I borrowed $300. I was told I could pay the amount in full plus $150 interest, but when I wanted to make the payment, I was told that I could not do this and that the payments could only be automatically debited from my account and only the amount they set. I tried to pay online and was unable to so. To date, I have paid $585 in interest and only $150 toward the principal. This is ridiculous and outrageous. They post on the web and say over the phone that you can explore other payment options but then when you go to their website or ask on phone, you find out that there are no other payment options. They take what they want when they want. I understand that it's my fault my credit is shot but that doesn't make me a bad person. Money is tight and I needed help but I should not have to pay three times what I borrowed and then deal with a company who is clearly misrepresenting themselves. Do not use any cash advance agency. You will pay far more than you borrowed and only make your financial situation worse.

I asked for a $200.00 loan, and now I have paid $180.00, plus the $200.00 I originally owe. I will never deal with this company again. I am changing my account numbers.
On December 28th I borrowed $300.00 from this company. On the 3rd, 17th, 31st, and 2-14 they deducted $90.00 each and today they deducted another $140.00. So we are now up to $500.00 plus they are scheduled to take another $125.00 out on the 13th. And they say my balance is still $250.00. $900.00 for a $300 loan--what the **! Plus the website says to contact them to make other arrangements. I did because I didn't have the money in the account for their withdrawal today. I asked them to hold off and I was going to pay the balance on Friday, March 2 but they said that once the loan is given there is nothing they can do to change payments. Why then? Does the website tell you to call and make other arrangements if they will not help?
They put the withdrawal through anyway and bounced 3 checks for $108.00 in NSF fees. I called the bank and they can't put a stop payment through because it will take 3 days for it to go through and the money will be paid by then. It is disgusting, the way some companies work. There should be a law against charging so much interest, which I found out is 900 and some percent with them. If anyone is reading these complaints, take them to heart and go somewhere else if it is absolutely necessary. Don't get started on these cash advances because you never get out from under them. Now, I have to try some other place to get the money to pay everything off so my regular household bills and rent are taken care of. This ** big time! I wish I would have read this before hand. Hindsight!

In early December, I signed up for a payday loan from AdvanceMeToday.com, a company out of New York and/or Puerto Rico. The loan agreement I signed clearly states I was to borrow $500 plus a finance charge of $150 totaling $650. To be paid back to AdvanceMeToday.on my next payday (12/15/11). I have a copy of the loan agreement. However, they withdrew funds as follows: On 12/15, $150; 12/30, $150; 1/15, $150; total amount $450.
I called to ask why they had not withdrawn the total amount due of $650 on 12/15 as originally agreed. They told me they have no such agreement and will continue to withdraw money out of my account until they are satisfied. At this date, they have issued a withdrawal from my bank account for $650 on 1/30/12. I contacted my bank and had them put a stop payment on this transaction due to a dispute over charges.
I am more than happy to pay this company the $200 I still owe them per our original agreement. I do not and will not be scammed out of an additional $400. I am making a complaint against a company that is trying to victimize me out of more money than was agreed upon according to the loan contract. Thank you.

I borrowed $500.00, as I needed to pay some outstanding bills. The $500.00 was deposited in my account on 8/18. I have had a variety of payments taken out of my account, for each one of my paydays. Up until 12/23, the total amount they have taken from my account is $1450.00 for a $500.00 loan! I still have $325.00 left to pay for a grand total of $1775.00! This is flat out robbery! It's bad enough the government rips us off, but this is illegal as it gets.

I took a payday loan for $500.00. It was explained to me that the cost of the loan would be $25.00 per $100.00 borrowed, when in actuality, we were being charged over $600.00 in finance charges for a $500.00 loan. To make matters worse, when we tried to pay off the loan earlier in order to prevent accruing even more interest charges, we were told that we would be charged extra for an early payoff. We were blatantly lied to about the cost of the loan. Biggest scam ever, setting us back even more during this stressful holiday season.

This company lied to me about the amount of money that I had to pay back. They said they sent me documents, but they didn't. They keep taking money out of my account and telling me that was all interest, that I had to keep paying more money. On their website, it states one thing about repayment. According to them, it's something different.
They took four payments of $105. I thought this was the repayment for the loan, because it says for a $350.00 loan, you would end up paying $455 in interest and fees in total. That is what I thought. I thought that for a $350.00 loan, I would have to pay back $455. That is what the girl told me. So, they took out four payments of $105.00 and then took another $155. Today they said it was all interest. This company is from another country and should not be allowed to run this scam in the US. I am going to find out if there is something that can be done to prevent this from happening to someone else.

I requested a loan from AdvanceMeToday on 9/15 and they wired the money in my bank account on 9/16. They told me that my account will be charged $150 every two weeks which would have been on 9/29. I requested the date change after realizing that my pay was going to be on 9/30 but they would not change it. I spoke to my job and they issue my pay check on 9/29. I was very upset with AdvanceMeToday because they would not change the date so I told them in a heat of anger that I would close my bank account. But then, I called back and spoke to a Michelle and she said okay.
I went to my bank today and they took the whole amount of $650 out of my account, which caused a negative balance and any checks to bounce. I called them and chatted online with Nicholas **. He said that because I requested to close the account, they had the right to take the entire amount. I spoke to a manager and told her that it was not what was agreed upon and that they lied and misled me. She said that they go by the word of the consumer. I said, "I was upset that's why I said that the account be closed but you could see that my bank account was open."
I just think this company is a fraud and deceptive. The charged me an extra $150 for fees. Now, I have to pay bank fees to get my account out of negative status. I am very upset and I am more upset with myself that I fell for their lies and misleading information. I went on my facebook account and posted to all my friends not to use this company because they are frauds and full of lies. I don't know what else to do to make sure nobody else will go through what I am going through right now. I am in the process of talking with my bank and hopefully they can help me. But if not, I will just have to pay the bank fees and go from there. I will never trust another loan company.

AdvanceMeToday.com tried to scam me to take a loan and e-sign before they even give terms of the loan, fees, loan schedule etc. Please warn people of this site. I looked up their reviews after and they are horrific. Then I got angry with them and hung up, and someone from their company called me back and asked to speak to the human resources person at my company. It's a payday loan service, so you have to put down who you work for.

They used confusing and deceptive verbiage to dupe me into believing that I was paying my loan back. Whereas in reality, they were applying my payments toward their fees and interest only--leaving the principal untouched. They took $1,200 out of my account on a $600 loan before my husband got involved and demanded they refund the ill-gotten gains. I have been defrauded out of $1,200. I am being harassed and threatened by their Recovery Department. They continue to attempt to make unauthorized withdrawals from my checking account.

I borrowed $300 around Christmas because I was low on funds. I was told it would be taken out in equal payments. What they did not tell me is the first two months, I'd be paying interest only. So far it's now March and they've taken over $600 out of my account and still say I have $200 left on the principal. Do not use this company or it will cost you at least 3 times what you borrowed.

I requested a payday loan for $300. When I called the representative told me my loan would be $390. I told him that was fine. I told him that I would rather pay that whole balance my next check because I did not want to accrue finance charges. He said he can set me up on that option, but then he said he can set me up to pay $90 every paycheck which will go toward my principal balance. I was fine with that. He did not mention anything about this being a finance charge and buying me time and when I'm done I will still owe $390! I would have never done that. I make enough money to pay the $390 in one check, why accrue finances charges? On 12/07, I did a chat with a rep named Carolina, who was very unprofessional. She did not want to help and only gave me the three options over and over, which I wasn't asking for.
This is how I came to find out that the $270 I paid out was finance charges and are not going towards my balance. I thought I was almost done with my loan! I called customer service 12/08. First, I was hung up on which they say they have no record of; then I spoke to manager named Nelli. She was a joke. Worse than the reps. She basically told me that I need to read the agreement I signed and call her back and that she has no corporate number for me. I asked her for my call recordings and she said she's not able to get those for me. She was so rude, unprofessional, and was not empathetic at all for my situation. She was also yelling and I told her I did not want to argue, I just wanted it to be solved.
Afterwards I called again to see if a rep would give me the corporate number. Catarina told me I already spoke to the manager and hung up on me! I was willing to pay my balance of $120 on 12/21, but not $390. All those $90 payments were supposed to go towards my balance, so now they want me to pay $390 plus $270? That was not agreed to and definitely not explained to me. Even though, I called the rep to have the options explained more clearly and told him, I do not want extended payments because that comes with high finance charges! This company should not be in business. I still owe $390 to this company after paying $270, which was supposed to be going toward my loan!

I received a 300 dollar cash advance loan. I called to reset my password and pay off my account in the amount of 390 dollars. The women who I spoke with told me that 90 dollars was being taken out and I could just pay the rest on my next pay period. I said, "okay, so I don't have to pay it off today" and she said, no. She failed to tell me that with in the next 15 days I will be paying an addition 90 dollars.
When I called to complain about the lack of information relayed to me and about the extra money, Johanna ** told me that the other woman was supposed to go over payment plans with me, which the previous woman failed to do. I wanted to make a complaint so I asked for director of operations information. Johanna said I could reach the director, Nelli **, between two and three eastern time. I called Nelli during that time, left a message and then called back to see if I could directly be routed to her.
Johanna tried transferring, however, she still could not be reached. So I called back a few hours later, finally able to reach Nelli. Nelli preceded to tell me that I needed to read the agreement. That I should save money instead of taking out a loan. I ask her for a copy of my file and their corporate address. She said I was a smart girl and should know how to use the internet. She was extremely disrespectful. I was harassed and not listened too. I asked her if she could stop and listen to me and she told me, no.
I don't think someone of her position should disrespect and treat their customers like that. I had an issue and wanted her to correct her employees mistakes. I know I was never going to get my money back, but I wanted the problem to be fixed so it wouldn't happen to another customer. I ask her who resided over her and she told me she was it, and I have to deal with her. She was extremely condescending and rude. She wouldn't stop making insulting remarks. I don't think her behavior is acceptable and I would like something to be done.

Payday loan taken 150 dollars every 2 weeks for nothing, but interest is illegal in GA. Please help!
