exactly have the cash on hand. It definitely makes it even harder when your credit card company wants to charge you 17%, 20%, or 29% to pay it back. On minimum payments with interest rates that high, you will pay back anything you borrowed twice at least. Do the math. If a company is offering you a way to help yourself, are you going to do it? Yes you are.

Now let me explain to you how this is not a scam. There are laws to protect you. You are federally protected when you use a credit card. Any credit, as the consumer you are protected. Any charge you did not authorize on your card, you are not liable. Credit cards are actually one of the safest ways to conduct any financial transaction. Everything is tracked and documented. You receive statements every month proving that. Misrepresentation - that's another law that protects you. A company cannot tell you they are going to do something for you and not follow through with it, especially if they have charged your credit card. If that was even possible, everybody would be doing it all the time. Again, this company has been in business for years. Think about it.

I received a call from Premier Savings and they promised to get me a loan to consolidate all my credit cards into one with a lower rate of 9% with a $499.00 fee. I really want to do it because all my loans and cars run around 24% and I told them that I did not have the kind of money and she told me that she could do it for $100 and the other $400 will be added to the loan. I said of course, but I did not have $100 either. I ask her what would happen with the money if I was not approved and she did not answer me but just told me that it was a sure thing and I did not have any problems so it will be approved as long I did not have any late collections but I could never got an answer on my money back.

I got the money transfer to my credit card to do the transaction and when I call them an operator would answer the phone, I called several times and it was the same thing. They were always helping other costumers, somebody will call me back, and they did every time. I just couldn't answer the phone and I have to call back and the same thing again. I almost fell for it but I started to feel kind of fishy and my huts keep telling me that something was not right so I decided to look it up and I found all this other people with the same phone calls, same promises and not getting from them. I was glad that I didn't go with them. I'm just worried that I give those 2 of my credit card numbers. Can they charge me for any thing since they have them? I thank all of the other costumers for posting their complaints. It is helping other people. Thank you all again.

Mark offered me a lower interest rate of 7 % to consolidate my credit card account, but as soon as he told me of a fee of $599.00 charge to my existing credit card and that had to be authorized up front, I had second thoughts and cancelled my credit card card with Wells Fargo to avoid their fee. I looked up Premier Savings online and found out about the scam they're up to.

My complaint is so similar to all the others. They talked a good line about how they could help lower the interest rate on all my credit cards and went as far as to set up a payment plan with an amount of money to be sent to a clearinghouse where they would disperse the funds to the credit card companies each month and that I would receive the statement showing the payment had been made. I fell for it hook, line and sinker. They got my money and I couldn't reach them for weeks. And as of September 2, 2010, I still have not heard from them. My husband is furious. Why is this business still open? Especially with numerous complaints about it. They are stealing people's money and no one seems to care enough to launch a full-scale attack. The Obama administration went after Wall Street. They need to go after these crooks, too. We are still in debt with high interest rate credit cards and we're doing the best we can to make ends meet.

the first rep i talked to i was very interested in the 6% interest rate she could get on my cc. she asked questions to determine my eligibility and upon seeing i wanted to do it sounded agitated as if she didnt want to go through it with me. she asked for my highest balance card and the ph# for cust serv. i got one of my department store cards and as she already had an attitude it was increasing. she then asked for a major cc so i got that also at which she again acted like she didnt want to be doing it. without getting the number she came back and said i wasnt qualified which i know i am. i asked for a supe and she started laughing and hu. the number she called from you are not able to call back so i let it go.

next day someone else calls i make sure to get the name of company and their name. he would just give troy. i asked could he see that someone called the day before and he said no. i asked for a supe. he started telling me off and that they dont like dealing with people like me. oh the first person who called got mad because i asked a bunch of questions about the program. i asked troy what i had done and he said i was being an ass. at this i couldnt believe he cursed at me and then when i said i couldnt believe he just cursed at me he hung up. i then took to the internet found their contact number but of course you can only leave msgs. i also tried to sign up online bogus to get them to call me but the sign up site doesnt exist anymore!

I was contacted by a friendly representative who identified herself from Premier Savings and the call was about my credit cards. She went through some quick questions and determined that I qualified for an offer to lower my credit card rates. She asked if a financial advisor or specialist (can't remember the specific title she used) could call me back within 10-15 minutes. I agreed. About five minutes later, I received a call from a man. He didn't even state the name of the company when he contacted me. He immediately went in to his sales pitch and told me that he could get my rate down to 7% and how much money I could save but that I would have to pay $469 today on a visa or mastercard to secure this service. I have a Discover card and he told me that they could not do Discover card charges. At no point in time did he state that they were selling me information on how to obtain this (I only mentioned this because many people have complained about having a package with information on banks and credit cards that offer lower rates).

The deal sounded okay. I currently am at 18.24% with my Discover card so I asked him for the name of the company. He provided me the name and his name (along with the 800- number) and then went back to a full court press demeanor in trying to get my visa debit card number. I informed him that before I signed up for anything that I was going to check the company out and that's when he said something under his breath and hung up on me. What I found odd was during the call that it appeared someone may have been coaching or listening. He made some comments like he was acknowledging some things during the course of the call. Very strange. I researched the company after I hung up and their BBB rating is an "F" and they are not BBB accredited (two huge warning signs). For more information, go to the BBB of AZ. Needless to say, I am very glad I did not give them $469.

I was ripped off. I was offered services that I thought were offered by them and come to find out they did not offer any services. They wanted me to get another card. This was in September. And since the 27th, I have waited for a refund. You can't just call and speak with a person; you must wait for them to call you back. I nearly maxed out my credit card to pay their fee. They didn't tell me that. Bogus. Scam.

Nick called me offering a balance transfer for 9%. He was a smooth talker and everything sounded so perfect. I asked him where the company stood with the BBB and he said they only had 12-16 complaints. After charging a fee for a lifetime service of $439.00 I decided to check into things. Every where I looked on the internet people were talking about how they had been scammed by this company. The very next morning I called to cancel. I was promised that a supervisor would contact me in a matter of hours. The young lady assured me that I had a full 3-day money back policy.

Three days later and after I made numerous call backs, Deb the supervisor finally called me with all kinds of excuses. To make a long story short, she admitted to me the company has an F rating and I would under no circumstance get any of my money back. I told her I would file a dispute and she said go right ahead, there is nothing your credit card company or the BBB can do because I have you on recording. Later another gentleman called me with what he thought was a return call and I asked him about the policy and he told me as a consumer that I have three days to cancel. The last laugh will be on them. BBB took over. Beware of Premiere Savings!

I verbally agreed to sign up for a program that would assist me in paying off my debt at a lower interest rate. When I finally got a call from their rep, I was told that I had to apply for more credit in order to get this type of assistance. Well, I chose not to go with the program and they told me that they could not refund my $439 with this transaction that happened less than 30 days.

I received a call guaranteeing to lower my credit card interest rate. In order to start the program and receive help with reducing my credit card rate, I was asked to send $439 to get started. I was told my $439 would be refunded to me in a couple of days. When I called to say I hadn't received my refund, I was told I would not be getting a refund.

I am a single, 61 year old who just got scammed by Premier Savings. I was told that for $439 they would loan me $4000 at 10% interest to pay off my Chase MC credit card which is 29.9%. I was never told that I could not cancel their services on DAY 4--when I tried because because I had just lost my job of 13 years--they told me I had to cancel by DAY 3. I had not received their information and contract until DAY 4.

I worked with WAMU and they gave me a credit, but Chase Bank took them over and has given my money to Premier Savings. Chase blamed me for giving out my credit card and for not knowing they had a cancel date of DAY 3. After I lost my job I told them that I no longer qualified for a loan because I no longer had an employer or an income. I am heart broken that this company would not refund the monies they had taken from me even though I no longer qualify for their service. Very stressful for me as I suffer from severe asthma and bipolar.

Premier savings offered me a special promotion to get of debt and reducing my debt. I was informed threw the phone that they will reduce my annual percentage rates on my credit cards and save more money, well they took $436.00 on one of my cards with my authorization and they would help but they have done nothing and i call them for a 100% refund and they will not.

The person i spoke to explain to me wrong but i did give them authorization to get the $436.00 from my card and they do have me on recording my phone call were i agree on the authorization of the $436.00 but i dont think they have the recording were the man explains to me on all the information on this program . They say that if 3 banks refuse to help me that they will refund me back only 40%. But i requested 100% refund and explain why but they refuse to. The man i spoke to was Charles Roark and he explained to me at a different manner and thats why i chose to be in this program and yes they have me recorded but they just let me listen to the authorization part were i agree to there terms and they have the authorization to collect the $436.00 dollars.
