Ron of Cortland NY (11/29/03):
I subscribed to the financial advisory service "eWSU" with the provision that I am entitled to a full refund ($5,000) if not satisfied for any reason. I called to cancel on July 14, 2003 and was told that my refund would be received between 30 and 90 days. I made a subsequent call on 9/19 and was told to wait 30 more days. I called on 10/22 and was told it would take 6-8 more weeks. I called on 11/25 and was told I would not receive it before the new year.

I am sick of the runaround. I am considering small claims court but I am not sure who to name or where to claim. The address above (1658 N. Milwaukee Ave. Chicago) is where I sent the subscription fee. However, when I asked where I might send a certified letter, the gentleman I spoke to indicated that I should send it to 350 Bay St., San Francisco, CA 94133. I asked him if that was where he was and he said no, he is in Europe.

Damage Resulting: $5,000 subscription fee plus time and effort of collection.
