last year I bought the new tranlens glasses at walmart paid 500.00 for these glasses. I'am an older man so I took very good care of them, no abuse. The frames broke into. I took them back to see if they could fix or replace them, but I didn't get any decent response, very dissappointed I got treated this way,I will never purchase glasses there again.

I had an eye exam at Walmart a little over a year ago for glasses and contacts. It took several tries to get the contacts right where I could see, and that is normal. (first time for glasses or contacts, I am far sighted) The eyeglasse I could never see out of very well, and after a few weeks I noticed they looked scratched so I took them in again and was told that I must have scratched them. I took very good care of them, cleaned with a special eyeglass cleaning cloth which I showed the girls there and they approved.

Well recently I went to another eye Doctor and had an exam, not only was the RX different, but when he checked the lens, He told me that they are not scratched but the protective coating is coming off and they should be warranted 1 to 2 years. Wal-mart only warrants them for 30 days, and I was back their within 30 days, now they will not offer me any type of solution. I've been back in the past year at least 15+ times.

The glasses were very expensive, so now I am out of Luck.

I had an eye exam and bought a pair of glasses from Wal-Mart. Everyone was very helpful and nice to work with. My complaint is about the quality of the frames that I purchased. I paid 120 for these frames and they literally fell apart within 4 months. First, the coating on the frames started peeling off and then the protective plastic on the bows came off.

I went back to Wal-Mart and asked them what they would do about it. I was told there was a 60 day warranty and since that was over, they would do nothing. The technician said, "It's not so bad, mine are peeling too."I work in a professional office environment and need to look good. I cannot wear these hideous frames that are falling apart! I since have gone and spent more money on another pair of glasses from what I feel to be a more qualified and caring practice that sells quality product.

December '07 I purchased a prescription pair of glasss. The frames were 136.00. (The total price for the glasses were 411.00) The rubber earpieces started splitting and falling apart. I took them to the center where I purchased them and was notified the warranty was good for 60 days! What a ripoff! This is absurd! The only alternative I was offered was the purchase of another frame. This would be throwing good money after bad! STAY AWAY FROM WALMART VISION CENTER.

I now have a 411 dollar set of 10 month old eyeglasses that I might use if I can tape up the earpieces. Cute. I will also have to get another eye exam at and purchase another set of glasses. I have no insurance.

I ran out of contacts, and called to see where I could buy some until my order came in from another source. Bob was very nice the first time, and said come in and I will give you 5 days to get by....I used those up, and found out my order was still not ready to ship, so I saw Bob, and asked if I could buy a couple pairs to get by until my order came in..He was VERY RUDE, and said I ran out...

I asked if there was any other options, maybe he had another brand or whatever, and I would glad to pay for them..He said I said NO... That evening I called the store again to see if anyone there know a place where I could go buy some, Heather answered and said to just come in and she would take care of me Thank you VERY MUCH HEATHER...You know in a world where customer service determines where we shop, I will definitely have to reconsider Walmart Vision Center - Anthem. If I do, it will not be becauuse of your BOB.
