I found a temporary agency hiring for a specific job. (construction) They were hiring for a 1 week shutdown of a power plant. I was hired over the phone and told the training was paid. ( 2 hours) I was told that the start date was sunday which was automatically overtime. We worked sun thru fri 12 hours per day. I got my checks for all the time except fridays training and the overtime pay for sunday. I called them and complained, and took out a craigslist ad for anyone who worked that shutdown to contact me. They called and said they'd pay me the overtime but nobody else, because of what the law says. They told all of us that sunday was overtime to start and that is why I started then. They billed the client whom we worked for the overtime but didn't pay us that. I complained that thte training was paid but I didn't get a check. "Boyd" called from checkout resources and said Alan had mispoke, and that friday wasnt paid afterall. Today is tuesday and I still dont have my check. Lying, manipulating, and misrepresenting to all of us "temps" is wrong and I beleive illegal.
