Chrysler Financial

Scott of Midland City, AL August 2, 2009

My daughter, who once lived here at my home, had given Chrysler my home phone number to contact her concerning her car payment. She no longer lives here and Chrysler continues to call here, at any hour, on any day. I have informed several who have called, that she does not live here any more and hasn't for some time. They continue to call, day after day, just as resent as this morning, Sunday, 8/2/09 at 8:00 am.

Needless to say, I am furious with them, and look to stop this harassment. I am not responsible to convey messages for her, to her. She has given Chrysler her cell number, in order for them to contact her. I also have a vehicle financed through Chrysler and after this display by them, I will NEVER buy another product of theirs. So, how can you assist me in stopping this?

Charles of vernon, MI July 31, 2009

I was told I could turn in my lease car (still under miles) if I wanted to buy a "new" car. I had 4 payments left. I did do this but then found out they are going to resell the car and want me to pay the other 4 payments. I told them I was more then will to make the payment on this one and the new car but they had to give me my lease car back (it was still at the dealership) They said they wouldnt do that they wanted my money and to sell the car. I told I was not going to make payments on something I didnt have and Larry told me yes I was and this is the way chrysler financial does bussiness. the cost of this was over 1200.00 and I will never have another Chrysler car

Cherice of Redding, CA July 30, 2009

paid off my vehicle called about a letter I received from them dated the day after payoff. Mr Weaver said if you are paid why are you calling. I have no info that your account is paid. when I said you don't he said oh yeah here it is I was just verifing it with you. What are you called for just to complain. I said no I have some questions what is your name. Mr W he said. what is your extention he said you can call anyone here I said no I want yours. He said what is your problem if you car is paid off why are you calling you have it.

I called to file a complaint and customer service kept trying to transfer me back to the very rude guy. There is not a very formal process for filing a complaint with Chrysler. I don't know what to do. So customers are just supposed to take it..Uugh Spent 2 days on the phone dealing with them instead of working. 4 hours each day are you kidding me.

Patricia of Honaker, VA July 28, 2009

I have filed a complaint about Chrysler Financial before but this is in addition to my other complaint. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau this time. I have been late on my payments in the past, (three times) when I was sick and not working. However, I have been keeping my payments made since Oct, 2008. I recieved a call from Chrysler today informing me that they have not posted my May payment. Only in their words ; they claim I did not make my May payment. They claim they are reporting this to the credit bureau. This is defamation of chareater because I have my receipts. I send my payments in US Postal Money Order AND registered letter so I know that they receive my payments.

They call every day, several times a day when the payment is only one day late and I have a 10 day grace period on this account. I consider this harassment. Because of their phone calls I no longer have a personal phone contact number. They also have called my employer concerning my personal affairs. These two complaints use to be illegal - don't know if they still are or not. I spoke to a collections rep AND a woman who said she was a supervisor. Neither of them gave me their name; the time was 6:17 PM today. I have other complaints but will not review them at this point. However, I may file another complaint later if they continue to harass me.

Hello, I am writing regarding a servicing issue. In Feb. 2009 at 31, 984 miles the window regulator broke on my car (front driver's side). I paid out of pocket 183.91 for it to be fixed. In June my rear driver's side window broke the same way. I went to the service station and it will cost approx. 357 dollars to fix. The dealer stated there is a design problem and the track, regulator, and window needs to be replaced. My service contract and warranty are void. I find it very aggravating and unjust. If there is a design problem why should I be required to pay approx. 540 out of pocket for a car that is two years old. I am requesting assistance immediately. I will never purchase another Jeep. I expect a prompt response and action.

Jaime of Sacramento, CA July 21, 2009

Chrysler Financial failed to notified me that they were 2 late payments, I am the cosigner of this account and they supposed to notify me if this was happening as my credit is high priority to me; they went ahead and recorded that on my credit report.

Louise of Oak Hill, FL July 20, 2009

The dealership stated their hands were tied after we were at that time scammed into payments of 587.00 for five years. Then all hell broke lose when my car payment was more than my mortgage payment. I made on time payments for more than 3 years. Late payments was the inevitable when the economy flopped, 40 hours went to 25 and , I had several rude and threating CSR's, who were as useless as tits on a boar hog... Some called my job, called my house, making demands and started intimidating the people I listed as references, their night mares got worse.

My mother, became ill after they finally got their revenge after repossessing the vehicle as a lesson to me, not returning someone's phone call. I paid all types of towing, empound fees and a missed day of work, for processing and recovering the vehicle. I made serveral attempts to reconcile since I was told there is nothing they can do.. I called again and requested a slow pay agreement. Every 15 days a partial payment of 300. 00/They agreed and warned me of the late fees I would accumilate, regardless. I feel like some one that has been to Iraq, I suffer from depression, getting in my vehicle and suffer a panick attack like PDS when a see anything with a flatbed. Just inhumane and NASTY

Darla of Batavia, IL July 2, 2009

As my son became out of work, just like so many american men now days, he fell behind in his car payments with Chrysler. On 6/29/2009 @ 12:03 pm, I spoke with Mr. J and informed him that I had request a loan from my retirment plan to pay the debt off. I was quoted a pay out price and had up to 10 days to make that payment before the next payout price would change.

On 7/2/2009, way within the 10 day time period, I made the effort to get the car payment paid off and of course, as you can guess, they charged me way more then what I was quoted. I spoke with Ms C who was civil, but was in no way willing to honor Mr. J quote. Funny, how they don't give out 1st names, but need all the info from us. I believe the saying, what goes around, comes around! Chrysler people, I hope you get yours! I read many complaints on Chrysler, needless to say, you lost a customer with me and if by word of mouth helps, then so be it! It's really too bad Chrysler employees are not out to help the customers during this trying economical time.

Shannon of Puyallup, WA June 28, 2009

These people are very rude to begin with. They have lost my payment twice in the past year, which I had to stop a check and pay over the phone and then you get additional charges when you pay it by phone. We spoke with a woman from Chrysler Financial and made arrangements to pay our car payment. She said it was fine because it was within the "ten day grace period". Even though we set this arrangement up we are still getting calls from them. We got three within twelve hours and they are hang up calls. It is just harassment now. They are threatening us and trying to intimidate us. We've never been late or over the ten days, exept when they lost my payments twice.

Federico of Laguna Niguel, CA June 27, 2009

The most obnoxious, rude, ruthless people in the business. Calls start at home/cell/office, from 6 Am to 10pm after a few hours your payment is due. If you are thinking of purchasing a Dodge/Chrysler product, do NOT DO IT if you are planning on financing it through them.
