Dentists

There are those who argue with a straight face that patients (otherwise known as consumers) can't possibly evaluate the medical and dental care they receive. Of course, most of those who say this are doctors (see story). If you think about it, it's quite an arrogant statement, something that belongs back in 1950 when we meekly thanked the doctor and did what he told us. If things turned out well, great. If not, well ... too bad.

It doesn't work that way anymore. Health care consumers can and do evaluate the care they're given and the service they receive and share those opinions with others. Don't believe us? See below.
