I have a payday loan with CashYes. This is my second loan with them. The first loan, I paid off. This loan I took is for $1,250 and the interest rate is $312.50 bi-weekly. I have already paid $1,250 in interest. I called today to speak with someone named Tyrone who identified himself as the manager. I asked that the loan be zeroed out since I paid them the principal that they gave me, but they refused. I just found out payday loans are not legal in NYS. Can you help me?

I was told at the time I borrowed this cash that I would be making a once-a-month payment. But, now I see that they are taking their payment every time I get paid, which is bi-weekly. I've paid what they call the "interest" of $63 + $127.50 x (2) and I haven't even had anything paid towards the value of the loan, and they've already upped what I borrowed by $125. I feel like I'm being unduly taken advantage of. I want this to stop. I can't afford to pay these people (not from the States) their expectancy of clearing my account out.

I received a pay-day loan a couple of months ago and unfortunately have defaulted. I have been constantly harassed with numerous phone calls on a daily basis and I have been threatened with malicious intent to defraud and two counts of check fraud charges. They gave me an affidavit number but I have not received anything in the mail or otherwise.
This has been very stressful. I am just going back to work full-time and I would like to repay this loan, but I have not had the funds to do so. It was never my intent to get the funds and then not repay the loan.

I am unable to find out if this company is registered to do business in U.S. They are charging $180 interest per month for a $300 loan. I am never able to catch up on paying the principle of the loan. This eventually caused other bills to be late.

My Husband Borrowed 700.00 dollars from this company. In January of 2011. As for Friday July 8th 2011 this company has taken 1974.50 from my checking account.
When my husband called they told him we still have a balance of 300.00 dollars owing. That means we will have paid over 2200.00 dollars by the time this 700.00 dollar loan is paid off? I'm not sure how this is legal.

We understood that we will pay $90.00 every two weeks until loan was paid for. However, we found out we pay $90.00 every two weeks until we can pay for the full amount of $390.00. We have already paid them $270.00, completely clueless of the scam. It's horrible. How is this legal? If people could come up with the money in full, they would never have to borrow.
