I received a letter from Countrywide explaining that my personal information (social security # and other information) may have been sold. This is absolutely unacceptable and Countrywide has offered me a 2 year complimentary credit monitoring service in return. This is also unacceptable. Is there any leagal action here or perhaps 30 years of monitoring or a guarantee that Contrywide will accept full responsibility for fraudulent use of my information? 2 years of monitoring my credit is not sufficient. The people who have our information will obviously just wait until this time is up.

CountryWide Home Loans badgerd my wife and I into a refinace. We told them our credit score was to low. They consistantly contacted us over the phone and through emails. They promised us they could get us that loan! We thought our income was to low to pay it back. They said they thought we would be ok but may not have much to spare. They refinanced my wife and I.

We fell behind as my wife and I have our own buisness and times got worse with less income comming in, do to the financial crisses everyone our towns were in. This loan never seamed right for us to begin with, we thought they knew more than we did as they delt with this all the time. Ok, now we have been in default and our home will be sold on October 20th. We tried to make a deal with Countrywide actually pleaded with them, to refinance us to a lower interest and we may be able to fix this problem. No way where they going to do that.

We spent hours and days on the phone to work with us. No sir, you are loosing your home if you don't come up with the money. We then thought maybe we can barrow from a friend or family like they told us we need to do. Well they are tapped out too. We then thought of bankruptcy only we are getting so broke to even do that! We are trying to sell things or get a second job but no luck there ether. Now we find out that Countrywide had third party was involved but no need to worry that employee was terminated! And hey! we can give you 2 years of free monitorinng to the three major companies incase someone ties to take our idenity.

We are in limbo and stressed out with anxiety so high, I had to go to the doctor and get medication to deal with it and that medicine created new problems for me that are personal. I may not have a home or buisness by the 20th of October 2008. I really do not think they will get enough out of my home and they will come to my buisness and totaly wipe us out! Then what? we will have to get on the system. I am running out of options and we would to do something about it and we feel like our hands are tighed. Can someone PLEASE HELP US ? We want ideas, attourney or something ASAP!

My husband and I have owned our house for almost 2 years, we have one of the dreaded sub-prime mortgages. Recently my husband was hurt at work and to add insult to injury his company went on strike 19 days ago. I called my mortgage company, Countrywide, to ask for help, like to defer payments because with us being on strike we only get 600.00 a month. They told me that my mortgage is current this month, and i said that I cant make Octobers payment.

Kim told me that I can apply for a forbayance(suspend payments) until my husband gets back to work , but I can not do this until October 1st. My payment is due by the 16th, of the month, they said i have to go through the application process and it takes 30 days, and I may still be denied the help I need, when I asked abouth the fact that my payment comes due before the 30 days, what if I cant pay it, I was told it does not matter that if I dont pay it my loan then defaults and they will start foreclosure proceedings.

So as I see it they are only out to help themselves not me. Since I am in a sub-prime I have requested help from every source I can find and I keep hitting dead end roads. So with 2 kids, no job, and 600.00 a month income I am faced with walking away from my house and I have no money and no where to go, so due to the greedy, selfish people at Countrywide I face living in my car, because they wont help.

I AM GOING TO LOSE MY HOUSE.

They lied on my mortgage application. They wrote in My salary was 17,000 plus per month knowing it was 5,000 pere month. When we questioned this they said it was for qualification purposes. I have since had to refinance through Wells Fargo at a cost of 8,000. I also received a letter that my personal information such as social security number and other information had been sold to a third party by one of their employees.

I would like to sue them as this has produced huge financial burden on my family. Can I do anything about this? My credit has been stellar for 35 years and now will be ruined because I have to forclose on the mortgage. Thank you
