Consumer Complaints & Reviews

Parsa Law was to negotiate a loan modification for me from Bank of America. I paid them $2500. The process started only to have it stop abruptly since they were shut down due to James *** losing his license until a legal matter was taken care of for sexual misconduct with a minor.

We paid $2,900.00 for a loan modification. We never got one. We were promised a refund in October 2009. Then they were shut down. Is there any class action toward The Parsa Law Group?

On February 24, 2009, I contacted Parsa Law Group to assist me in the re-modification of my home loan. I initially spoke to Matt T. (Senior Exec. Consultant), who got things started for $2,900.00. I then started speaking to Meliame V. (Processor/Attorney) for several months. She was giving me updates on status until approx. August/Sept. I received no response after a dozen or so attempts through phone and email. I later heard Parsa Law was no longer open.

I started receiving foreclosure notices. I spoke directly to the bank to see if I can re-modify on my own. The bank (Chase) stated they also have been trying to contact Parsa Law regarding my case. Chase stated I needed to make payments and update all paperwork to stop foreclosure proceedings. Chase is currently trying to work with me with the re-modification of the loan. I'm not sure if this will work or not, Parsa Law put me in a bad situation.

In March 2009 we hired Parsa Law Group to represent us with negotiating loan modifications for three houses. They reasurred us that they could do them, absolutely. Now we have wasted over $9,000 and with little to no communications with the lenders. We have forclosed on two of our three houses and around the first of October the prinicpal, John Parsa, was disbarred for sexual misconduct. Is there a class action suit started and if not, there should be on a contingency basis. This attorney took more than our money, probably millions...and have not followed through according to our contract. Please contact me if you have any information about a class action suit or how to initiate one?

We hired Parsa Law Group in Feb. to do a loan mod and bankruptcy, paying them $3450.00 for these services, they had messed up several times on the loan mod., they kept saying our President is changing the rules all the time so it makes it difficult to get these loans processed. We did see some communication between Parsa and GMAC but we kept getting put on these 3 month trial periods.

Then in Sept. GMAC said they did not recieve our payment, so we called Ashley at Parsa, it took 3 days for her to get back to us. She said she talked to GMAC and they found our payment somehow one number was transposed. but they fixed it, according to Ashley. Well then we were calling Parsa to get an update with our loan, no answer. Then about 3 weeks later on the 6th of Oct. the put a notice to Quit on my property.

So then when you call Parsa Law we find there not taking any calls due to having to many clients, which was a [lie] cause I looked him up on the Bar Association to my shock find out he is going to get his liscense suspended on the 16th of Oct. for sexual intercourse with a minor, and other disgusting charges of (moral turpitude analogous) this makes me sick, what I don't understand is why the Bar Association let him continue to take on clients. I need my monies back I'm broke not to say I was just laid off from a job of 8 yrs.

I have never seen such a mess in all my life all of his clients are all over the internet looking for help and there money back. Some are losing there houses because of this Parsa. Can anyone out there help me, I'm begging, I can not afford another Attorney till I get my monies back from this guy. Is there any attornies for Pro-bono to help people, an attorney from the state or something. Something has to be out there to help the consumer. Please lead me in the right direction.

I'm in the process of filing a complaint with the State Bar Association, Attorney Generals Office, plus people are saying to call the FBI in L.A.So far it seems no one has started a class action suit I would be glad to start one but I don't have the funds to pay an attorney to start this. Please help us, I don't know what else I can do. Plus I was just notified they have not (GMAC paid my fire and flood Ins. To boot my husband is disabled he gets SSI which is not much.)

On 5/26/2009, I started a loan modification program with Parsa. After compling with Mark L, asigned attoney, for months and $3200.00 later Mr L calls to let me know the law firm is closing. I tried e-mail and phone calls with no responce. Today I filed a complaint with the attorney general.
