I have used Chase Bank for approx. 17 years although it was first, Northside Bank and then Bank One. I have two visitation/therapy dogs that are highly trained and go with me everywhere that has no food or clothing. After 8 years of going in the bank and being welcomed by Chase staff and customers, I was suddenly told, No dogs allowed. I realize this man may have been afraid of dogs, and he was certainly ignorant, as he told me to tie the dogs out front which is againt the law and opens them to theft and injury. He also said they would go to the bathroom inside. I explained about therapy dogs and that they are as highly trained as service dogs, but they do a different job. They do go to the bathroom before entering a facility and they never bark outside their own yard.

We do go to all our banks and the other banks all welcome the dogs. These are 22 lb. shaggy terriers. Not large dogs. I am going to notify the local animal groups such as AAPAW of what happened. Many, and there are many, of the animal workers will not go to a store, etc. if it is not dog friendly. I have encouraged them to go to Chase now I will discourage them. I told him I would have them wear the Therapy Dogs Inc. jacket to the bank. He said, no. TDI is a national organization based in WY and is on the internet.

This makes it difficult for me because the dogs are always with me. I feel this person is discriminating against dogs that are well trained, clean, and leashed on a 3 ft. leash. I want to know why this happened.

The Wamu to Chase conversion has been a horrible experience. I called customer service and they were rude and not helpful. I had a automatic payment with Wamu and Chase did not honor it and I received a 39 dollar late fee. They increased my APR and added a bunch of fees associated with this card. They are unwilling to make any credits and only offer us to payoff the card.

I have had to pay late fees and other misc fees along with the increase in APR.

Chase took over my Providian account last month. I went online a few days before the payment was due as I always do to make the full payment. The site said it was temporarily unavailabe and it wouldn't be back up until the day my payment was due. I decided to go ahead and drop the payment in the mail. It still should have and very likely did get there on time. If it was late not only would it have been postmarked on time but this would have been at their fault.

I called them as soon as I got the 39.00 late fee on my next statement explaining all of this. The woman I talked to said they can not take off the late charge. She also told me I could have called to make a payment because they had waived the late fee due to the online mess. I did not call because I knew there was a fee and was not notified that it would be waived. She didn't see a problem with the fact that I wasn't notified, insisted the late charge could not be removed. I then asked her to close my account and she did. They would rather lose the business of someone who has always made her payments on time in the past and has very good credit then remove this bogus charge.

39 fee, 4.68 interest

The bank gave me a credit card with free account transfers for one year no interest. And new purchases 7.7 percent. I took them up on it and ever since they keep telling me cause they dont get payment within this few day window im charged late fees and also keep uping my interest to 27.7 percent. Thats just in 6 months. I argue and say i pay all my bills on the 10th or the 12th of the month and i havent missed a payment yet and have the paper i printed online to prove it, but their records show im late.I even paid three to four times the minumum amount due.

The damage is mental as well as you cannot get the balance paid off if they keep upping the interest rate and puting on unjust late fees.Soemtimes i paid them twice in one month and was still considered being late with my payment cause of the small window of days they can only recieve the payment.
