I was referred by Paramount Equity Mortgage to Green Credit to get a loan modification in Jan. 2009. I emailed the application by Paramount. I typed the application and emailed back to Paramount. I was told it would cost $3,500.00. The money was taken out of my checking account. I was unable to get any information about what was being done to get my loan modified. This went on for months.
When I finally got a hold of a Hector **, I was so upset that I told him I want my money back. He told me he would see what he could do to get my loan modified. Finally, after another month, I finally asked for a refund of my money. He said because of the contract I would only get $1,000.00 back, but I had to get my refund back from Paramount Equity! I did not understand why I would have to go to Paramount. I contacted Paramount, who looked into the situation at Green Credit and found out that nothing had been done to get me the loan modification and that I did not quality for the modification.
It took 9 months to come to this conclusion. Paramount was willing to give the $1,000.00 if I signed a Settlement Agreement. I refused to sign the agreement as I never had a contract with Paramount. I later found out why Paramount wanted me to sign the agreement. The State Bar seized all the paper work from Green Credit and asked if I wanted copies. I received the copies and found out that Paramount forged our signatures on the Green Credit application, they also change some financial information.
I am really upset that Paramount is still doing business. I am upset with Green Credit for ripping us off, but Paramount should have been doing the fiduciary duty to us. Can some one get Paramount. I am taking legal action, but want to know why they still have a broker license after all they have done to their customer. I have a time line of events the contract we signed and numerous emails for both parties. Please call if you would like to have copies of what I have.
