Consumer Mortgage Counseling Services of America

Consumer Complaints & Reviews

Do not pay for help with your home loan modifications! The government pays certain agencies to help you for free! I used http:** and it is free. However, using a 3rd party can complicate things. It might be better to speak directly with your lender. I had Bank of America and they give you a dedicated representative. It's much better that way. I just completed my mortgage mod. Consumer Mortgage Counseling Services of America spams people and it is not legit!

They and others are spamming me every day. I can't unsubscribe. I need to know where they got my info and how to stop them.

I have been paying for my car note for over one year. I have never been more than 10 days late on a payment. The car is in my husband's name, and he is currently incarcerated. Mr. ** had the car repossessed because of this. I asked him about community property, and he told me to call someone who cares. I then asked for his boss's name, and he told me that he is the boss and that there is no one else that I can speak to. He then told me to call someone that cares and hung up in my face.

nothing yet, he contacted me and says no cost to me, but he took some information about my financial status. Like expensed, food, gas, water, how much I owe on mortgage, and they offered to help me. Just fax w'2s, last 2 check stub, bank statement, and loan statement from my lender GMAC. I did apply to GMAC, but was turned down.

I retained this company for assistance with mortgage modification. I gave them a retainer of $1500.00 and sent them all requested information. Our mortgage provider has not been contacted by this company and my e-mails and calls have gone unanswered for over 2 weeks now. I am in imminent danger of foreclosure.
