Stephen of Orlando FL (01/22/09) We purchased our dream home in 2005. Our credit was not the best so we decided to get into an adjustable loan since it was the only loan we were able to get. Our bank officer told us that it would not be a problem to refinance into a fix rate in the future. Since then our rate almost doubled into 11.875%. We slowly got behind and was not able to afford our loan no longer. We tried to refinance but our property value was way below on what we owed.
We tried contacting Litton Loan but all they cared about was collecting our money. We did not know what to do, we were losing hope. I was listening to CNN on my way to work and they mentioned company that was able to help homeowners similar to our situation, homesaverprogram. I contacted the company and paid them a fee to assist us. I was a bit skeptical at the beginning but long and behold 3 months into the process, they were able to get us into a fix 50 year loan with a rate of 4.875%. I COULD NOT BELIEVE it to this day.

Dora of Los Banos Ca CA (01/21/09) In October 2008 my loan was sold to Litton loan from popular mortgage. Since then I tried to call Litton and ask them for a loan modification or obtions to safe my home all they say you have no obtions by now I am 4 months behind and fall into forclosure still would not work with me to safe my home it feels like they dont have feelings when you speeck to them
Now I am verry sad for my 2 sons and baby girl my physical status of my hudsband and I are not to good we can sleep at night or focus on our job i cry all the time its not me any more Iwish someone would keep an eye to this bank Debra of South Dartmouth, MA January 19, 2009
Debra of South Dartmouth MA (01/19/09) Litton loan services sent a man to my home in error. He than did 80,000 in damadges. They acnwledged the error and said that they would make good for there error. They are ignorring me now and are not taken care of there mistakes. But if a client of theres were to fall behind on a property they would just take it away from them. HEARTLESS GREEDY NASTY PEOPLE AND they should not be in business
I have had to live in poverty and my family has suffered emmotionally and we were lied to and they still have not sent me money which I have all evidence to there wrong doing and have forced my family to live without. I was placed out of my home and had to live with family due to the harship that litton placed on my family. as a single mother it has been very difficult and the hardest thing to accept is that I have hade to live with my family with their neglegence Exomar of Altadena, CA January 17, 2009
Exomar of Altadena CA (01/17/09) I have a sub-prime loan that is scheduled to adjust every six months. I have never been late on my mortgage and my credit is good. I received a letter from Popular Mortgage stating that my monthly mortgage payment will be increasing on 11/1/08 and if there would be a problem with the increase I need to contact Popular. I immediately called Popular and explained to them that because of the economy I could not afford an increase at this time and I submitted all the required documentation to get a loan modification. Popular sold the loan to Litton Loan Servicing LP and I began the process again I submitted all the paper work and Litton Loan Servicing LP sent me [a] letter.
Litton Loan Servicing states I do not have sufficient income to support a loan modification which would lower my payments instead they raised my monthly payment almost 200.00 dollars. I complained to the Better Business Bureau and this arrogant company did not even respond to the Better Business Bureau. BBB has made several attempts to contact the business regarding the referenced complaint. [They] have not received a response from the company.
I cannot afford the increase in my mortgage payments and it is just a matter of time before I am delinquent and loose my home to foreclosure. I believe it is unfair that the banks get Billions from the government and the homeowner gets absolutely no help. If you can help, please I need it now.

John of Carbondale CO (01/15/09) i have been trying to modify my loan with litton since oct of 08,sneding them the required letters etc. after about a month i was required to fax some more info. to this day they will never answer thier phone, or return my calls when i am able to leave a message, guess i have been flagged by them. wow what a way to do business is this company for real and how come the news or gov't hasn't exposed these people yet? i am not even able to make my pay by phone monthly mortg. payment as this time since when i call and enter my loan # i am directed to an extension that is not available.
my biggest frustration is not being able to talk to anyone and finding out how the modification is progressing. i guess as long as they keep bleeding me to get there monthly payment they aren't willing to modify to a reasonable interest rate. i have expressed my feeling that they want me to go into forclosure before they will talk to me which they had denied saying we don't want you're house.
