Extremely bad collection - They have called family members, acting as if they are of Gov. Authority and taking a summons out and needing to serve it. Indicating I could be arrested. These people called my daughter my mother, leaving messages friends. They are playing terrible tactics. My mother and daughter are in NC and I am in TX, mother is 74 years old with bad heart. She was so upset when they called. They are impersonating that they are having me arrested, when they have no rights to do so.

A $2600 loan is given without proper information. Once you begin making payments, you realize that you have been ripped off, 4600 dollars. You were already in a financial crisis when you went in and now you are placed on the edge of ruin. By having to pay huge interest on a loan that you were made to feel would be an easy credit boosting benefit.

I have just received a call from Brown & Travis Law firm stating that I owe you money. I know that I paid you back the money I borrowed. I wish they would stop calling me, because I am not paying you any money. 1-561-910-0042 is the number that they called from. They are talking about withholding my wages which they cannot do because I have paid you. Thanks for your time.

Check 'n Go in Cadillac, MI is like visiting your favorite nightmare. They know the third of the month is when people get their social security checks and they never have enough help. Every trip there and you know it will be hours. I can take out a mortgage on a home faster than they can hand you $200. Again today, one slow person working and 14 people waiting. People are walking out all the time because they simply can not wait in line so long.

Your Check 'n go employee in oak park MI need to quit. She is not happy with her job. She is always so very rude. I will never use Check 'n go again. When she is asked questions, she snaps back at customers with a look like just shut up and don't ask questions. Her attitude states and says I wish customers never walk through the door. She should just quit. It had been about 7 months before I needed your services and I have received loans in the past from Check 'n go you would think this employee would have gotten better but she has gotten worse.

She is always rude, nasty and very short with her answers. When asked questions she just looks back and says with her facial expression, just go and get the heck out of here and stop asking me questions. I will never return to check 'n go again, granted I am just one customer - but key word "customer." She needs Customer Service Training!

I was given a $3000 loan at Check N Go where the employee gave me false and misleading information about a installment loan. I was told that I would only pay $500 interest on the loan but this documentation could not be given to me until after 72 hours. I called back everyday to get the information but was given false information about the contract. The 72 hours came, this is when Check n Go informed me that I had to pay $4100 back on the loan. I pay a thousand dollars on the loan for 3 months but only interest. I basically paid another $3000 to pay the loan off. The $3000 I paid the 3 months still had me owing $3000. I'm probably going to sue the employee for giving me false information in regards to the loan. I guess they may be getting a commission to lie to customers.

I arrived at 11:35 and was not even acknowledged til about 12:00. There were two workers behind the glass, and they took thirty minutes for either one of them to at least help me. The location is Houston-Spanish Trail ** Houston, TX. 77021. This will definitely be the last time I come, and do business with Check 'n Go. I will spread the word about how sorry the service was, and definitely will not recommend them.

I am getting calls at my house for a guy (Dallas **) not paying his bill. I am his boss, I have nothing to do with his bill payment. I do not want to be bothered with this anymore.

I was a longstanding customer with Check n Go, even though I was not a happy customer due to the highway robbery of the loan repayments. But as most people in the situation to need a loan of this nature, I had no choice. I fell behind due to the loan repayments being $780.00 a month. They will not work with you at all on this. The loan get sent to some corporate office personnel who calls and tries to bully and scare you into giving them a credit card number "even if you tell them there is no money on the card." I mean, really, seriously. That should be illegal! That's how I got in this mess to begin with!

I will be filing complaints to whoever will listen on this due to the two corporate people calling me with no concern whatsoever and the rudeness of the people calling as if I was stupid. I'm not stupid, just having financial difficulties like just about all of America!

Check 'n Go loans are highway robbery! Not only do they provide you with insufficient and inadequate information, the customer service is pathetic! I made the huge mistake of taking out a $2600.00 loan, which was supposed to be set up in bi-weekly installments of $300.00. And I was told the loan would be paid off in 5 months. I went in to make my first payment and they refused to take my payment. They told me my loan payments were set up monthly! Mind you when I took this loan out, the place was so packed with people and only 1 person was waiting on people. I made my payments. When I found out that I still had a balance of over $2000.00 after 4 months, I was shocked. They told me that only $300.00 of the $2400.00 that I had paid went towards principal! They collected $2100.00, which was interest, on a $2600.00 loan in 4 months!

They should not be allowed to conduct business. They play on people's ignorance. They don't provide the proper information about the loan. They will not work with you nor will they work with a consumer credit counseling agency or debt management companies. They force people into bankruptcy! Consumers need to band together to fight companies like this from doing business. They are hurting the consumer who is already in a tough economic predicament and literally ripping them off! Shame on Check 'n Go!

I obtained a loan on 07/26/2011 with a loan amount of $600.00. Life of loan is 07/26/11 to 01/06/12 = 165 days, if carried full term. Payout date 08/19/11 is equals to 25 Days. $711.16 amount of interest owed if carried full term. Prorated per day interest charged should be $4.31. Amount of interest charged for 25 days should be $107.75. Why was I charged $144.00, which is a rate of $5.76 per day? I truly want some justification for this rate or I will take this up further. Thank you.

I have been doing business with Check 'n Go for about a year now. I usually do the pay-day loans, because I know exactly what I'm paying back with the flat $50 fee. But some stuff happened and I needed more money, so I opted for the $2,600.00 loan. Now I know that if you wait to pay back the loan with the installment payments, you end up paying 50% interest, which is absurd. But I planned on paying the loan back early, so I knew the pay-back amount would be much less. Well, what they don't tell you is that they charge you a daily interest that include weekends (even though they are closed on weekends) and the interest starts at approximately $15-$17 a day at the first day of deposit. The daily interest goes down as you make your payments but those first payments basically go straight to the interest, not to your loan. I went to pay-off my loan in full within the first 2 weeks and found out my $298.00 payment went straight to the interest and I still owed $2,685.00 on a $2,600.00 loan!

For 3 weeks, I got charged almost 400 dollars. What pisses me off more is that there was a banking error that happened Monday, it's still not resolved because they aren't open on the weekends. I can't pay this loan off until Monday. I have all the money to pay this stupid thing off today! But since the new accumulated amount isn't in their system yet and won't be until Monday, they won't let me make any payments until then. However, they will charge me 17 daily interests until Monday including Sat and Sun when they aren't even open to make a payment. Lame! I will never use this company again! And I plan on reporting them to every agency I can for this nonsense.

I took out a payday loan and paid it back on the day it was due to be paid. The store kept the check, and two months later, deposited the check. When I called to inquire as to why they are depositing it, they acted like it was my bank's fault. They gave me the run around about who I needed to talk to to resolve the matter. I was hung up on by several different persons. They are very uncooperative.

I don't like the fact that Check' n Go advertise and tell customers that their online service for mobile phone is accessible, but it's not! Every time I try it from my cellphone it doesn't work. And when you call customer service, they always tell me that site is under construction, which has been going on for almost six months.

I personally think check n go is a horrible business who cares nothing about their employees or customers except ripping them off on high interest loans by desperation on a customer who has no choice. You took away the loan thats in the middle just so you can be more greedy. I have witnessed the big wigs come in while I was there and treating the veteran workers like pure crap! The 2,600 dollar loan is a joke and wasnt explained right that about how much you guys make off us in our time of desperation while check n go lines their pockets and pays their employees crap wages! I actually interviewed a former employee who HAD to work her lunch break because you guys are that greedy!!!

when My loan is paid off I will find another place that is more fair to customers and their employees who work their butts off and you dont reward them...unless you count threats as rewards. Your company should feel ashamed that you guys are the way you are...and I will let others know how you operate by taking advantage of the middle class who bust their butts including your employees! Why dont you reward them instead of threaten them! To charge double for a 2,600 dollar loan should be illegal...Is it??

I have had loans with ChecknGo for quite a while and have paid them off and took out another one which I was going to give a payment which was due on my pay day, 18 Mar 11. When I first took out a loan with them, I told them that I will always be there on payday after work which is after 4:30. I have never failed with my payments and have been there as soon as I got out of work. I would even call them that I was on my way just to make sure they knew I was going to be a little late but was always there before they closed.

When I was transferred to Randolph I told her of the change of phone number. They even called me once at Randolph and when I changed my cell number I also provided them with the new number. Well, last week when I got paid I didn't get the usual call from them and was going to call them but my boss had me take care of some business for him so I was not able to give them a call but when I finished my work I left work a little early so I could go to the bank and get the money to pay them and headed as fast as I could to make it over there.

When I got there the attendee told me she had bad news. She said that "they" the company send in my checks (given to them when you get a loan just in case you don't pay them off) because the attendee could not get in touch with me. I told her that I never received a call and she said she called me at my cell and at work. I told her I didn't get either. I checked with her on what number she was calling and she was calling old numbers when I had given her an update on all the phone numbers and I told her why the change wasn't made.

All she told me was "Anyway, it's your obligation to call us if we don't call you" to find out what time you will be coming. I told her that I had already told her I will be here after work same time like always but she said that was the company's "new" policy. This is ridiculous since I have always been there on time and have never failed them and they do this to me. As soon as I got home I checked my account and the checks had already gone through which means they had put them in two days before my payment was due. I was not due to make the payment until my payday, 18 March 2011. I could understand if I didn't go that day to pay them; then I would understand if they would put them in after my due date but two days before it was due. They ended up screwing my account which I am now over $400 in the hole. This is not right when they give you a due date and they don't go by it.

In 2004, me and my family lived in NC, living pay check to pay check we went to Check N Go and got a payday loan now in 2011. They are trying to take me and my wife to court for trying to de fraud them but in Oct 2004, we moved to PA and just now we hear about this, they said that the loans were from 7/22/04 for my wife and 06/03/2004 for mine and we never heard anything till now today is 01 21 2011. When we called them to find information, they were rude and said that they have no papers that they will send and it's not our right to know is there anything that we can do now? Because we still live payday to payday with 2 kids and we really can't afford going to court and paying all these fees they said we will have to pay please contact me ASAP with any kind of info thank you for your time.

About a year and a half ago, I acquired a loan from Check-n-Go in Bedford, Texas. I had paid on the loan punctually and took out subsequent loans and followed suit as with the first. When I first took out the loan, the store manager had informed me that Check-n-Go did report to all 3 credit bureaus.

I specifically asked if they reported even when the loan was paid on-time. She replied with a, "yes". Later, as I checked my report, I came to find out the company did not report any of my good status loans to the credit-reporting bureaus. I called the store and spoke with, Debbie, the store manager, who I tried to resolve the issue with.

I requested that the company place my good credit loans on the report and I would pay whatever expenses were incurred. The manager turned down my offer after speaking with her manager about the issue. I tried to offer a solution but was quickly rejected. I think it's fair that I made my payments on time, the company made several hundreds of dollars off of me that these loans be noted on the credit reports at my expense. Please help me resolve this issue.

On 8-31-2010, I went into Check 'n Go to get a cash advance. I spoke with Dianne and told her I wanted the $2600 loan. I asked her that if I get this loan, will I have a penalty or interest if I pay it off in full on 9-30-2010. She said, "I don't believe so". She explained to me that if I make an 8 monthly installment that I would be charged interest then. Knowing that I was going to pay the $2600 at the end of the month, I signed the contract. On 9-30-2010, I went in to pay my loan and Dianne told me that my total payment was going to be $3000.48.

I was in shock, I didn't expect that. I explained to her that it wasn't what she told me a month ago. She was very rude, arrogant, and less than truthful. She stated, "Do you think I'm just going to lend you $2600 and not charge you interest? How do you think we're gonna make our money!". I asked to speak with her boss and she handed me the phone, and I spoke with Bob **. He was the same way, he said the exact same thing. On 10-01-2010 at approximately 0700am, I called the District Office for Check 'n Go and they transferred me back to Mr. **.

I explained to him that the contract I signed states, "If you pay off early, you will not have to pay a penalty and you may be entitled to a refund of part of the Finance Charge". He told me that the contract doesn't have to say it, and that I should know that I was going to be charged interest. Yes I know there was going to be interest on $2600, but $400 for 30 days is outrageous! I've tried talking to the owner of Check 'n Go and called a local attorney. He said I have a good case, but I don't have the funds to hire him. I called Better Business Bureau and all they can help me with is to file a complaint. I don't know what else to do but to pay this ridiculous amount of interest or not pay it at all and see if he takes me to court.

I'm stressing out because if I don't pay this amount, they have four post dated checks of $840 that they told me they will cash all at once by the 15th of October. If that happens all my monthly bills will all be overdrawn, the bank then will charge me $29 plus each for every late or overdrawn fees. My bank will not cancel the post dated checks. So please help me. If I'm in the wrong and I should pay this amount, then I will.

I had a check with Check 'n Go pay day loans. I was unable to pay them, so was told by another payday lender the only way to get out was to either let check bounce or stop check and make arrangements. I attempted to make arrangements with them and they had a very unscrupulous person call and try to brow beat me. He told me he wasn't trying to intimidate me but was. Today 8/25, I was contacted by Aron from Allstate and the person was very threatening. I told him that I was planning on paying but on payments, he kept talking about litigation etc. He finally hung up and I called back and made payments with Bobby.

After I got off phone, got concerned that nothing was in writing, called back and they refused to put me through. The lady kept saying I would get a summons to court and then that Bobby was coming to my job. It was crazy. Then she said she erased all my payment information and hung up on me.

I paid my loan off and they claim that I never did. Two hundred fifty five dollars, I figure, is the amount these people claim I did not pay off.

I had an open account with Check N GO at Rivers Ave location North Charleston SC. And I am tired of the rudeness I have experience with both of the clerks working there and one being the manager. My payment history is, I would drop my payments off after the close of their business day due to the fact that I work from 9am until 6pm and cannot make it there before.

I have been getting phone calls from them, the first started Saturday July 25,2010 I was not able to answer, they then called back Monday 07/26/10 at 10:34 which I then answer that call and confirmed payment will be in on 07/30/10. I then got another call Wednesday 07/28 and again I answered this time it was the manager calling to confirm. I then told her I just spoke with the female working Monday morning to confirm, the manager said, she would notate my account.

I then got a phone call again 07/29/10 at 10:34 am from the same women I spoke to on Monday asking again to confirm so now at this point I'm livid because I can't understand why all the phone calls in one week. These are the hours I'm working and they don't leave messages on my cell so I have to answer each call which is taking time away from me being on my computer at work due to the fact that we cannot answer personal calls on our cell at our desk. I called the women back (please forgive me but I did not catch her name) and asked her why so many calls what's in my file that you all have to call me like this.

She began to yell saying, they have to call and she now has it notated that she spoke with me her tone was very rude to the point of yelling. I tried to explain to her that this is harassment and rude. She cut me off and told me I was being rude because I hung the phone up on her which I will admit I did, with the amount of work I have to get done I didn't have time to keep talking and confirming something that I have done 3 times this week. July 30th, I again got a phone call from the manager rudely demanding that I come in before the close of business to make a payment or legal actions will be taken out on me. Now, how is this possible when my payment is due on that day, they offer a night drop box which I have been using to make my payments because by the time I get off from work they are closed. I had to close my account early because as a customer I do not deserve this type of treatment.

This is not the first time I've experiencing rudeness with them. I do understand this type of company is basically considered high risk loans but for their employees to treat people this way is unacceptable and should not be tolerated. I have called and left two messages with the District Manager and he has yet to call back to acknowledge my complaint, I've also sent an email to their complaint address and again no response. Check N Go should not be in business if this is their only method of poor customer service.

I recently had a payday loan with this company, which I've since paid in full. Today, I called them just to request an email confirmation that my loan has been paid in full. Although they confirmed that the loan has in fact been paid in full, the representative stated that an email or any other type of written notification was not an option. I found this amazing, and asked for a supervisor. A very rude woman then took the call and refused to provide me her name, and confirmed that they would not provide me anything to confirm my loan was paid.

They have no difficulty sending email reminders when their payment is due, but seems that what I'm asking for is out of the question. I've since reported this to the California attorney general's public inquiry unit as well as the California dept of corporations, both of whom oversee payday lenders in this state. I want to caution everyone to not deal with this company. If you truly need a payday loan, find someone else. Check n go is no good! They refused to provide me a statement that my balance is paid in full.

I am using CCCSN to pay off some pay day advances. When I called Check n Go to tell them I was going to do this and needed to get them paid back, the manager was very nice and told me that I would have 55 days before any collections so I could either start paying them then or better yet to start before that time. It has not been a month yet and I received a letter, which was no big deal. They told me that they used a system that was going to list me as a bad check and sure enough my grocery store wouldn't let me write a check, but I figured well it would be taken off when I got them paid.

The next night, a man called me. Sorry to say I didn't get his name. Started out usual way but pretty soon he was trying to get me to admit that I meant to default them. I told him I had been a long time customer and they had made a lot of money on me and that I would pay them back but needed time. He said they would only take $125 per payment every 2 weeks, explained that I had other creditors as well so it would not be that much. He started telling me that after the 55 days, they would sell it to someone else that would be much more aggressive and then said, "I'm not trying to intimidate you," which obviously he was.

I told him I would not tolerate being harassed when I am in fact promising I will pay them off. He's very unpleasant guy to deal with. It especially bothers me because I always paid them on time, no problems and I called the manager before I put the stop on the check to tell her what I was doing and she seemed to understand that and be ok with what I was telling her. I intended to pay them outside of the CCCSN program but since they are apparently not going to be decent, have put them on it.
