Sasan of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA August 4, 2008

Sasan of Rancho Palos Verdes CA (08/04/08)
Theme:Ford pick up Vin#xxxxx...833333 I bought the above vehicle from Penninsola dealership in March 2008,at the time of purchase i didn't have the insurance, however two days latter, through P.D. insurance paper was faxed to Bank of the West, Since then, they are claming that they haven't received any insurance paper, neither from me or penninsola dealership, and they charging me for insurance coverage for my pick up, which i am 191 delinquent in there opinion,

nevertheless the last insurance document was sent to bank of the west, through my own insurance company, which is as followes.

Bank of the West have caused me great deal of stress, since they are keep threating me that if i do not purchase a car insurance form them for my pick up,they would report me to credit card company.

Peter of Sayville, NY June 3, 2008

Peter of Sayville NY (06/03/08)
I purchased a boat in 2003 from a Dealer here on Long Island, N.Y. The bank the got me my loan from was the Bank of the West. During the course of the loan we ran into financial problems, the summer of '06 to be exact. We were often late in making payments and on occasion bounced a check, but we loved the boat and always found a way to make payment.

At one point the account was referenced to a higher end representative who was demanding we make payment to her, but my wife made payment through the regular customer service department. When I informed this woman of the fact we made payment she was very upset. I think because she did not get credit for getting the payment. She then asked where we kept our boat, I informed where it was at that time. It was in for repair at that time and not at our regular marina.

Within 2 or 3 months or so we were late in making payment and the boat was repossesed with no notice or pohne calls. When we called we were told that because we lied about where the boat was, the boat was taken and was in Maryland with several thousand dollars of my personal property aboard. They said the marina we gave as the location of the boat during my conversation with that representative did not exist. The Marina did exist, they just were looking at the section of the marina that had closed. However the main marina was still open and that was where our boat was when they inquired.

Subsequent to that we took the boat back after the repairs to our regular slip and marina. I was not going to be able to pay for shipping to and from Maryland plus all the other fees for what I felt was a repossesion based on spite by that woman and incorrect information on the location of our boat gathered by their repo agency.

We would never have let the boat go, but their unnecessary actions made it impossible to handle this any other way. What was owed on the boat was less than what it was worth, so without hearing from The Bank of the West we assumed that was the end of the ordeal.

This was very upsetting to me and my family, due the fact that we were late making a payment we lost the prize possesion of our family. Now they are trying to collect 17,000.00, saying that was the difference between what was owed and what they sold it for. The boat was in immaculate condition and I made a significant down payment. If they sold it for as little as they say, then they gave the boat away. I not only have no intention of paying them, but want to know if I have any right to sue them?

Edward of Perris, CA November 29, 2007

Edward of Perris CA (11/29/07)
I was called up for Operation Iraqi freedom and returned home injured. I contacted the bank since we were late a few time because of my medical situation but before we made our payments on time. They told me that we could not get a diferment. I ask why because I was late a few times. All I was told was to make payments or they would take the van. This was my wife's van. they were rude so I got rude back. They told me I was not on the loan, so I said fine, but they sent a tow truck to my mom and dad's house to bug them about the the van to which they know nothing about . All I've gotten was harrased and spoken to rudely by the Bank of the West employees.  Please help disable vet.

I have stress and more stress about the situation. I got a differment from my bank on my car. 6 times they worked with me but, Bank of the West have made nothing but threats about lawyers to me and again I'm not on the loan.
