My husband and I filed a complaint about 6 years ago with the Virginia Consumer Affairs. We were told that a lawsuit had been filed with Financing Alternatives. Several complaints had come in about this company for advertising computers set up on a payment plan by the company, company never providing the computers to the consumers. I was one of the victims who never received my computer and had payments drawn out of my bank account.

Financing Alternatives took my down payment for a computer in 2005, from my checking account. I then even paid $71.98 activation fee, then they started taking more money than I authorized them to take. So, I closed my account and stopped paying them. They have over five dollars of my money, and I want to know. I have all off my paper work that they sent me. What can I do? Or is it too late to do anything?

I bought and paid for a computer through them. It was paid in full but I never did receive my merchandise or my money back--about $1,600 worth. Plus, they were supposed to send a digital camera and printer with my order. I would like to get my money or merchandise because it has been long enough. I made my last payment on February of 2007-2008 for $265.00. When I called them, they said that they have received my payment and that they would send my stuff; but that never happened at all.

On June 13,2003, I set up payments for a dell Inspiron 1100 laptop to be shipped to my house. I didn't receive the computer for one year. In the mean time, Financing Alternatives duped me into making payment at $146.88 every two weeks. I was told initially that I would only make 12 payments twice a month,(monthly $293.76) a total of $1762.56.The six months had passed and Financing Alternatives was still deducting for an additional 6 months totaling $3,525.12. I had called Financing Alternatives and Carmen said I was misinformed and she could not stop the deductions. Also the deductions would still continue for an additional six months. I was livid and disgusted!

I had no credit history at the time so I figured this would be a great start to build one but with this new information I received from this Financing Alternatives rep, the only thing on my mind was that I was getting ripped off and even worse, scammed.

I sent my consumer complaint form to Virgina's prosecutor in October 10,2007. I haven't received any new information except what I heard on line. Is there anyway to get the money I so rightfully deserve? So many individuals were scammed just like me and I'm getting to the point where it's more about principle than money. I work very hard for my money and I need restitution. If anyone has information on the outcome of this lawsuit filled against Financing Alternatives, please email me. Thank you.

They take $42.50 from my savings account every week, until I fully pay for a computer from them. I ended up paying for a computer that was worth $718.20, and I paid Financing Alternatives $1873.37 for almost a year and a half.

I signed up for a computer they were offering on TV and started making payments. I paid about $975 and I called to just get a TV instead and they told me I had to pay the whole $1400 for a computer and that I cannot switch from a computer to a TV even though it was my money and that I could not get a refund as well.

I paid for a computer that was to come with all the bells and whistle, but instead I got a lot of lies and the run around while still my children had no computer as I had promised them 2 to 3 years ago, because this company decided to take all our money and run when we took the necessary steps to recover our money. All we have received thus far was court dates and rulings that still have not produce my boys a computer or the money back to try and get another. I am not fortune enough to just go out and get one and sit back and wait to see what will become of this company. I need help getting my money back, please!

I was told I would be getting a computer back in 2007 and I never received it. I paid the computer off and never even received a refund after the company went out of business.

I never received my computer or a refund of my money. My checking account was closed and now I owe the bank.

I paid for computer back in November 2007 and never received it. I sent several emails requesting my item or my money and I also tried to called but the number was disconnected. This company took my money that I worked so hard for. I would like to know if there is a way I can get my money back.

I made payments through my bank account and received my sales order but never received the merchandise. Still wondering what happened. Total on the sales order was $1871.48 paid but still no merchandise.

I paid in full for a computer that cost me $1,300. I still got my receipt. They sent me a paper that I had to sign so I can receive my PC. But I never got my computer and that was in 2004, it's now 2010. They still have my money and I want it all back. This company changed their number. Now there is no way I can contact them.

In regard to the above-referenced matter, please know that I opened this account with hopes of getting this television as a birthday gift for my wife. I have tried contacting FA numerous times but without success. I have not received a response. I purchased this TV on March 11, 2006; and wife's birthday is on March 14. I have not been contacted by anyone regarding my refund nor anyone letting me know if this company is still in operation. It was via internet that I was able to find out about this suit. Please know that your immediate attention to this matter will be greatly appreciated.

F.A. began to draft their required 13 consecutive payments towards getting the computer. The 13th payment mysteriously never went through, so they defaulted me to receive shipment 3 months later. At this time, there was a shipping error which would have caused me not to receive my shipment for another month.

At this month's end, I was informed that I had to pay the entire balance before receiving my computer. The balance was paid over a year's time, and I never received the computer till this day. The company ceased calling, and I have no up-to-date contact information as all their numbers were disconnected. So I wound up paying over $2000 for a computer that I did not receive. I want my money back!

I was making payments with this company every two weeks for some time. Then I stopped, being that the checking account used was closed. I was trying to contact them, but the phone number was disconnected or whatever. I am trying to figure out if there is any way I can get my money back.

Financing Alternatives Inc. took over 1,700.00 from me and i never received a computer. They had there phone to ware you were not able to get through.Then when you could the cust.rep.would asure you that you will receive your computer but they were back up or just behind.I pray somehow something is done about this soon.I havent even receive my money back.Please help!

this company sole me a computer two years ago. i have the computer from dell. there is a warrenty on it and it is not woring right but when i called dell to get it fix they told me there is a hold on the computer and they can not fix it. when i asked why they told me that the company i bought it from never took there names off of it and it show they still own the computer. tehy told me to call the company and have them fix this problem but the company dose not no long have a good phone #. what can i do. i payed 2000.00 for this computer

I paid for a computer in full also including the overdraft fees this was about 3 years ago i filied a complaint nothing was done i still did not recieve my computer from 07- 09 almost 2010

I open an account with this complany on 4-7-06 after returning home from the katrinia innew orleans and they set up a bank draft take 155.96 each mounth from my acc , and promise to ship my computer and other merchandise by 10-06 and i called it was on back order still taking my payment each i contract by phone and by email and all i was getting was the run around i met payment in full to complany and they never ever give my order are i been able fine them my friend told me about this site

My cousin by marriage actually recieved a desk top. He recommended using the service, i called Financing Alternatives, opened a account for a lap top for $199.28 a month for a year, paid shipping cost, was given a estimation of 4 to 6 wks finished paying in May of 2007, September 2009 still no laptop no refund.

Spoke to an attorney supposedly handling case recvd 2 updated letters last coming last yr sometime Sept. or Oct. at present time no info. my account was solely with drawn from my account for a yr, i don't understand how someone can just post a legal government authorized computer company on cable/directv and not hold themselves accountable for not delivering a product especially when they were given access to directly withdraw from my account.

I believe i have a viable complaint why not check all transactions in which they recvd a form of income and have him pay all this money back to the people he robbed.

In 2006, I was watching TV when I saw a commercial about purchasing a computer and how I can rebuild my credit. I then in turn called and allowed them to start withdrawing $71.98 from my checking account. I was supposed to receive the computer after 3 payments. But there was a problem in one pay period at work and checks were deposited that week. So, I had to call them to ask if they could hold off for a day. I was told that I would have had to call 3 days in advance. No problem there - I understood.

Then, I was informed that because of that, I would have to start all over again to reestablish credit worthiness. So, my 3 more payments were paid; still, no computer. I allowed this to go on for a total of 15 payments totaling $1,079.70. I had 11 more to go. Then, I was laid off from my job so I called and they explained to me that when I do return to work, I can start my payments again. When I did return to work, I called to resume my payments. I have yet been able to contact these people by phone or via mail. I would like to know what is going on with this company and how I can get my money back.

I paid for the computer but I never received it and was told that if I did not pay another one hundred twenty when I had already paid over one thousand, would not be refundable. Also this would be my 2nd complaint and have not heard anything. The consequence; financial strand and had to purchase another computer.

We got screwed out on $2300 for a computer we never received. We complained before but we never heard from them. We're been waiting for any kind of news but nothing. It's been three years since they took our money. We want justice and my money back.

Back in 2007, I called a number that was announced on television for a computer, no credit needed and they would deduct money from my checking account every 2 weeks and no computer was ever delivered. I see I'm not the only one this has happened to. I've tried getting a hold of the company and I can't seem to find anyone to give me some answers. Please help! That was a lot of money taking out of both my accounts. Financial problems, this was money that could have gone towards my daughter's educations and I'm very upset.

Purchased a computer for 2000.00 dollars and have not receive it.I TRIED ON SEVER4AL occasions to communicate with someone, but was not sucessful.I realize now that I have become a victim of fraud.

Well I was watching television and i saw a comercial on tv that caught my eye and it was advertising brand new Dell computers. so then i call the phone number that i saw on the tv screen, and then i set up an account with FIA, to purchase a brand new computer back on May 13, 2006. FIA told me that they can take my payments out of my savings account and all they would need is the banking information and bank routing number. so i agreed to all the terms that they read to me and my payments were $71.98 every other week. ok they told me if i make 3 consecutive payments that UPS would ship me a brand new dell computer.

well i call them they tell me shipment has been delayed. i was like ok i waited 10 buisiness days they told me the same thing over and over. then i paid the computer in a full payment of 1,871.48.never got my merchandise. so i call them over and over no one answer the phone. it says number is not in service. never will i fall for any scams again like that. you live and you learn. but all i want is my money back. if it is anyone out there that can take care of this situation i appretiate it God Bless.

My understand is that you don't take money from people you if you do something wrong you will eventually get caught. Therefore when you get caught you then have to pay the price. God will take care of the situation.

I order a computer of financing alternatives and my account was paid in full on february 9, 2007 but i still have not recieved my computer. I have a conformation letter stating that all installments had been made on time as agreed and my account was perfect. I paid over 2,000 and i have nothing to show for it. When i called to complain and find out what was going on with my shipment, i was told that it was on back order and would be sent out to me as soon as it came in but i never received anything. When i tried calling back all the phine numbers that i had for the company were no longer in service.

I lost money that could have been used to put towards other things that needed to be paid. The computer was going to be a gift for my to kids but because they took my money and didnt give me anything i was unable to get anything for my kids. I had to save up my money all over again to buy them another computer. Here it is two years later and i just saved up enough money to buy a computer for them. So for two years my children were disappointed because i could not give them the computer that i promised them was on the way.

I order a computer off T.v blue flippo a gree to pay them 78.00 every two weeks from my account when I was working I have pay them over 1,400.00 never recieved or haven herd from them but one time the repeatly ask me to fax in another void check to be able take from bank account.

I told them I wasn't going to send anythings else until I get my computer. I said there no need for me to resend a void check when it was already money was taken from my account the total was 1,746.00 and subtotal 1,871.00. I try to call the company to talk, and there number doesn't exist.

My purchase date is 01/21/2005 for $1,871.48 to be drafted on 2/4/2005, for a total of 26 every other week minimum layaway payments @ $71.98. I later experienced a hardship and could no longer continue drafting payments from my account. On 4/24/2007 I spoke to Linda x325 to resume payments for balance of $503.86, because I was told I could not get a refund. However by this time I requested if I could switch to a 19 dvd/hd lcd tv combo and an invoice to this effect was sent to me.

I have been unemployed since 07/30/08 with financial problem even before that, so until today 3/3/09 that I was not in a position to even think about purchasing anything. I discovered this information purely by accident regarding the lawsuit against Financing Alternatives, Inc, so I am hoping that so relief will be acquired. January of 2007 i started making payments on a computer through Financing Alternatives. They claimed it would be made through Dell and shipped to me after making the first three monthly payments.NEVER HAPPENED. They automatically pulled $150.00 out of my bank account every month from Jan. 07-Sept. 07. That's 1400.00 i do not have to waste. My bank wants to charge me $10.00 hr. and $1.00 per page to provide proof that actually occurede and i do not have the extra money. It's already bad enough i had to pay a $35.00 stop payment fee so they would quit STEALING my money! I have a 2yr. old little girl and fiance to provide for and this company and whoever is involved with them needs to PAY!

After several months of so called shipping delays, different company phone numbers, or trying to make sure there was enough money in our account to pay financing alternatives(because if we did not have enough, the bank would pay them anyway and charge us $185.00 instead of $150.00.) On top of all that i thought it would help build my credit back up. That's one of the main reasons i chose the company. I want my MONEY BACK. It has been two years and I'm still waiting. I will go to court or whatever to get if not all but most of my money back that was STOLEN from me. THANKX.

I saw the commerical about owning a computer, so i called and agreeded that Financing Alternatives could draft 40.99 from my checking account on a weekly basis to established good credit.

What evidentally ended up happening is me being out of 1,800 plus and no computer.

What so ironic and pitiful is that they say they started this business for the less unfortunate and people who couldn't afford to buy a computer and they ended taking money from the same people they said they are in business for.

All I can say is what goes around comes around. God don't like ugly.

I am a single mother of 3 and I needed the computer to further my education. This has caused a great difficulty and hardship to my family. I didn't and don't have that kind of money to throw away. I had to rend a computer from a rental store which cost me more money that i really couldn't affort but I had to do what I could do in order to get this degree.

It would really help out a lot if I could get my money back or at least some of it.

I wanted to try to establish some credit,so i called the number from the commercial for financing alternatives on dell computers. I got the account and gave them my checking account number and they said I had to make so many payments and would get computer.It was suppose to be 3 months,then id continue to have them take out of my account untill paid off.

Months went by and no computer,only to be told each time that they were having shipping difficulties. Finally we closed our account and tried to get the $1073.18 we paid them out of the total cost of $1559.48. They woudnt give us the money or the computer. I thought there was nothing I could do,till I came acrooss our website. After readind I had my wife try to call them but,they said there was no record of me with my name,address and the acount number I have on my papers dosent have enough numbers to it.

My wife tolod them she had monthly statements from the and our bank statements showing they pulled it out and when it would come out next. All this took place in 2006. They have all my personal informaition that could damage the little credit I do have,so im asking for your help in this matter.

i brought a computer from this company i lost a 1000 dollars on this iwould like to have my money back.istarted on february 3 2007.my payments were 199.oo first payment then 155.96 a month.

I started paying for the computer making monthly payments of $103.98 on 8-09-2004. I corresponded with this company on a monthly basis everymonth. I was told that after making 3 consecutive payments that I would be shipped my computer which NEVER DID HAPPEN!! I was given excuse after excuse and still never received our computer. On 5-16-2007 I made the final payment of $95.17. I still never received my computer. My husband and I would call and at times no one would even answer the phone then it came to a point that they would answer and would tell us that they could not give us any information on where our computer was and that they could not guarantee that we would even get our computer and other equipment that we purchased and that NO WE COULD NOT HAVE OUR MONEY BACK!

They even started hanging up on us if we called. When it came time to make the last payment they started having a collection company call our home literally about 15 to 20 times per day to collect that last payment of $95.17. They harrassed us constantly. We told them that we were not going to make that last payment until we received our computer. They told us that if we would just make the payment that they wold ship our computer to us in no less than one week and that never happened.This is not acceptable behavior and we want to be reimbursed the money that we paid in the amount of $1900.00 or we want our computer and other things that were purchased with the computer.

Still to this day (01/08/2009) we have never received our computer or our money back on the computer. We have proof that we paid for the computer IN FULL!!

I ordered a computer in 2005 and I want my money back. the price was $1800.00. After I found the same equipment at Dell for a lesser price, I called FAI and asked for my money back. I have bank statements to prive that they took the money from my account, and email corresponding with them regarding a refund.

My wife saw the ad on TV how we could get a great computer no credit check,just have a bank account. We made the initial payment. In 2006 I orderd a computer from Financing Alternatives. They took $35.00 a week out of my checking account. I paid them a little over $1800.00 for a computer that they never sent me. I have been trying to find out what is going on with the Consumer Affairs Law Suit against this company, but haven't had any luck. I am to the point that i don't even care to get the computer, just want my money back. This has made me skeptical about ordering anything off of the T.V ads now.

I was supposed to get a computer after I made 6 consecutive payments that would build my credit. After I made the payments they were saying that I had missed a payment and I had to start the 6 payment over once I finished paying for the computer they said they were upgrading that they would give me $250 credit for the inconvenance that I could use for new orders. They said it would take four to six weeks for me to receive my computer I have been calling for months trin to see whats going on I just got to another comuter to find out whats going on.

i'm one of the rip off people who was in payment process with FAI(financing alternative inc) and it's been well over a year now since i have heard anything about what will be done about getting my money back. i had order from them in the past and much to my surprise (while surfing the net after many attempts to contact them without responce i decided to surf the web to get answers) i was totally upset to find out what they had done.

now i may not have invested as much as others but by no means am i in any condition to throw away somewhere near $900. i'm on disability and monies are hard to come by. i live on a very strick budget and it was so easy the first time ordering a computer from them on the payment plan i thought it would be great to order another on for my children to have.

well i was upset needless to say so where they. that was a christmas gift for them. i tried to contact someone in VA to find out what was going to be done and like i said it's now been over a year and i know nothing. i just like to be updated to what the status or action is going to be so that i know whether i need to get my own lawyer involved in this matter. i will sue someone, whether it be the president of the company or the other person mention in the news letter i found on the VA web site. but some one need to pay for what took place and i don't think that we the comsumer should have to be the one who lose out. so if possible please let me know what's going on and just when WILL I GET MY MONEY!!!!!!!!

the funds were automatically deducted from my checking account every other week for months. We were supposed to pay for half the product, and then it was supposed to be delivered and we pay for the remainder...I have most of the paperwork, and can get a bank statement as proof of the deductions.

I am a very low income mom, single with 3 daughters, this is a serious blow to us financially, since we have disconnects for water, power, we have already had the phone disconnected, and soon the cable will as well, the phone and cable were my at home work, and we needed the new computer to continue working. Hopefully there is something you can do to help us.

The first time I went through Financing Alternatives in 2003, I had no problems. I paid on time and received my Dell destktop computer. I then wanted to purchase a laptop, since I had no problems previously. I had them to start taking payments out of my account for the laptop and after $500 some odd dollars, I got information that the company was being sued and/or went out of business. I now notice all the complaints that prople are sending in and am wondering will we get our monies back from this devastating ordeal? The phone number I have for this company has a recording and a charge of 9.99/month to get informantion about this company. What the heck is that about?

I didn't have any damages from this ordeal just that we all work too hard for out money to get scammed just to purchase a computer or laptop from this theiving company.

In 2006 this company financed us a 1679.00 computer and we made all payments and never received our merchandise.We kept calling and they just made excuses and did not keep any of their promises.I want to know what will be done about this.

I placed an order for a laptop computer I never recieved. I paid in full for my laptop, but it was never shipped and then I heard the company was undergoing a lawsuit.

I have been dealing with financing alternatives since 2003. I started by giving my checking account information, followed by weekly withdraws, amounting to 70.00. My circumstances changed and my checking account was closed.

About two years went by ad I saw a commerical about being able to by a computer with no money down, contacted company, to by a computer. I learned they still had my 70.00 in an account in my name. I reactivated the account, once again gave my new account information to start withdraws, so I could purchase a computer, to make along story short. 2000.00 was taken out of my account and I still do not have a computer.

When I call the number I always called to follow up on the progress of my purchase, to my dismay no answer, and as time went by phone was disconneted. I want my money back. Please help me. I have bank statments, and paper work regarding contract and promises. I composed a file. I dont have a representives name accept whats on paper work. Desparate for help

I've made several complaints about the situation. I paid over 1600.00 dollars for a products I never EVER received. When I asked for a full refund no one was ever able to assist. It was always we're backlogged and u will receive the product in 90 days then it went on on until the number was no longer available. I have every record of the company making withdrawals out of my acct 77.98 every pay period.

Is there anyone I can contact to try to go to small claims court or something. I really think I should receive my money back. Then the wait times was ridiculous! is there any legal advice anyone could give me or a number to call. I have no computer or no refund!

I paid $2,266.48 for a laptop computer in installment payments of $99.99 starting 11/12/2006 until about Octber of 2007 when I tried to call them or go on the website it was not available any longer, so they stole my money.

I was a customer of Financing Alternatives for a laptop computer. My account was paid in full over a year ago. I never received the computer I paid for and was never refunded my money for unshipped merchandise. The total cost of the computer was $2391.48.

I am still in possession of all original paperwork and correspondence and am willing to submit to the proper authorities as proof.

i signed up to reseived a brand new dell computer though this company, by them taking money out fo my bank account. it was said that i could call @ anytime to let them know if i could'nt make payment or if i wanted to make extra payments. when useing the number that was given to me it was out of service.

it cause me to have out standing debt with my bills that could have been payed off. i couldnt start my on-line classes @ college and it left me broke! i just want action to be taking against the party that is resposible for this crime.

i was making payments on this computer for a year and i pay it out and i never got my computer. i pay thousand in something dollars and did not get anything. they been sending me voice mail stating how much more i had to pay till i paid it out. they never sent the rest of my payment paper staing the rest of my payment. i call them several time they tell me it was adelay on several merchandise

so when i all again the computer comes on this be on and on they would not answer the phone. so from that time on ive been trying to see who i can report this to to see if this is real or what so i can see about getting my money back. please help me. its been two years and i havent heard anything yet.

They had an add on t.v.that they financed computers so I called the number that they showed.they took the information over the phone.they told me that after 6 weekley payments that my computer would be shipped to my address.they were taking the weekley payments out of my bank account.after six weeks I called them to find out if the computer had been shipped.The person that I spoke with told me that the last person I spoke with told me wrong that they take out 12 payments before its financed.they then stated they would send me an agreement to sign and they did I

signed the agreement and mailed it back to them like they asked.After 12 weeks were up I called them back and they stated that my computer was in the prosess of being built and that it would be shipped in about 2 weeks.Again they stated this time when I called them back they stated it had been shipped.

After 2 more weeks It still had not arrived so I called them back this time Ididnt get an answer.During all this time they were taking money out of my bank account.I went to my bank and told them what was going on so my account was fixed so they couldnt get any more of my money out of my account.although for the 2 weeks prier to me going to my bank they hadnt taken any money out of my account they got over $1,000.00 out of me and I havnt been able to get back in touch with them.The phone numbers I had for them were no longer working and I do not know how to contact them.

I purchased a computer from this company. Paid just under $1300, back in 2006. I've called many times and always got the run around. I recently tried to call again and the number is no longer listed. I've been told I would receive a refund over and over again. Is their anyway to get my money back?

We didn't have any severe damages, just money we didn't have to lose.

I saw the ad on T.V. in 2006 so I called and placed an order. FAI started taking the payments out of my payroll check. After paying them in full I have'nt received any part of a computer. And when I called FAI they say a delay is the reason why I have not received anything.

As a result of me not receiving the computer I had to put my classes on hold at Wake Tech College. I am out $2,200 which I am very disgusted about.

My wife an I applied to recieve a computer at 50dollars a week for a litte over a year and all we got was a 50 dollar digital camera. We have been trying for a year now to get some one to help us

All I want is my money back. I saw their ad on tv, so I thought it was legit. I was excited to think that I was going to receive a computer, just to find out that I don't and never will. I am sad, upset and disappointed. Why did they do this? I am a single mother of one and I busted my ass for that money for them to just STEAL.

I was in need of my own personal computer and after seeing the commercial several times I decided to call for some information.I had just started a job and was secure in the fact that I would be capable of making any payments needed as they were approx. 60.00 every 2 weeks and would be coming directly out of the savings acct.

Oddly enough there came a point when I would recieve paperwork from the company stating that the payment agreement was almost completed and more paperwork to fax in to finalize the agreement and shipment. The fax and toll free number that I was provided never worked. After several unsuccessful calls and fax attempts, I recieved a letter stating the customer service number had been changed. This new number was also useless.

So, at this time we are out of more than 2 years of no answers, no computer, and more that 2,000.00 that we did not have to throw away and we have 3 children and a grandchild and live in an area where every single dime is a precious commoditity. And needless to say, I was such a genious to believe, Surely it would'nt be legal to advertise if it was a scam...

we placed an order for a dell computer through financing alternatives.on 09/06/2006 we were asked to give our account# so that can take the payment out of our account for three months then our computer will arrive.we had done this before and recevied the first one with no problem.but on the second one we were scamed they took $1200.00 and we did not get our computer.they even went as for as changing there phone number.the so we called dell computer company.they said that they could not help us.because they did not deal with that company.we e-mailed no response .the last time we talked to any one they told us that they did not have us on file.

Between the year 2006-2007 I made payments to Financing Alternative on a computer that I never received. The payments were automatically drafted from my account bi weekly. After not receiveing my computer after the scheduled payments I called customer service only to be told that I had misunderstood the number of payments that I would have had to have made in order to receive my computer. As a result of this scam I no longer have a checking account because even after I had Financing Alternatives to stop the drafted payments they continued forcing my account have a negative balance.

I have filed a complaint about this company awhile ago, but I have sinced changed email addresses and was wanting an update on this company that scammed me for over 1000 dollars. I paid on a computer for a year or so and when it came time for me to get the computer there no longer was a company. I lost a lot of money, my physical stress due to this was enormous, it caused some problems with my husband and myself, as well as my handicapped daughter whom the computer was for. I was unable to pay for some other bills due to not being able to get my money back that this company stole from me.

I made payment arrangments to purchuse a brand new computer. they stated that after six months i would recives the computer and continue to make payments on it each month of 71.98. I had a few overdrafts when money was not there and delayed shipment of my product.

After another year i still had not gotten my computer. they told me that they had a back up in the system they were chanign to a new system and i should get it in 45 days each time that i talked to them it was a longer delay from 45 to 90. After that they sent a letter stateing the product was ready to be shipped and to confirm everything. I sent the letter back after i signed and then waited.

I first received a digital camera whcih was part of my package that i had paid for in Dec 2006 i was finishing paying and still no somputer. I tried to call after that and kept getting a busy siganl and i tried several other times after that to contact them and never heard from them again. I paid out over 1700.00 and never got my computer. I was trying to simply get a computer for college use not knowing i would never get and pay out all that money towards. I have moved from Apopka, FL and for a complete year I had funds taken from my bank account for a computer and never received it. I applied for a laptop computer on-line 5-1-07 after seeing a comercial about it on tv. They had a form for customers to fill out which collected all of my personal information such as my name, address, phone number,email address, banking information and social security number. I received an e-mial comfirmation later on that night saying my application had been submitted and a few days later i received some papers in the mail regarding my authorization allowing the company to draft my account for 199.25 starting July 1,2007 for a 12-month period and they needed a voided check or a deposit slip in order to start the process so I Faxed it to them and i mailed the form by mail.

I had to pay three faithful months before they sent the computer to me and i did just that. October 2007 is when I received a verification form in the mail about fufilling a revolving account plan, i entered the information on the form they requested, I faxed it back and waited for my laptop to be delivered to me.

October is when I was able to communicate with this company effectively before all of the phone lines were disconnected or they stayed busy. Financing Alternatives stopped taking payments from me November 2007, I couldn't talk to them by phone so I sent e-mails and faxes-still I received no response. When January 2008 came around, I went to my banking instution (Safe Credit Union) where I placed a stop payment on this transaction however i still haven't gotten a refund from the company Financing Alternatives. I have also contacted CBS 13 News Call Kirtis Hotline, no sucess. I now suffer headachs from stress, loss of appetite and loss of happiness. I have lost a total of $797.00 from Financing Alternatives.

I ordered a computer through the company about 2 years ago and they were taking the money directly from my bank account. I tried to cancel the order and asked for a refund they told me that no refunds where aloud and that they would just send a web cam with my computer. Advertisement seen on TV regarding financing for Dell computer system for individuals with financing problems. Monthly payments were made. Computer was scheduled to be received in November 2007. Full price as been paid for computer but not system receive. E-mails sent were undeliverable. Phones disconnected. Can not seem to get answers from anyone regarding this situation.

I purchased a computer that was advertise on a t.v.commercial that displayed about F.A.I. It specifically displayed or was told on TV, we will take customers with bad credit; a job, and a bank account, with 3 easy payments. So,after that commercial, I was encouraged. I called F.A.I. and from the conversation on the phone we discussed an arrangement of a 3 months set up of payments and then F.A.I. would ship the computer after 3 consecutive payments to my house.

However, I missed a payment with F.A.I. so I called F.A.I. about the missed payment, and from the conversation with F.A.I. I was told the 3 payment had to be consecutive; so I had to make them consecutive in order for my computer order for the computer to go through or to arrived at my residence. So, I continued discussing the payment plan with F.A.I. and asked F.A.I. If I could pay them in a lump sum. I also asked If I would receive the computer in a timely date. F.A.I. said yes. So, I then paid the lump sum of 81.98 dollars of three months of consecutive payments with the expectation of the computer being delivered by Christmas. However, I have not seen the computer I'm suppose to have received from F.AI. Although F.A.I. was still taking money out of my account. F.A.I., took money from my account until F.A.I. reached the amount of total balance which was $2,049.50. Conclusively, I'm very devastated by F.A.I.'s business affairs that I hope to be reimbursed either my computer or my money back.

I have been physically drained by this matter, because I sacrifice that money for the computer for the sake of my 4 children who needed the computer for school. I am a former customer of Financing Alternatives. I have received 2 letters in the last 2 months signed by Mrs. Christian, from an attorney's office requesting payment for the outstanding balance on my account. Is this allowed being that their business has been shut down and all assets frozen? I'm not sure if anyone is aware that Mrs. Christian has a company currently contacting former customers to try to get money. Who can I report this to?

In 2006 I ordered a computer. I talked to an operator who took all my information including social security number--all that was needed to ship the product. They also needed my bank account information to withdraw $125 payments every two weeks. Sometimes they took out more. I still have not received most of my order, not even a scanner. They only sent me a web cam. When I paid my last payment they had the nerve to send a payment receipt of what I had paid and what was left to pay.

When I called them several times, they told me the same excuses--there's been a delay, and they will inform me later. I waited for a good long while and didn't call, and they didn't call or send me a letter. When I called again, the operator didn't come to the phone--just a computer message saying the operator would be with me.

They were taking taking money out of my checking account every week, and this has been going on since 3/2007; and I have not received my computer or cell phone. My checking account was over drawn. I would have to work to work extra to make payments, and the kids kept asking when was the computer going to be delivered. All you need to do is make payment, and within three months of the first consecutive payment being made you will receive the computer. I finish paying for the computer in May 2007 and was told that there was a 120-day backlog with the shipment of the computers. A weekly payment of $81.98 was automatically taken out every week from my checking account. When I did not receive the computer on the date they told me I would receive it, I contacted them again. I had upgraded the screen to a flat screen paying an additional 4-5 hundred dollars.

Now I get a letter for Bowan Green & Kelly, a law firm whose is representing Michele Christian, whose is the wife of the owner of Financing Alternative, Inc. I still owe them more money. I got a call from another company, who is collecting the debt. When I call I get an answering machine. I don't feel right about this, so when I did get a live person name (Lisa), she stated that I still owe. A week, later I have a withdrawal from my account for amount of $35.99. I went to my bank and asked what this transaction was. The banker did a research on my account and found out there was paper draft in form of check made out to Michele Christian, and she cash the check. So I had the bank close my account. So be aware!

I feel that I was ripped off on this computer, with the price I have to pay. I probably could have gotten three computers with this price.

3 years ago I put a computer on layaway with Financing Alternative and when I did not receive my computer on the date they said, they would tell me that their computers were down and it would delay it. I missed one payment and they said they had to give my computer to someone else and start over rebuilding it the way I ordered it. This kept on for months the same excuse why I did not receive it. I am very unhappy about this and I wish I and everyone else could get their money back. We work hard for our money and we put trust in this company and the employees in it.

I have hardly any money now to make the payments for the computer took all the money I spent and I have nothing to show for it. I spent over $3,000.00 because every time it was delayed they would offer some other addition to add to the computer with a $250.00 off certificate.

I needed a computer so I dialed the number that was shown on TV. Don't recall the name of the person I spoke with. Gave them all the info that they needed, address, account #. They started deducting $71.78 every two weeks since December of 2006. I tried calling them a few times, but the numbers have been disconnected. I still don't have my computer. I have bank statements to back this up.

We ordered a computer so that our daughter could do her college homework and papers. We were told that after making 3 months of payments we would receive the computer. I called them 3 mos. and 1 day later to find out where my computer was. I was told that some parts were back ordered. I called every week until finally in August, when my daughter was to start school I called and got the same runaround. I started crying and told this person the situation and asked why I they couldn't keep up the part of the signed agreement when I had kept my part, never missing a payment. I was told they would look into the problem and call me back. I did not get a call back after 3 days and called them every work day for a week and finally asked for the owner/CEO's name. They asked for what reason and I told them that I planned to connect the better business bureau of Wisconsin and Virginia.

I received a call back later that day and was told my computer would arrive start arriving within a week. Sure enough, within 1 week I started to receive my computer. This was 10 mos. after I signed up, I only had 2 payments to go. I would never deal with them again. Now, if my computer breaks down I'll have to go directly Dell, which is the only place I can get my ink cartridges and was never told this. I thought I was getting a Gateway! Live and learn.

I badly needed a new computer, so I tried to finances with financing alternatives, Inc. After several payments, my computer was not send when it supposed to be shipped. I called and suddenly the agreement was changed.

I tried to get them to stop taking money from my checking because I knew my computer would not arrive. I had to close my checking account because the bank could not stop payments. My checking account is overdrawn and interest growing.

I signed up for a PC with Finance Alternative inc. Money is coming out of my account and I have yet to receive my computer. It's been over six months. Also the website PC for all is currently down.

I attempted to purchase a computer from them back on 09/2006. I made payments as agreed from my checking acct. I paid a little over $540.00 which supposedly meets the fullfillment phase. I still never received a computer or anything else. I requested my money back since they did not fulfill their promises, and was told they don't give refunds, however if I wanted to later on, I could start the contract up again and the money I have in layaway would still be there to go towards another purchase. Now here it is 1/20/08, I have a computer but I want to use my credit from them for a printer or camera because I cannot afford to pay it all at once, nor do I have the credit to do so. Now I find out my suspicions from the beginning were true.

I had stared payments and the last payment I made was 6/15/2007. I had asked for my money to be refunded because I had lost my job. the lady told me that they couldn't do that, but they hold my money I had paid so far until I wanted to start back up. Now today when I get home I receive a letter from Bowman Green Hampton & Kelly PLLC Attorneys and Counselors at Law stating that As of October 4, 2007 that my account (no number) with Financing Alternatives, Inc has been assigned to Michele A. Christian. The security agreement securing my account has also been assigned to her and that all payments must be made to her and that failure to make payments as requested by this notice may mean that I will not receive proper credit from them. I've been trying to reach FAI for months and all of their customer care numbers are either disconnected or tell you to call again later which you hear 24 hrs a day. My emails to them also went unanswered and now I have this Law Firm harrasing me and I have bank statements that prove I owe them nothing

I Contacted FAI because I saw a Chance to get a computer within three months with a payment of $87.90 every two weeks from my checking account. I really don't have a lot of money, nor do I get enough income to support myself. But I knew If I get a computer it will help my chances of getting more income, through online schooling. For four months I paid on time, never miss a payment or late with a payment because I knew I will have to start all over.

Well after contacting FAI, for over two weeks, I could not get a response through mail or telephone. Then I started thinking that the company was just a scam. I didn't lose over a thousand dollars like some people, but I almost $900.00, it really hurt just as much as losing thousands of dollars.

I saw the ad on TV for a computer that would help me build my credit, so I paid a down payment and $71.98 was taken out of my bank account every other week. I've paid about $1500.00 and they said there was a shipment problem so it would be another 30 days before it is shipped, however it never happend. When my wife made an attempt to call them, the account number was invalid and even using my SS#, same address on the invoice but they had no record of me at all. One lady said because I never finished paying for it, I probally was sent to the collection department. Now my wife is mad because they got our money and we got no computer, how on earth can this be? Our account was closed and we did some searching only to find we'd been scamed. They have betrayed our trust to the tv world, taken very personal information that could effect me for the rest of my life.

I ordered a computer from this company spending around $2000. I was promised a computer and everything that goes with it and have never received it. After trying to get in touch with them and finding that the websites are under construction and the phone lines are not working, I have now found out that I have been scammed. I would like to know what I need to do in order to try to receive my refund.

So on 10/15/06 they sent me my contract, which I signed and mailed back to them. Well, it's now Jan 3rd and still no PC .I told my friend about it and she found out that it was a scam. I hope you can help me as I could really use the money they took from me.

I am a single mother living below the poverty line. I currently am homeless and some of the automatic deductions resulted in overdrafting my checking account. This resulted in a chain reaction in overdraft fees and hence my not having either a home or a computer is hand. I feel so violated, so stupid. I was simply trying to do something for myself and my son in purchasing the product I will never see. I want justice!

I ordered a laptop with $600 worth of software. I paid $2300 since November 2005 and to date I haven't received the merchandise nor a true explanation of what is really going on. The times I got through to the phone number, I was promised in 90 days. Another time I was promised 120 days. Now I can't even get in touch with anyone and I have sent threatening letters with cc to an attorney, but got no response nor reimbursement.

I am a college student, and my Mary Kay business suffered to a point of no return. I needed to drop out of college until the next semester because I was unable to keep up with online classes and a full-time job.

I placed a Layaway Plan on 8/16/2006 and paid a total of $1,871.48; and I finished my last payment in September, but never received the computer. I have made several attempts to call, and no one answers, or the phone rings busy all the time.

I am now in the hole for nearly $1,900.00 and no computer.

I purchased a PC back in April of 2004 for a little over $1800.00. They took payments out of my account, but I never received an invoice for any of my payments. After a year passed, I contacted the company and told them how much I had paid and asked when would I receive my merchandise. They stated I missed a payment, and I would have to start over. Another year passed, and I called them and said: You either refund my money or give me something for the amount of money I had already paid. I paid a total of $1351.25. They informed me they would replace the order with a flat screen TV package, and I would only owe $25.00. I took that agreement; and it is now 12/2007, 3 years after my first payment, and I have not received any merchandise. I need an attorney, and I need one now because I am not going out without all my money--besides the time I've spent.

I purchased a $2500 Computer on agreement of financing of automatic payments of $155 to be withdrawn from my checking account on the sixth of each month beginning on 11/2006. The payments have continuously been withdrawn on time, and the balance is paid in full. I have yet to receive my small business equipment which consists of the monitor, keyboard, mouse, and Laser printer (all Dell products). I was lucky enough to get a CS - rep back in Sept. of 2007 who told me that I would need to pay for the equipment in full before receiving the equipment. That was not the original agreement. I was to pay $400 in order to receive my equipment, and the remaining balance would be financed as stated above. I requested a refund of the amount I had paid which at that time was $975. I was told that if I did not choose to purchase the order I would not qualify for a refund. I accepted the order to continue, and money continued to be withdrawn from my bank account. As of 12/24/2007 I have not received the equipment, and my balance is paid in full.

Their phone is now disconnected. I have not received another invoice so I know the account is paid in full. It has been over a year, and they stole $2500 from my checking account. I would like my equipment plus compensation--or a refund in full.

They also told me that if I make the first 6 payments with no problems that they would start sending my merchandise. I never received anything so I stopped making the payment. I have tried several times to contact them, and the number that was assigned to them always says that the number is no longer in service or the long distance network is busy. I have even tried reaching them from several different cell phones but got no answer. I wanted to know what was going on with the pc. I first started dealing with them in the beginning of April in 2006, and now it is December of 2007. Please help.

I paid $2126 for a computer from Financing Alternatives and never received it, nor notification on it or why I haven't received it.

My wife thought she would surprise me with a new computer for Christmas 2003. We couldn't afford to go out and buy it in one lump sum so she purchased it through layaway with Financing Alternatives without me knowing until I noticed the withdrawals out of the checking account. After she told me about it I decided it was too expensive, and we canceled it after only two payments. Luckily I did. We tried for months to get our money back that we had paid, and they refused to give it back to us. They said that we have a credit with them, and that we have to purchase something from them.

After reading the stories of all the people who paid thousands into them, what can I expect to get back from them? They are the reason why I will not order things online. It's not fair that these people are getting away with taking and keeping other people's money and not giving them something for it. Free trade suffers due to their trickery.

I saw a Financing Alternatives commercial for making a payment on computers. I called and they told me that I would receive my computer after I had made three payments of $155.96. After making four payments, I called. They said that I had to sign a new contract, then they would send the computer. I signed the new contract and mailed it back. When I did not receive the computer in a couple weeks, I called again. They said that I had failed to provide the last name of one of my references. I provided that one name. They said that I would receive my computer in three months. I moved just prior to the month that the computer was due to come and provided them with my new address. Just prior to moving, I e-mailed that I changed banks due to my move. I made a payment with my new debit card. No one responded to my e-mail. I attempted to call and received a message that all customers service agents were busy and to send an e-mail. I was leery at that point.

I just attempted to call again this week and could not get through. I could no longer get through to their website. I paid this company 7 or 8 payments of $155.96 and never received anything from them. I just checked your website and found out that they were a scam. I thought that they were legitimate because they advertised on TV and had their own website. I have a copy of the Sales Order.

I lost at least $1091.02 to this company. I can verify the payments with my bank statements because they took the payments out of my bank account each month.

I contacted Financing Alternatives (FAI) in September of 2006. I purchased a desktop computer, and they began to draft $35.99 a week from my checking account. In February 2007 when I received my income tax money, I paid off the computer in full. They told me they were experiencing technical difficulties within their shipping department. I tried calling their company many times only to be told that due to their overwhelming amount of calls, the only way to contact them was by email. I requested my computer or my money back only to be told that due to the contract I signed that I was not entitled to a refund. I have not been able to contact them since. I have saved the emails that I sent, and the only ones I have received and will gladly send those to anyone who needs them. I paid over $1800 for merchandise that I never received, and it shouldn't have cost that to begin with.

I have been trying to work from home so I don't have to pay for child care. Believing that the latest I would get my computer would be September 1, 2007 I signed up with SMC. I planned on using my computer to sell the merchandise on the computer. After 4 months I called,a dn they said they were back-ordered nad would take another 30 days. After another 3 months they said it would be 120 days because they were back ordered. I told them I was tired of the runaround and wanted my money back; they said it was nonrefundable. I waited 5 months and go the same runaround each time I called. When it didn't show up I called, and they told me that the order would be delayed due to system upgrades that pushed back all orders. They told me no later then the end of January. I waited until mid-February to call back; then they told me that they were still in a delay, and I would receive it in April. In May they gave me the same reason, and this time August would be the time of arrival.

It is now November, 2007--a year later--and now I cannot get in contact with the company, and the website is not working either. I am out $1,400.

I was told that my payments were going to be biweekly in the amount of $77.98 and my fulfillment phase is 9/25/2006 which means that if you pay in good faith we will start building your computer. In December I was sent out some paper work to verify my information on file because supposedly they were about to deliver. I sent the signed documents back and in 02/02/2007 I received a web camera.

I called Financing Alternatives and asked them where was my computer; they said that it was on its way to my home. Called back in about a week to let them know that I hadn't received my computer; the response was the parts were not compatible to the computer. I asked how much longer because my last payment is 06/18/2007, and only received a web camera. Response was you should have your computer at the end of April,. Still no computer. Called back, and they said it would come at the end of September. (I was done with payments in full 06/18/2007.) When I tried to call back for my status at the end of September there were no working phone lines nor internet access to the company.

I paid a downpayment of $150 and then in 2 weeks started paying $71.98 every 2 weeks. I thought I was getting this BIG bargain and a chance to have something nice with all the free gifts I was going earn for paying on time. I was to get: a Visa prepaid card and a prepaid cell phone after 1st months payment. A MP 3 player after 2nd months payment, and for each month of on time payments I would earn additional 30-minute cellphone cards. After 4-5 months of on-time payments, my computer would be shipped directly from the manufacturer and when it was completely paid in full I earned a 23`` LCD TV. Included in the computer package was a bundle of programs worth over $700.

I think I lost close to a $1000, that I paid them faithfully every 2 weeks.

ON September 22, 2006 I saw a TV commercial say I could get a brand new desktop no matter what my credit. I called the company, and the person I spoke to told me I could get a computer if I made few payments of $24.99. I agreed and made the first payment of $100.00. The person also confirmed that once I reached a certain amount of payments I will receive a complete desktop computer system. I continued to make my payments of $24.99 weekly. I never received the computer; I tried to call the company, but they were disconnected. I tried their website and was under construction. Now I know the company is a fraud. I am very upset; they took my hard working money out of the bank. Now I am ready and willing to take the company to court and have all my documents to prove my case. They are thieves, liars and criminals and need to be behind bars. PLEASE HELP ME

I feel very stressed and upset because this computer was supposed to be a gift for my two children. How can I explain that this company conned me to my children? It just made it seem like I was lying to my children because they don't understand how a company could con a person.

I was robbed by Financing Alternatives of almost $1900.00 for a laptop I wanted to purchase for my daughter who is in college. I tried calling several times, and all I heard was the same excuse from all previous clients. It's a shame how this scam happened to so many of us hard working people. I gave Financing Alternatives representative Donte Brown all my personal information, and $71.98 bi-weekly was drafted out my bank account. After I upgraded to a bigger monitor and a double hard drive it changed to $99.75 bi-weekly. I was supposed to get a Dell computer and 3-in-1 printer by September 19th. All I got was a Lexmar printer and nothing else. I called everyday and the associates continued to say any day now; no tracking number yet. I went online to get another number to reach them, and that's when I saw they were being investigated.

I'm so hurt because I really couldn't afford that; I'm a part-time driver. I needed a computer to go back to school. They took over $1400.00 from me!

I told that by Financing Alternatives that after 6 payments of $92.00 I would receive my computer. I did not recevie it. Upon calling and sending emails I finally got a response that I would be receiving it soon. Still no computer. This was really a stretch for me to do. My wife was needing one, however, and this was going to be a 16th wedding anniversary surprise.

This computer was to help us be prepared for an opportunity that my wife's job was going to let her work from home. Now we are out the money and no prep for her job.

I called Financing Alternatives all the time. Each time they tell me they are upgrading my computer. I stopped calling because I feel I lost my money. They took that money out of my checking account each month. I made a big mistake. Never again will buy anything like that. I am working to repair my credit. My money was stolen by them.

I order a computer from Financing Alternative in April 2007. They started drafting payments of $35.99 weekly. When I first placed the order I was told the computer would be shipped after 3 months of payments. After 3 months came and went, I called to make sure the computer had been shipped. I was told that the 3 month rule was incorrect and that due to the start date the computer wouldn't be shipped until August 2007. August came and went: no computer. I called and this time they said they were missing paperwork needed to start production. I know they received the paperwork--sent FedEx and was delivered. October came and still no computer. I started calling the second week of October and all circuits were busy. My fiancee said she would fax a letter to find out what was going on. She decided to Google the company because she said she had a very bad feeling, and she finds that the computer has disappeared.

Thus far they have drafted $971.73 from my account. I have literally gone into a depression regarding this. I had finally gotten to a point where I was trying to make bigger strides in my life. I feel as though they have taken advantage of me.

From an ad on TV, I called Financing Alternatives and gave my checking account number to begin payments for a new laptop. In Dec. 2005, I began making payments towards a new laptop which I have never seen or even touched yet. After a year I had made all the payments necessary to pay off this new laptop. I have been waiting now since Dec. 2006 to receive my new laptop.

Many times over I was told the computer was waiting to be shipped out., On many occasions I was left on hold up to 45 minutes to an hour waiting for any answer. It got to the point I could not get a hold of any one, and the customer service number would direct me to a web address, and I don't have my laptop to be on the internet. In many conversations whatever rep would say the hardware and software is outdated and they would need to do upgrades before shipping the new laptop. It was not until today my son suggested he look up on the internet to investigate and try the BBB to see if this company was for real. I praise my son for taking this step, and now I clearly see there is always someone out there robbing from the poor.

We saw Financing Alternatives commercial on TV, and my mother thought that it would be a good idea for my little brother to have a good computer in the house. So we called and decided to order. She gave him her credit card number. We felt safe because the government allowed them to show their commercials on TV. We got taken.

We have been in lack due to these payments, and sometimes her account hasbeen over drafted. We have to pay back the bank the money that she had earned that needed to be for rent. We were almost evicted.

I looked up their website only to find out that it no longer existed. I was cheated out of $1,100.00 of hard earned money that I will probably never see.

I purchased the compter so that myself and my husband could go back to school and take some online courses not to mention to allow my children to learn how to use the computer.

I enrolled in a plan to purchase a computer with Financing Alternatives in May of 2005. All fees were paid and I finished paying off this computer as of 8/16/06. I have contacted them periodically to check the status of my shipment. Each time I called, I was very rudely informed that there was a delay in the shipping process. The last time I spoke with them on 05/09/07, I was told by Robert (supevisor) that there was still a delay in the shipping and it would ship to me no later than 9/30/07. He also informed me that I would not get my money back and that it wouldbe fruitless for me to seek legal counsel as my contract read that it was up to them as to how long it would take to ship all products.

I have yet to receive my computer or an kind of correspondence as to why my computer has not shipped. Also, as of today 10/11/07, their 800 number is not going through and no one is answering the other number that I have for them, which I have listed above.

I have had to close the bank account that they were drafting payments out of so they could no longer have access and I have paid $1871.48 for a product that I will probably never see.

I was promised a computer after I made my first three payments on time my payments were automaticly taken out of my ckecking account witch started 12/4/2006 and have coutinued till 9/3/07 there now stating that there behind on shipping them out and that I wo'nt be billed till its shipped in the mean time I have to use my friends computer this is not fare. I was promised three months witch would of been march of this yr they have gotten over half of the money owed.

i paid for my computer 1,600, i have never recieved it. i paid it off on Feburary 13 of this year and ,i was suppose to get it in 90 days ,and still no computer.

I placed an order for a computer in Feburary of 2007 and the monthly payments of $155.96 to be taken out of my checking account the 15th of each month. Once I met the 3 months of making payments I received a letter dated 04/04/07 congraluating me that I've been approved for the Revolving Account Plan. I had to sign and return the document which I did as requested. I should have received my computer 6-8 weeks after they received my agreement letter.

Trying to get my animation buisness started and can't even put my product out cause of no computer.I believe as far as damage anything that causes one to stress can do lots to the mind and body.

due to this matter it has been times consumming not to mention all the money I was giving eventually cause finacial hardship because at the I was paying them I was really streching myself.I had to move from where I lived and I dont have a car to get me and my children around I was getting a computer so I could have internet to look for a new job.I am stressed because this is not the first time I have been scammed but this time is the last time.Now I will have hard time order from anyone else.

Started Nov.2006 $72.00 Biweeky.What I had taken in that I would recieve my computer by Christmas. So I called back they told me that if i mis understood listen to the recording of myself and them, then I asked when will I recieve the computer, thier answer was not until half of the amount on the computer paid one payment of 72.00 out of checkings in Nov. ask for my money back,no refund. So at this moment upset, not recieving a computer not recieving my payment. I did,t want to lose that amount and with Christmas not a gift to recieve deferred payments until January curent balance of $1871.48

Started back into payments around March I phoned them asking if I pay half down when will I recieve my computer about 120 more days which i was lacking a references which i did over the phone,so with my income tax money I've payed half the of the computer. Still telling me 120 days and that there were other people ahead.

I did as was asked(checking acct debit). When I began calling about my computer 08/01/06, I was told they had a new computer system and a lot of orders were messed up. There would be a 60 day delay.

I called 60 days later and was told the same thing. They were having trouble with their 'new' system and there would be another 60 day delay.

I called every 60 days, only to be told the same thing. I even received a printer which by the way is still in the box. And has been for over a year. But still no computer.

My computer was paid in full $1,871.48 on 07/02/07. Still NO COMPUTER!!! I called one final time in September of this year and was immediately sent to a bogus website and non-working telephone numbers.

I want my money back. They cannot tell me that I paid almost $2000.00 for a printer. I don't even want the darn thing. All I want is my money back so that I can get my son a computer to use since I promised him one over a year ago.

I am a single mother. Do you think if I could have afforded a computer out-right, I would have ever gone with a lay-away plan system. Now I find out I have been ripped off. Please help me.

I can't even begin to explain what this has done to me and my child. He is 14 years old and in high school. The school he attends is digital tech and they want every student to have their own home computer with email account set up. I constantly hear that he is the only one in the class who does not have a home computer.

I AM A 66 YEAR OLD WOMAN.I THOUGHT HAVING A COMPUTER WOULD BE GREAT TO HAVE AND I COULD START MAKING MONEY FROM HOME.THE AMOUNT OF $54.14 HAS BEEN DRAFTED OUT OF MY ACCOUNT TWICE A MONTH FOR OVER A YEAR. EVERY TIME I CALLED IT WOULD SAY THEY WAS EXPERIENCING HIGH CALL VOLUME AND WOULD HANG UP OR MY COMPUTER WOULD BE HERE AT A CERTAIN TIME.I HAVE NOT RECIEVED A COMPUTER YET.

Reading all of these posts about this company...makes me feel good (and bad!)that I was not the ONLY one taken advantage of!!The story everyone tells is the exact same as mine... Sign up... money debited every month...and no compter. I was able to get my computer after 10 months of payments only after I filed a complaint with the BBB. BUT the computer I recieved was a laptop and I ordered a desktop. I tried and tried to get through to SOMEONE at their customer service number...e-mailed them...yet never got any respone back...sound familiar!!??

I ended up keeping this laptop, even though it is not what I paid for or ordered. I had 2 payments left and paid a little over $1,000 (thats an expensive laptop!!!)so after not being able to contact anyone about what I recieved...I ended up closing my checking account so they could not take any more money. I have chalked this up to a lesson learned. My question is HOW DO THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS? I swear if I had the money, I would hire a lawyer and sue to get my $$ back. I don't know how a company like this is allowed to stay in business!?

I needed a computer so I contacted Financing Alternative. 11-26-2006 I started payment by allowing them to debit my checking account. They said I had to make so many payments before I could receive my computer, which was ok with me. I started calling them in February to see when will they be shipping out my computer. They said because of the back log and upgrade of the computers I will have to wait about 90 days.

Well after 90 days which was May I called back. They told me I had to wait 120 more days, which would be the first of September. I have not received my computer yet. In between those times I have been calling, to only get a recording. I have e-mailed them I don't know how many times, still no reply. I have paid $1,787.44 in which I have asked for a refund.
