Consumer Complaints about Litton

Litton Loan is the worst Company I have death with. When I first purchase the house the mortgage company was not Litton Loan. After about a year I received notification that my loan was sold to Litton and I should make my payments to them. Fist of all how did Litton get my loan I was not behind on payments?

From then on it has been nothing but hell. Once you fall behind on payments for a couple of months they will not accept any payments, if you send a payment in via mail or western union like I did they send it back. The only option I had was to file Chapter 13 to save my home. His company is a SCAM and need to be investigated and shut down.

Same boat as everyone else-rate adjusted and continiues to adjust. Finally received a loan modification and they snuck in a balloon payment- so after 30 years of paying 2,200 a month, a balloon amortization over 30 years will still leave me owing 285,000 (at the end of 30 years). The houses in my neighborhood are currently selling for that amount.

Best wishes to everyone and watch out! The only way to determine the balloon was to use mortgage loan calculation software. Litton, surely wasn't going to spell out how much the balloon payment was.

I'm moving out! Lost 40K in down payment, but the alternative is to start over at the original price the house sold for.

I have tried many times to call this company I requested a loan modification Nov 18 2008 All they have done is charge me for a drive by appraisal!! I'm over 3 months behind and they continue to add fees and charges. I called the HOPE line -what a waste of goverment money!! This loan was at a rate of almost 10% and I was pressured into doing it my the loan officer My house was valued at 90,000 at the time they gave me a loan for 125,000 and kept 20,000 Now this house is only worth 60,000 This company is a rip off!

I will be homeless Why do they refuse to help us homeowners stay in these overpriced homes? Noone will buy it for 125,000 or even 60,000 !

Country wide sold my loan to Litton in 3-2006. I have been in an ongoing fight with them since day one. I could not get a loan # for 90 days, my AllState agent could not get his insurance payment from them. On the forth month they raise my payment 114.00 for escrow (same amount as PMI) I call and asked why....no reason could be found...was instructed to continue with the standard payment amount. that started 22 months of harrassment, threats of foreclosure and a trashing of my credit. (not one payment was late)

Dec 08 I had had enough and told them I was not going to pay them and they could have this house as I hated it as much as I did them. A manager said to give him 3 days to look into it. he did and found that it was a one time PMI payment they had mistakenly added on that 4th months statement and he would take care of all the late fees(3000) and fix my credit........well after a year I'm ready to give them this house again. They have not fix my credit and I can't refi with 22 late house payment on my CR. I too have faxed. called sent letters kept records to no avail. I would rather rent than to put up with more of there greif. If any one would like to fight with them please let me know. I think they should be investigated. and put out of business

Due to my trashed credit rating my home owners ins. doubled and I could not get a lower car ins. I have lost 4 refi applications due to the 22 months of false late house payments still on my CR
