I paid $400 on November 10. I haven't received any job since then. I was told 2 weeks ago a company would call me directly. I haven't heard anything. Today, I went personally to Rescue One and was told that the company I'm supposed to work for said they called me. I don't even know the name of the company or its location. Thanks.

The recruiter whose name is **, talks about weed , how he got away with flirting with a woman, and how he was in the Marines. He has no respect for himself or for anyone. I know the Marines teaches people respect and this guy is nuts. When I listened to what he had to say about work and how much its really going to cost me to get a job, I refused. Then it looked as if this guy was going to get out of his chair and strangle me for not taking a contract. What the hell, its my money! And I didn't know that I had to pay so much money for a company to find me a job. That was his commission. Because I heard him giving his own price for the same position. Don't go there, they're a scam.
I was hired to work as a telemarketer to bring customers in for work. I was told I would get paid daily before starting. On the calls, I am supposed to tell customers they have to bring $100 for processing purposes only and that if they are not given a job that they do not have to pay the $100 which is a lie. We are not allowed to tell them that aside from the $100 they bring to the supposed interview at the agency they will be expected to pay an extra $300 before they can be helped with even getting employed. The office workers are totally unprofessional except for their receptionist and they use very bad profanity. Their telemarketers are jobs offered off the books and to top it off they don't pay when they say they will.
I asked this question to Ms. **: What about if someone does not have the money at the present moment. Her response to me was then I don't want to ** deal with them at all. I wanted to know how I would get paid as I was told I would get paid daily before getting hired. To top it off, when I asked Mr. ** about my form of compensation as how I would get paid. His response was I would get paid every week on Fridays, then Ms. ** stated it would be every 15 days. When I asked Mr. ** to clarify the information to me. He stated I would have to fill out a 1099 if I wanted to get paid weekly. I told him to give it to me then he stated(this is not the job for you).
End of work for me. It would be great if someone from Consumer Affairs goes under cover as a customer. You will be able to verify the way the agency is run for yourselves and that they use profanity in front of their customers and make them wait endlessly. None of their telemarketers stay for long because of this reason. One of their workers Ms. ** curses very loud with conversations that should not be brought up at work. When she is telemarketing, her voice is heard while others are on the phone. Please investigate them as in these times where people are desperate for work they should not be taken advantage of.
