We have been with Beacon Debt Solutions since Dec. 2008. They take $767 every month and I still have creditors calling. When I talk to Beacon about what accounts I have left, they gave me a list of three. So how do I get calls from a creditor that they claim they closed the account? My husband and I have tried to contact Beacon for a week and a half and have yet to get a hold of anyone! Sometimes we are on hold for 45 minutes before we realize we are not getting any where.
Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I went with Beacon in July 2008 to help me settle with my debtors. They set up an account where I deposited $283.00 monthly for 20 months now. Yet nothing has been settled. They did say it would take 5 years or 60 months to have enough money in this account to settle. I got a letter in May 2010 saying that my account had to be set up with a third party, Global Client Solutions, or I could refuse to fill out the necessary paperwork and I keep the $2,709.21 check they sent me and they would close my account. To date, I have paid approximately $5,600.00. They are keeping the difference without anything being accomplished on my behalf. They have taken their 10% part and any fees right off the top without helping me out to my satisfaction.

My experience with Beacon Debt has been more than disapointing. It has been a complete nightmare. Hoping to find help from this company, I only found trouble. Beacon was extremely misleading and deceiving through all of their transactions & communication. They didn't follow through with their word that the creditors calls would stop. In return, the calls only continued and more frequently. A script was given to me from Beacon- to use when creditors called. Unfortunately the creditors insisted that they wouldn't even speak with Beacon let alone negotiate. I'm writing this review so that others like myself will not get involved in this scam. Not only did I lose hope - I lost a lot of cash! Don't be scammed- the sales man sounds extremely sincere, but it's nothing but a fraud!
